We have heard so much about the great sandwiches at this place, we decided to try it today. We ordered #6 which was a philly cheesesteak panini. The sandwich was great, but it would have been even better if it came with a pickle spear or some chips. It looked sad on its own. Overall recommend the place. Only disappointment was the negative conversation we heard from one of the gals behind the bar. Staff should never complain about work or customers within earshot. We'll definitely return to try some of the other menu items. read more

This is Casa Grande's hidden *GEM* !!!!!! My husband and I just moved to the area so we're trying to find our new favorite restaurants and let me tell you-- this is THE sandwich spot. There are so many fast food chains around the area.. but sometimes, you just want a meal made with love from a mom and pop shop! First of all, we don't have a Total Wine or BevMo in the area, so this is a great spot to find some unique beers, tiny bottles, wines and hard liquor. The store carries a good variety of unique flavors you typically don't see at a local grocery store. This place was POPPIN' as soon as we entered. It's a place to hang out to grab a brew with your crew along with some yummy sandwiches!!! I didn't expect the sandwiches to be HUGE, by the way. It's worth every penny and love the fact that their bread is fluffy! We got the Jimmy Kerr Duo (which is named after one of the streets in Casa Grande!) and cannot wait to try their other roast beef sandwiches! The staff here is also very welcoming and friendly, and they got my sandwich out QUICK despite it being an almost "full-house"! This was a unique and cool place to have lunch and feel like a native Casa Grandite. I loved the simple decor and decent sandwiches and pretty big menu selection. The sandwiches were pretty good, but not really "panini" in the traditional sense, I'd get something else, but I'm excited to actually go back and try something else. Service was a little relaxed, but that gave me more time to take in the experience and enjoy the place. Huge glasses of beverages were served and it was fun overall. My son worked at Lucid here in Casa Grande. One day a coworker turned him on to this place and knowing I'm a foodie, he in turn turned ME on to this place. Naturally I had to satisfy my curiosity. This is a Liquor store with a sandwich shop; plus it has a bar where you can order draft beer! I ended up ordering The Ruins Special with corned beef, pastrami, Swiss, and mustard. They only use Boar's Head meats here. This was a phenomenal sandwich with moist and tender quality meats. After I ate my sandwich I explored the liquor store. I was able to find hard to find bourbons. The two guys working there and I suspect are owners of the store even recommended some bourbons. I was surprised they had in the store Wellar bourbons. I've been trying to find Wellar's at other stores, but they are always out as these bourbons are strictly allocated. I ended up purchasing a couple bottles of bourbon including an Eagle Rare which was recommended to me by the guys/owners. I returned here numerous times for their sandwiches and hard to find bourbons. Plus the liquor store owners always have bourbon recommendations for me. They always have bourbons I never heard of before to recommend. Great guys! They know their bourbons! I still haven't sat at the bar to try any of their drafts yet, but just give me time. Getting a sandwich from a liquor store? Heck, yeah! As I was paying for a 6-pack of sour beer, I asked the clerk about the sandwiches that they sell at the bar. Turns out that some years back the owner had been craving Jersey-style subs that she had enjoyed back when she lived in New Jersey ... couldn't find just the right bread locally ... and decided to bake her own. So this mere liquor store includes an in-house bakery! Wild, right? Anyway, so the next day I talked my wife and kids into having sandwiches for lunch, and off I went to the Liquor Factory. I placed my order, and looked on as the sandwiches were all carefully assembled. It may have taken 10 minutes to craft the 5 sandwiches, but it was worth the wait. A couple were prepared "panini style," and the rest were "Jersey style." They use Boars Head meat, which tells me that they care about the quality of their product. All the staff here are great. I was a bit intimidated by who appeared to have been the manager, who sternly asked my daughter and me not to sit at the bar, since "it is a real bar." But I imagine the place could get in trouble if word got out that a 12-year-old kid was sitting at their bar with her dad. So I don't blame her for being so direct. I think they've got like 18 beers on tap. That's quite a nice selection. Haven't tried any, but it's cool that that's an option for those who want to eat there at the bar or small seating area. The sandwiches all tasted great, the prices were fair, and it just feels good to support a small business with my money. I do like other sub shops -- Subway, Jersey Mike's Firehouse, Jimmy John's, Quiznos, Blimpie, Panera ... but for something different and "local," I'll tend to get my sandwiches from Liquor Factory from now on. Wow, so I recently got this menu from this place. Love the Sandwiches and everything so I ordered a small platter for NYE and it says at the bottom of menu it includes bags of chips and sodas included and charged 90 dollars before tax. Get the subs and everything and they would not give soda and chips staying that's not for that meal plan only 5 subs while if I order 5 subs it comes out to 60 dollars. So why was I charged an extra 30-40? Then to tell me my menu i just received was outdated. I will not come here again and I will warn everyone of this unethical practice. read more

Yoooo, this place was incredible! In town on business and stopped in here for a sub after reading the reviews. I ordered the turkey and roast beef Jersey-style on white. It was soooo good! Shawnee made the best micheladas and was super warm and welcoming! The Liquor factory is a hidden gem! Along with the great micheladas, add excellent customer service and fantastic sandwiches - we had the Pinal Way Italian sub and the Florence Boulevard turkey bacon sandwiches. One of the best sandwiches I have EVER had. We have family who live in town and they took us here. OMG . I wish there was one closer. Nothing comes close to the freshness, you taste it in every bite. Let alone only using Boar's head meat! And the price point puts any other sandwich chain to shame. Just writing this post makes me want one!
