The only real problem with this CVS is its location in the Shops at Piper Glen, because on a Saturday afternoon the entire plaza turns into a madhouse with the parking lot completely full and cars circling endlessly as if a space might magically appear. I finally gave up and parked across the way at the greenway lot which is probably not recommended but I was quick and it felt like the only practical option in that moment. Inside, the CVS is laid out just like most others and I had no trouble finding the over‑the‑counter medications before stopping at the pharmacy counter to show ID and pick up some pseudoephedrine for this annoying post nasal drip that refuses to quit. With that secured, I was back on my way and hoping the sniffles finally come to an end because this has gone on long enough. If you only need the drive‑through, everything is smooth and easy. This CVS pharmacy drive-thru is never open. I always check the hours before I come and still they are closed. It is 7:20 pm and the drive-thru is closed. I would not be so irritated if I didn't come here specifically because they say they are open and then not. Please update your hours. read more

I love having this CVS in the neighborhood. Located in Piper Glen Shopping Center and easily accessible for those of us out for a little exercise on the Greenway. Don't fret over the complicated parking situation (not many spaces directly in front of the building). You can pretty much park anywhere within the parking lot and not have to walk but 30 yards to get to their front doors. I appreciate this location for so many reasons. Not only is their staff easy to work with, but they really help with products in the store. It's not always easy to find which eye drops you're looking for among the menagerie of choices. They make the complex less complex with their knowledge of the store layout. This location has a great Kodak photo printing center. We have visited several times to print a couple 4x6 prints and it's done in a snap. They staff jumps over to input the print code lickity split. Can't beat that fast service! The pharmacy staff is so helpful. Multiple times, my wife and I have made it in and they've given us recommendations of over-the-counter products or medication from the shelves that will help our symptoms. Always helped and never hindered or hurt. SO friendly. They feel like neighbors. Thanks to CVS for having a great location in the neighborhood! I'm proud to be called one of their patrons! I don't like dealing with prescriptions. I don't like having to ask questions of pharmacists. It's just intimidating. But the folks running this CVS do a wonderful job connecting with customers and getting us the help we need. My husband and I went in there months ago when he was suffering with debilitating allergies. We were given a recommendation for a behind-the-counter option that quelled his symptoms. While we were there, the pharmacist quickly filled my personal prescription (which wasn't due for pickup until the following day). She also set it up to be automated moving forward, which was a nice touch. Later, I was *dying* of sinus pressure accompanied by nausea and dizziness. No fun, especially if you're active and about to go out of town! I swung by and asked the pharmacist (Gosh, I love her) and she recommended sudafed. Instant relief. I was blown away. So if you're looking for a sweet little place to have your prescription and OTC needs met in a friendly, efficient environment, look no further. I won't consider going anywhere else! The parking here can be vexing, the spaces are limited and when the Trader Joe's crowd is in full swing...you can drive around repeatedly and not find a spot for a while. However... the staff inside is nice, the shelves are typically well stocked and the pharmacy folks are knowledgeable and helpful! There is a drive through if you only need to get prescriptions, so that is a helpful plus! Redbox for movies outside as well! read more

I went on a Sunday morning about 10:30 to get a flu shot. Thought it would be quiet & I could get in & out. Well, it was definitely quiet. I stood at the register for about 5 minutes before either of the 2 people working there even acknowledged me. Finally the woman working there (I think she was the pharmacist) asked me if I'd been helped. I told her I was interested in getting the flu shot. There were no other customers there, mind you, although the guy working there seemed to be filling Rxs. It took almost 1/2 an hour. They checked my insurance, verified that they had some on-hand, and I waited .... and waited.... and waited. The actual shot took a nano-second, but I almost walked out a handful of times. 6428 Read Rd in Charlotte NC. The lady in management acted in a totally unprofesional and mean manner when I came in for a return on a electric razor newly purchased not working. She asked if I had a reciept and when I anwsered no she abruptly told me to leave and refused to conduct as much as an exchange of items. I then walked outside pulled up your company policy on my phone and returned showing her I was entitled to an exchange. But in a nasty tone and eyes rolling was refused again and told to go to another store. I expect a company to honor their products and its own policies and refuse to do business with anyone that will not. read more
