The store is easy to get in and out of from the main road, and the parking lot is ample. The store itself had everything I needed, and was brightly lit with several helpful employees. Apparently the low reviews are primarily pharmacy based. Issues with prescriptions and so on. Double-check with your insurance company first before picking up your prescription at CVS. Went to pick up my prescription and CVS rep told me my prescription was not covered and they gave me an in-house discount from CVS. I questioned a generic medication not being covered...but I needed it and paid $17.73. Before I refilled it, I called Walmart and without insurance it was $9. Walmart rep asked me for my insurance so they could run it through...it was $3.50. CVS said they could not refund me the difference and to contact my insurance. My insurance company is reimbursing me BUT they stated CVS never processed the medication through them. I will never go to CVS again for a prescription. read more

Beware when you buy any medical device out of pocket from the pharmacy. We paid for a nebulizer, only to find it broken when we got home. Went to return it and they refused to take it back. I usually get my medication from a mail order, but this CVS never has any medications that I've needed. The prescription was called in on Thursday, I go to pick it up Thursday, the Pink Haired girl said we've ordered it, but it might come in on Friday, if not then it won't be in until Monday, cause we don't get anything on the weekends!! Not sure if the problem is incompetence, poor communication, or no one knows what's going on but have had calls and text notifications that I had prescriptions to pick up. I drive from Coolidge to pick up prescriptions wait in line only to be told they have nothing waiting for me. I wouldn't recommend CVS pharmacy. If you were dehydrated in the middle of summer and you needed water that's how terrible this place is. I had my prescription sent there. They tell me. Worst Pharmacy ever. Dr called in pain medicine for wife upon discharge from hospital. Good thing I called them. They said it would take 2 days for prescription to be filled. No way to expedite even though it was only 2 days after major surgery. They made no mention to Dr calling it in. What is wrong with this picture: I've had an order in for a prescription for a week, so I go to pick it up Wednesday and find out they needed to talk to the doctor about the prescription. I hear nothing from them the next day and finally I got a hold of the doctor late in the afternoon Thursday to find out the reason they called her was because my insurance wasn't going cover the prescription. Do you think they could've called me since I'm the one that's paying for it? I knew it was a cash pay because it's a natural medicine and insurance won't pick it up. So I called the pharmacy last night gave them a good RX coupon For the prescription and he couldn't fill it because he didn't have enough pills, plus he told me it was cheaper without insurance. So I hear nothing and this is Friday. I call CVS to find out where my prescription is and they hadn't filled it yet and proceeded to tell me it is not covered under insurance. I'd really like to give a better review here however I have tried to call this CVS so many times and you can never get someone to answer the phone. Go in and you find out why. You hear the phone ringing off the hook the entire time you are there and folks, although friendly, always look confused and flustered. Today I was told (finally) the cost of my prescription (couldn't get through on the phone so I had to go in) and then told to wait 5 minutes for my vaccine which turned into 15 and then 15 later I asked and finally got someone to acknowledge me and now am still waiting. I asked them if they ever answer the phone and their response was "we get so many calls we try when we can". I see. I explained it's very challenging to get in sometimes with a baby and answering the phone would be helpful. She shrugged and said sorry. You guys have to do better than this. read more

Absolutely awful. Waited 6 plus hours for them to fill my prescriptions, when they finally did waited an hour plus in line to get them to be told it would cost 1700 dollars. We then gave them our insurance info which they should have already had on file. They said some nonsense about needing my "primary insurance " . So I called the cvs I used previously asking them to send my insurance info over to these goofballs, and in less than 3 minutes they were able to determine I had multiple profiles as I had moved and they merged the info with correct insurance information. I called these clowns back, told them that my insurance should be good now, they then informed me I had multiple profiles , which is sort of how I began the conversation anyways . Good job with those listening skills. They then told me it would be 1700 dollars. I was like no, insurance covers it. They insisted my copay was 949 dollars and 600 dollars for two of the medications. Is this your first day on the job ? When has a copay ever been 1,000 dollars? They put me on hold someone else picked up and they basically told me they hadn't even attempted to process my insurance because they were not sure it was me . Wtf is wrong with you at this point ? So they put me on hold for another 45 minutes at which point in time I drive to the store myself . The lady at the counter tells me only 4 of the 7 medications are ready, I'm like all 7 were ready yesterday....what happened? Idk, you have to go stand in this other line and ask them. Ask her for the district managers name and number, she doesn't know that either. I told her can you go ask ...she does, they tell me to to call the 1 800 CVs number which I do, but they don't have any options to speak to a pharmacy manager, unlike what I was told. Super unehelpful, they obviously don't want the bad review that is coming their way, then they give me cartridges for my insulin instead of pens , with no way to administer them , and syringes instead of the pen needles for my other insulin...again I have no way of administering them. Don't waste your time at this pharmacy, they take forever , have no useful information , give you the wrong medications and are just generally rude . read more

