This HT has become my new main fix because it's convenient to my morning commute. When I'm needing some breakfast before work I just leave a little early and stop in here. Good thing too, because most of the deals can be found in the morning. Discounted bananas that are a day or two from brown. Remaining sushi from last night. I probably won't get sick. Never have, knock on wood. But you can get in, get your breakfast and get out pretty darn quick. The prices and experience are pretty standard for HT. Although this is a somewhat trimmed-down location. There's no Starbucks in here though there is a little seating area. I feel like there ought to be one because of the high school just down the way. Prices are as expected. Cheaper in some aspects than Whole Foods, for example, but more expensive than other places. I really wish HT, Food Lion and any others would just give up on the whole stupid loyalty card thing. Just make the price the price forever. Doesn't Publix do this with great success? I guess $2/lb chicken breast is pretty hard to beat. read more

Call in refill at 11 am and still not ready at 4 pm. This isn't the first time! Service use to be good.

The total focus of this pharmacy is administering COVID vaccines. They don't have the time or resources to actually fill prescriptions. It takes days to get them filled. There is often just one person working and they will make you wait while they go through the entire line of people waiting to get vaccines even when they have had the prescription for days. They are not at all staffed properly to serve customers. I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

This Harris teeter is one of the convenient locations surrounding Southpark and I love that it is open 24/7. The layout near the health/beauty is a little different than other locations. It has a pharmacy and a good flower selection too. Most of the time the staff I encounter have been very friendly. I am sad that HT has stopped offering my favorite gluten free cookie-- immaculate brand, but I am noticing more and more gluten free options for other food items. I also notice that not all of the gf items have a gf sticker/label from HT, so be sure to read the packaging. read more

Great location. They are never busy when I come in the mornings. I always have a good parking spot. I went to the deli section and the girl working that day was so friendly and sweet!! I know it started with an "M". I get my groceries here and pick things up here and there. I've never had any issues and I always do self check out because it's always open. read more

The worst pharmacy. Should have switched over months ago but it's close to home and my husband likes the fuel points...which is silly...if you find a circle k or a Murphys station for gas it's just as cheap without having fuel points for Harris Teeters gimmick with BP. Everyone knows BP has higher than average gas prices. This post isn't about gasoline prices. It's about the horrible customer service. They have done nothing but cause us a ton of unnecessary stress every month. It's a disgrace. I just switched all our prescriptions back over to another Harris Teeter in Belmont. It's a far drive but I used them for years and never had one problem. I will say a few employees at Harris Teeter Pharmacy (South Park) has a few very nice employees but they can't get the prescriptions right and they have a very hard time communicating important information to the customer. I can't tell you how many times they let me run out of my Synthroid medication. I literally called it in every month two days prior and asked for a text confirmation when it would be ready. Never once did I receive a text from them when anything was ready...I would have to call which was always difficult to get through...9 times now when me or my husband would get there to pick up the rx they claimed was ready over the phone...once there...NO prescription was ready and they would have to order it which takes days sometimes 4/5 days. I can't run out of Synthroid because I have no thyroid and still battling cancer from it that has spread to my lymph nodes. I can't understand how this happens on a regular base. I have picked up other prescriptions on 3 different occasions that were not even supposed to be filled!!! Anyhow...had to put thus out here so others can be cautious. Thanks for listening. read more

On a recent trip to Charlotte, I was reminded of one of my favorite grocery stores in the South: Harris Teeter. There's one on almost every corner - it's crazy! But HT in Ballantyne came in handy - we made several trips to this location during out five day visit. Here's what we purchased: -Produce: It's plentiful and beautiful... not a bad apple in the bunch we brought home, and sweet strawberries, fresh asparagus, ripe mango, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, and more... -Dairy: feta cheese and milk -Protein: Hebrew National Salami and a huge pack of skinless, boneless, chicken breasts -Herbs and Spices: nutmeg, ginger, garlic, and more... -Frozen fun stuff: pie crusts and ice cream - we found the flavors and brands we were looking for -Packaged goods: cereal, pancake mix, tortilla chips, canned tomato, pepperoncini peppers, and I'm sure a handful of other things I'm forgetting at the moment. Bottom line: Harris Teeter is a pleasure to shop at no matter what you're "in the market" for - quite literally! Happy shopping! read more

