Received a text from CVS to pick up my prescription at 1:18pm on Sunday, went to store at 1:35pm and pharmacy was closed. Why would you text me to tell me to pick up my prescription when you are closed. Need to have better coordination between mass text messages and store hours. Terrible customer service. read more

Woman associate (seemed like the store manager name starts with B is all I can remember) v v rude, disrespectful & unprofessional.I visited early opening around 8:15 am today. I was having trouble using a coupon at self checkout so requested for help. She was downright rude, muttering under her breath, shaking her head etc. Seems like customer service was the last thing on earth she wanted to do. As I walked out the store I thought it's a shame to be treated that way by the first person you meet as you start your day.Its only a 5 min drive from my home & I hope CVS Chester Springs would hire warm, polite, professionals in the future. my family started using this pharmacy 4 years ago. i was hesitant to do so based off of Yelp reviews. As often is the case, the reviews do not reflect the actual quality of service at this CVS. the pharmacist, Dr Moy-Maldonado and her crew consistently keep this high volume location running smoothly. they jump through insurance, pharmaceutical manufacturer and medical office hoops to help you out and solve your medication issues. they did it again today for me involving one of my sons medications, and they've done it before and will do it again. ignore the negative reviews, this place is pharmacy Gold! read more

Pharmacy is supposed to be open at 9:00 am. Today I waited (couldn't return later) for 35 aggravating minutes for the pharmacist to arrive. She finally did, but the manager had nothing to say except "she's late". Well thanks. When asked why she couldn't open it and give us our filled prescriptions sitting there, she said she couldn't. At least 5 customers got fed up and left. Poor performance and management all the way around. read more

Went to pick up a prescription and it wasn't there. I asked why I wasn't notified that it was out of stock and the pharmacist was extremely rude. She simply said "they didn't have it" which I questioned where I could get it, if it was that CVS didn't carry it or just that location and she rolled her eyes at me and shook her head acting as if I was the stupid one for asking. If you don't have something, fine, but people are going to get medicine they need to feel better. The absolute least you could do is have some decency. read more

They have misspelled my mother's name and refused to correct it. This has bothered her but she let it go. Recently she had a prescription filled, and got home to find the lid was not on and the pills were loose in the bag. We counted them and discovered that they had only given half of what was needed. I phoned and they said they could refill in 18 days, which would be well after the half they gave her ran out. My dad (her husband) went in the next day to talk them and was told it was a "doctor error." He explained that they should have said something to her and mentioned that when he had a similar issue his pharmacy called him and the doctor. He was told that she should use his than. This is the worst cvs known to man... they fuck up scripts constantly and keep you waiting. I just sat on the phone waiting for the pharmacist for over 30min with no pick Up. They messed up a refill date yet again for my antidepressant. Which I cannot be without of. Ridiculous. Get it the fuck together!! Doesn't even deserve a star. read more

This pharmacy is understaffed and even closed spontaneously mid-day on Thursday September 16th. The pharmacy techs told customers that a pharmacist wasn't in, and they all subsequently locked the pharmacy and left. The staff was heard stating after locking up around noon, "I can't believe we just did that." They left customers who had been waiting for prescriptions standing in the store, and departed. One customer just came from the hospital and was begging for her prescriptions, to no avail. They are understaffed, unprofessional, and don't seem to care about their customers. We are taking our business elsewhere. You should do the same. read more

As I type this review, I have hee on hold for 37 minutes and counting... when I do go into store, the pharmacy area is always a mess and unkempt. Staff is rude and always seem to be bothered you are there. It use to be a great place 10 years ago, but has gone downhill terribly. I'm done giving them chances. read more

For whatever reason(s), it always takes incredibly long to get your prescriptions refilled. On several occasions My doctor has called in the morning (9am and 10am) and it took them well into the next day to fill them. When you are in pain and need medicine, over 24 hours to wait for a refill is unacceptable. I don't know if they are overworked and understaffed (which is not the fault of the people working there who do seem to try their best), it's a fault of management. Like many people I come here because it's close to my house, but no more. The service is just so bad, I am forced to go elsewhere, to a different pharmacy chain. And this has been going on for years (pre-pandemic), so the inefficiency is not due to COVID. read more