If I could choose 0 stars I would I'm visiting my Mom from out of town I've been trying for the past 3 days to come and get my medicine I drive 40 minutes to this location to get there I pulled up to the drive thru 2 minutes past 6 The curtain was pulled I drove to the front and entered the store arriving to the back by 6:05 There was nobody left at all and all of their gates were lowered I had hoped there was someone still gathering their things to leave that might have helped me You could tell they closed up early and were all out the door right at 6:00 I was so stressed and upset I set my things and my hands down onto the counter out of frustration I didn't know anyone was there I looked over and saw someone who was walking out of the door A man came out the door I assumed he was the Pharmacist proceeded to walk over He said," You know you're in a public place and your behavior isn't appropriate. I have to go to this pharmacy to get the better prices through my insurance. Here's the key, be mindful of the time you are trying to call or going in. I just called and got through to speak to a Pharmacist at 8:20am. This is the only CVS in town. You know how many Walgreens there are? There are 4! Explain that to me! I've never had a clerk look confused or flustered. They've always been friendly to me probably because I'm always friendly to them and ask them how their day is going. This location is the absolute worst. They are incredibly short staffed, the staff at the window are rude and lack training. They routinely get the prescriptions wrong and tell the patient to refer back to the doctor when there was absolutely nothing wrong with the scripts. This has been going on for years at this location. They don't answer the phones, it takes hours to get through when they do and even when you drive down they are simply unwilling to help you. You shouldn't have to wait days for anti nausea meds after chemotherapy. Do better please, some of us are forced to use them by are employers insurance. Hire friendly staff and a lot more of it. We have had nothing but bad results when dealing with the Pharmacists and their staff in the CVS casa Grande Arizona pharmacy ! They are extremely rude and unhelpful. We waited 2 days until our prescription was ready! When asked for advice on how to take the medicine the pharmacist told us she would be right their and never showed up. I am going to advise our doctor that any further medicines he prescribes be sent to Safeway Pharmacy here in Casa Grande Arizona. I ordered a prescription via phone and was told it would be ready before 9 pm the same day. When we went to pick it up, a lady with dark hair and glasses was extremely rude and said my prescription wasn't a priority so it hadn't been filled. She is not a pharmacist and has no right to decide whether or not my prescription is essential. One star isn't even deserved. Rx never filled timely. Each month we fill the Rx and are told it would be ready that day and each time we go pick it up hours later and they add on an expedited service of 1.5hours, that's not expedited. Used to going to CVS in Cave Creek, which is amazing, however the pharmacy at this location lacks in customer experience and customer service. I dropped off a prescription on Friday and received an automated message on Saturday to pick-up the prescription. Upon checkout I discovered that only part of my order was ready. Was told by the person that the other part of my order was not in my file. Turns out it was on the original document and they just missed it. So was told to come back on Monday and pick-up the remainder of my items. Arrived on Monday, checked my order, and discovered only part of the final item was in the order. When I asked they stated, the other part is on back order maybe it will be here tomorrow. Maybe, is this a CVS pharmacy or the local drug dealer? In today's day and age customer experience is everything and with technology the ability to be proactive in sharing information with your customer base is easy, if you care. I figure it is due to the minimum wage parttime workers, but 15 years living in the area, every time I try using this pharmacy, I am met with disappointment. Unknowledgeable and unfriendly staff. This week, I gave them another shot. I have a prescription to refill (from this CVS store, 3 refills remaining, not expired). I used the automated system to refill prescription, the system acknowledged refill order saying it will be ready next day by 11am. I went next day at 530pm (3 people ahead of me and it took 23 minutes for it to be my turn), was told there are no refill orders. She said she will now place the order for me and it will be ready later tonight. I went next day and again told no refill orders pending. I explained their two failed attempts to process and asked to make certain they process the prescription (as I am now out of med). Next day, same thing again No refill orders pending. Same thing every time I try using this CVS store. So as I have done in the past, I am transferring Rx to my local Walgreens where at least they act as if they care about their customers. read more

Every time we need a refill on one of my husband's meds, it is always out of stock and there doesn't seem to be any rush on ordering it. Calling is a joke too. I'm on a mission now. I've had it with this pharmacy. If I could go to a different one I would. I had, but the mom&pop pharmacy closed during COVID. The primary pharmacist has a horrible attitude and he's lied to me one too many times now. I want him fired. The blonde woman there should be in charge. She's aware, gets the job done with a smile, and has had to help me when he was nasty to me. The CVS website doesn't communicate with this location. They shrug about it. I have timed my wait on the phone, It's never less than 30 minutes. Call Walgreens, it's less than 5 minutes. Fry's is another 30 mins. My doctors have asked me to go elsewhere because of the poor service between them & this CVS. The head pharmacists, the one that's always got a bad attitude, and the store manager need to be fired. It doesn't deserve any stars!!!! And except for the 1 yr at the Mom & Pop, and 2 yrs at the disgusting Walmart pharmacy (who also lied to me yesterday about their policies) I've been going to this CVS for 4 years. 4 yrs of putting up with this lousy pharmacy. Sweetest workers in town. I walked in short a few dollars and one of the workers was kind enough to help me out, definitely shopping from cvs over the two pretty ghetto Walgreens we have in town. A wide variety of things are better at CVS than Walgreens from selection of items all the way to the prices. Definitely recommend over Walgreens. read more