I hate Bi Lo! I love Harris Teeter! This isn't my favorite one because it's a little dated and the salad bar is just meh, but the service as usual is good and they have a huge variety of foods. Tip: They have a salad bar and deli, it's not that good but it sure beats Bi-Lo. read more

The two girls working today 9/26/23 were phenomenal. I could tell they were stretched thin with the new Covid vaccine being available. My dog has been terribly sick with bronchitis and her vet prescribed her a human grade cough suppressant. Walgreens told me they didn't have it (I think he just didn't want to fill it) and was unhelpful of where I could get it. The pharmacist at Walgreens even told me that NO other pharmacy would have it and to have my vet prescribe something else?! My first thought was to call Harris teeter because they have been helpful with my own prescriptions in the past. I'm so glad I did before having to circle back to my vet. The girl who answered the phone confirmed they did have it and to bring my written prescription in. They were so busy when I got there. Huge long line of people. I still had my prescription filled within the hour. And they were apologizing the whole time for my wait. Walgreens would never even care if I was waiting. My dog literally has been coughing to the point of throwing up for over 48 hours and I was incredibly stressed about not being able to get her relief today. Water was out in Fort Mill. Have 4 children in my home. Harris Teeter was OUT of gallons of water. A young man on the night shift crew was AMAZING!!! He stopped what he was doing to assist me. Was kind enough to check in the back of the store. He found some water. My children, grandchildren , and myself were able to brush out teeth, take a bath , and have water to cook with. You can definitely tell there is a new head pharmacist at Harrison Crossing Harris Teeter. The last three times I have filled my script I received different amounts. When I asked what had changed at the pharmacy, I was informed the head pharmacist had changed. You certainly tell as the service is horrible and the apathetic attitude I can do without. read more

Great Harris Teeter. Open 24 hours, renovated in the last two or three years. Has great wine selection and lots of fresh foods (think bakery, salad bar, pizza station, deli, etc). Parking lot is a bit tight, but easy to get to off of both Park Road and Sharon Road West which has a traffic light. Makes it easier and safer to get to Park Road making a left when exiting. Staff is usually around and helpful. No issues there that I have experienced. Overall a great Harris Teeter location! read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Wish I did not have to use them as a preferred pharmacy. They do not automatically refill prescriptions that are maintenance drugs. You have to call in the refill. I have a mainatenance drug I have been taking for several years. When I was able to use CVS, it was filled automatically and it was filled for a 90 day supply. Harris Teeter does not only not fill automatically, but it is only for 30 day supply and not a 90 day supply. Then, when you call, you cannot get thru or when you do you are put on"hold", but actually they hang up on you. Really wish CVS could be my preferred pharmacy again. read more

This is my new favorite HT. It's almost always crowded, but it's worth it! The selection is better than most HTs, and the prices are even better. How the price can be different one HT 3 miles away from another HT is beyond me, but I've definitely noticed. Other differences are that this location seems to be better lit than some of the others, and everything looks bright and clean. Who doesn't love shiny?? The HT in Matthews has a better local produce selection, but higher prices on everything else. You can't win them all, I suppose. read more

This is our local/go-to grocery store, so we're hear several times a week. The strongest point with this store is the people who work there: super friendly staff, who go out of their way to be helpful and get to know you. But for the staff, I would give this Teeter a star or two less. The prices at Teeters in general seem to have improved, I guess because of the Kroger acquisition. But there are strong negatives to this store: the produce is often not fresh. It is far too common, for example, to get their raspberries or tomatoes home and find the bottom of the box already fungus covered. Lettuce from here often smells curious the day after purchase. Similar deal with their fish. Also note: we tried their new pharmacy but switched back to our old pharmacy after a few months because the Teeter pharmacy always seems to be closed. I wouldn't waste the time to try out their pharmacy. read more