This is the closest pharmacy to my home but it is worth a drive to avoid it. They are woefully understaffed and one of the slowest pharmacies I've ever encountered. On several occasions they have been out of stock for the prescribed medication but you don't know that of course until you go to the store (since it is impossible to talk to a human if you call), stand in line forever only to learn that they are out of what you need. This review is based on many encounters. I've tried to cope just because they are close, but it's just not tolerable. You just can't rely on this place. read more

CVS Chester Springs completely messed up my 11 year olds prescription. She was supposed to be taking 12.5 mg daily. Their directions had her taking 25 (frightening - I know). She was miserable and while on the phone with the doctor, he mentioned that he had prescribed her the smallest amount (12.5). After speaking to a Pharmacist, they admitted to making the mistake. I was told they were sorry, they would fix it and that a manager would call me. I never received a call but I let it go. We all make mistakes and I chalked it up to Covid craziness. I was just thankful, that by pure luck, I had caught it early (5 days in). However, the following month when I picked up the same prescription, the directions still said to give my daughter 25 mg each day!! They didn't even have the decency to formally fix their mistake. How can you trust a place that gives your child double the medication that she needs - TWICE! You can't. Save yourself the trouble and find another pharmacy. read more

I switched to this CVS for convenience. But may have been a mistake. I gave it over 1 year to work, but there has been too much inconvenience because of them. I'm not sure what is going on, but it almost seems like someone takes it upon themselves to go into the system and cancel online orders that were placed (without any notice). I have rx's that frequently get changed, dose, ect....and they do not get filled when the new order goes through. It goes through online, then gets cancelled. One time I called by phone to get one rx filled, it went through, and when I got there they told me it was marked in their system as an inactive rx.....when I had it filled the month before. Not sure what it is....but I think I am switching today. Im going back today for a 2nd time because the last 2 rx's I filled online got cancelled in the system. I've had enough. read more

I have lived in this area for four years now and have repeatedly been disappointed with the level of service at this drug store. My doctor or my son's doctors will electronically send their prescriptions to CVS, I will call to verify that they got the prescriptions and when I may be able to pick them up. Inevitably I arrive and am told I"m sorry they're not ready yet! What?! I have a very sick two year old in my arms, I called ahead to be sure you would be ready and now I'm told to wait?! Today was the last straw, my son has a fever of 104, bronchitis and an ear infection. I was told the prescription would be ready by 3 p.m., I arrived at 4 p.m. and had to wait 40 minutes! I will no longer give my business to this CVS, prescriptions or otherwise! I'm not sure where management is when it comes to staffing for the peaks and valleys of their business but I have yet to go into this CVS and be satisfied with the service I receive...ever!!!!! I stand in line or sit in a chair in utter disbelief that I have again found myself in this situation. Never again...I will now drive out of my way to get my prescriptions filled! read more

Our Insurance Carrier changed from Acme Pharmacy to CVS about three years ago. By contrast Acme was fabulous. We never had a problem. Friendly and personable service, rarely waited, like old school private pharmacies I remember growing up (I'm 54). CVS has consistently been a problem. There is no confusing that you are anything but a faceless individual arriving to pick up a script from the multitude of customers frequently waiting in line. Of greater concern is the frequency with which they fail to fill scripts. For example: they frequently fail to fill scripts telling us they never got the RX from the Doctor's office. The Doctor provides us day and time they fax'd in the RX. This has occurred on four separate occasions. It appears CVS Pharmacy does a tremendous volume judging from the large number of packages awaiting pick-up. I suspect they offer favorable terms to insurance carriers. The Pharmacists always seem overwhelmed and busy as a result. We are trapped at this local CVS. Solution(s): I am writing my insurance company and going to another CVS in hopes of a Manager who performs better. read more