If you live in Park Crossing, you're more or less stuck with this option unless you want to cross 51 to go to Fresh Market (worth the extra 5 mins). Publix will open nearby soon, a much better supermarket (as I remember from years spent living in Miami and Atlanta) and we can go there them. Unfortunately, this Teeter is on my commute home from uptown and I expect I will always wind up here two or three times a week. Pros: Some staff are friendly. In particular, two folks who always recognize my kids, which my kids love. Cons: Many staff are not, plus - At least 25% of the time, I get raspberries or other produce home and discover it has rotted before purchase. Check carefully before you buy. Often, you get stuff home (like meat) and discover they sold it after expiration date. Gross. Prices are nearly as high as Whole Foods or Fresh Market, but quality is poor. Our plan, which is hard to stick to because inconvenient, is to skip Teeter entirely but use Costco for staples and Whole Foods for everything else. Would be cheaper and fresher, and give us a better selection. Very little organic or health- oriented food; e.g., gluten free or tofu selections minimal. Very little decent pre- prepared food, and what there is is gross. E.g., they have a kind of pasta salad that swims in oil. Pizza is ok, but pizza area closes at 7- too early for those of us who have a day job to pick up on the way home. Layout since renovation makes it difficult to find things. Very counterintuitive. Addition of McDonalds in parking lot (admittedly, prob not Teeter's fault) has rendered the entire mall more downmarket than it was). read more

The first Harris Teeter's I've ever been in, and it was well organized and clean. The produce department really shines, and I look forward to going back to visit the deli counter when it's open. I went around 9:00pm on a Friday night, and it was surprisingly busy. I got a VIC card (another store card to clutter my keychain) from Elliot, and he was fast but distracted. I still prefer Publix, but Harris Teeter isn't as far from my apartment and is close 2nd! read more

This is our usual HT, we've been shopping here since they opened close to 35years ago. Never had a bad experience. Recently we've been very disappointed with: STAFF, we asked questions ab a product & the employee replied "to be honest, i dont even know what that is" & never offered to help us to locate it or find someone else to help us. Lots of high school kids seem to lack training or gusto. HT used to have all the managers photos up on the wall, you would recognize regular staff members & managers... not any more. continually frustrating. MEAL DEAL, the meal deal hasnt been displayed out, with all items gathered like usual, for the past 2 weeks. we asked 3 employees & no one seemed to know what was going on, none of those employees offered to help us gather the items or even find out what the meal deal was for the week. when we approached a manager ab it, she said "is it not over there?" to which we replied no, she replied "hmmmmm" very frustrating. VIC PRODUCT SIGNS: we were searching for specific VIC specials & it seemed like there were no corresponding self signs with the wkly ad. products were hard to find & we had no idea if they were truly a VIC special. frustrating again. this HT is the most convenient to our home, so we will continue to shop in hopes that they return to their usual great service. read more

I'm extremely frustrated with Harris Teeter pharmacy. While they do have cheaper prices in comparison to other stores... I ALWAYS have to wait. I once called in a prescription around 12 pm and asked if they could please have it ready for me around 5:30 pm so I could pick it up after work. I waited for ONE HOUR after work at the pharmacy because they still hadn't filled it and only one pharmacist was working. I go again today to get my prescription filled, in a time crunch to get to work, and headed out of town tomorrow for a few days (and I will be out of medications). Had a pharmacist at the other store call it over and told her I was getting in my car and that I was in a significant rush. I get to the Harris teeter, no drive through. Only one pharmacist and one tech working. Two people ahead of me... had to wait 10 minutes before anyone even said anything. When they finally got to me they told me it would be 15 minutes. I didn't have 15 mins!!! I'm working a 12 hour shift and they will be closed when I get off. Leaving the state at 7 am tomorrow and the pharmacy doesn't open until 9. So now I will be going out of town without my meds that cause side effects when I don't take it. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt because they do have good prices but I ALWAYS have to wait and leave disappointed every time. Very upset. read more

This Harris Teeter is our neighborhood store and after living here for 3years now I have to say that it has been getting steadily worse. If there is a sale on any item, you can forget it unless you get there on Wednesday. The store is regularly and very frustratingly out of many basic items. One rarely sees anyone stocking the shelves. I've complained to management, but it seems to have no effect. I will drive 5 miles out of my way to shop Publix when I really need something. I live in Washington state, and John (manager, been with the store 20 years he told me) went above and beyond, far and away, to help me surprise my long distance boyfriend by delivering a celebratory cookie cake to Monroe. I like Harris Teeter, the grocery store but their Harris Teeter brands are awful. The Pepperoncini's taste like salt. Their chocolate covered raisins tasted like old chocolate and their organic peanut butter didn't have enough oil in it so it was very chalky. The oil that was in it seemed watered down. The one time I buy Harris Teeter brand products and all 3 of them are inedible. read more

I'll give this HT one star, but honestly...not even worth that. After months of construction and inconvenience, they still don't have their act together. It's Saturday morning and there are only two checkouts open. Really? Self checkout registers are rarely open; floor is half installed (tripped on this twice); merchandise mell pell all over the store blocking aisles...even though I live a block from this HT, I'll go the few extra miles to Southpark. Steer clear of this HT until they get it together - and oh joy...a McDonald's is going in the parking lot...there goes the neighborhood!! read more

I just moved to the area and was pleasantly surprised that this Harris Teeter was right around the corner. Besides getting a little lost in the aisles to find some items, the selections were great. The produce and meat sections had more selection than some of the other local grocery stores. The hot bar, salad bar and pizzeria were all nice additions. The pizza slices were extra large and delicious, I got the pepperoni. I will definitely be going back here. read more

This HT is very close to my home therefore it's my constant go-to spot. I have no complaints about the store overall - this review is specifically about their rotisserie chicken. I purchase this constantly as I use it in many different ways for dinner. Unfortunately there are numerous times when I get home and cut into the chicken only to realize that it is still quite raw. Rotisserie chicken (when cooked fully/properly) should have a slight burn on the skin but if you take a look at ALL the chicken that's there most of the time it's frighteningly pale. Last night I was running home late and was forced to pick one up - and OF COURSE it was very pink/watery inside. I had to put it in the oven for an extra 40 minutes. PLEASE Harris Teeter give your employees a refresher course on properly cooking food items ESPECIALLY something like chicken. Someone is bound to get very sick off of this! May have to start looking at Publix. read more

I have been shopping here at this Quail Hollow location since 2009. It has been out of a few of my favorite foods that I buy almost every other day. There flowers I love to buy also, but there quality of there small roses dye with in a few days of taking them home! Today just put the icing on the cake. I went to the self service line this morning to buy the two things that I mostly get. There was a young employee at the main register with another employee talking with her. Then two of your other employees checking out on two of the registers and talking to other employees also. The other two registers were already being used. The one employee moved from one of the registers and I thought she was done so the screen said open, so I approached it and was ready to touch the screen to start it. Then the young girl came to me and said rudely, excuse me we are still using it. Then she got on and swiped her card for the other employee. So I left with out my items!!!! I suggest if your employees are on the clock should check out at customer service, there was no line there and leave the floor registers for your customers!! People that at your store that early in the morning are preparing to go to work or school!! We don't want to walk into a line that five of your employee are all having a conversation and holding up the line. Also as many times that I am in there, one if I am lucky two of your employee will greet me!!! Very bad customer service and that is sad, because I remember once upon of time when it use to be better!!! read more
