I have been getting some compounded meds for the last year from Lionville Natural Pharmacy and I am so pleased with the experience. In particular, I had a reaction to one and was able to sit down with Mike Briggs to discuss it. He came up with an alternative that even my doctor hadn't suggested, and it worked. I felt heard and understood, which to me is one of the biggest ways to build trust. Jamie and the other staff are top notch, too; always friendly and helpful...it is a pleasure to stop by. I do not recommend the supplement consulting service. I was referred to Mike Briggs by my doctor and spent a lot of time and money for his expertise. Not every hit is a home run as they say and sadly, the hundreds of dollars of supplements he recommended for me which I bought didn't do the trick. My health collapsed and I couldn't get out of bed or do almost anything for many months after. I contacted them after a year to ask if they would still honor the free follow-up consultation promised as I still believed that Mike could help me, and he didn't reply to my email. After three weeks, I emailed again to ask if they would honor it, to ask what the cost would be if they didn't, and I asked him to let me know either way, and at this point ten days later, they have not replied. read more

needed a compounding pharmacy when my daughter was unable to take her medicine post surgery due to nausea. My physician sent us here and it was wonderful. They compounded her medicine very quickly, were friendly and helpful, and quick to get us in and out with a sick child. I reached out to them about a health issue I am struggling with that is not responding to traditional medication. After reading the information on their website I was optimistic that they might be able to help me. The website has consultation form you can fill out and submit to the pharmacy for their evaluation. I provided additional information along withe the consultation form and included my long list of medications and supplements and emailed it to them as directed. It turns out I completely wasted my time because they made the decision to ignore me. I followed up by leaving 2 voicemails and they were ignored as well. They pose as an alternative health care provider but they are nothing more than a vitamin shop. Their prices are much higher than online. read more

First let me say I have spent many hundreds of dollars in this store in the past. Prenatal vitamins, sunscreen, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, to name a few. All "natural" and therefore all pricey items. Usually I don't need customer service but today I did. The shampoo I had bought unfortunately leaves a strong odor resembling RAID bug spray. I attempted to return the shampoo, and I let the woman helping me know that I had used it. She looked at my receipt, which was unfortunately past the 30 day mark, and said oh no, I don't think so, since it's pasty 30 days and you used it." She told me she'd need to check with the older man, I don't know his name but I assume he's the owner. So they go behind the pharmacy where I can't see them but I can hear them. He says, rather loudly, "absolutely not!" and then she comes back and breaks the bad news to me. Terrible customer service. I can understand that the lateness of my return and the fact that I used the shampoo both are *technically* valid reasons to refuse my return, However, many stores would have returned it anyway, for store credit. That would be great customer service. Further, nothing else was offered to me. At a minimum, I would think an offer of 10 or 20% off of a future purchase might have left me feeling better about things. The shampoo in question cost me over $10. And as I mentioned, the way in which the message was delivered to me was not at all friendly. Going forward I will be making purchases such as this at Kimberton Whole Foods, or online. They will be losing a fair amount of business from me. read more

Save yourself the aggravation and shop on line. Lucky Vitamin, Vitacost, and even Amazon have it all and at better prices....and no grumpy grumps with zero ability for customer service. read more

The employees who were working when I called prior to shopping, do not have any knowledge about the products and are careless in there description as to what was relayed to me via the phone conversation. I would strongly suggest that customers research the products that interest them. Especially when purchasing pain relieving treatments! I purchased what I thought was pain relief oil and in fact was told the product is for pain relief and that the difference between this product and another is that the product I purchased was not as strong. In fact the product I purchased is for skin hydration and has no pain relieving qualities at all. I cannot understand the complete reckless disregard these employees displayed especially when they knew it was a serious matter regarding pain. I have been a customer of this establishment for 30 years. The owner and his son are knowledgeable well informed hard working men. I had complete faith I would experience informative honest exchange with whoever is working. The level of disappointment is crushing. The seriousness of the events that occurred are unforgivable. The father and son team that run this place are incredible. They always offer suggestions, recommendations, samples and advice freely when I stop in. I hate to see any negative reviews about them because they are very knowledgeable, kind and caring men. I recommend this place to anyone I talk to who is interested in alternative medicine and I recommend them to anyone reading this. Visit the place and draw your own conclusions; don't just take the opinion of someone you don't know, especially when there are others like myself who have had wonderful experiences. Wow. This place not only has a great selection available but a really kind and knowledgeable staff. If you know what you need or are completely lost, GO HERE. I have to admit I was a bit overwhelmed walking in there and not sure what I really needed. The store was busy and yet they were very patient with my endless questions. Then I met with Mike who recommended a few course of treatments. He clearly knows his stuff. The price was comparable, maybe a $1 cheaper online for one but the others were similarly priced in store. I have many many allergies.and they do not permit me to use antibotics with color or different fillers. I was sooooo grateful for Mcheal, the pharmacist,. Fom the minute I explained my dilemma to him, he called his pharmacutical team, and they came up with the perfect antibotic for me. After using a filler that went along with my gluten free,color free needs, he presented me with a very acceptable antibiotic. I can now rely on that medication and taking it without stomach problems, that come from fillers used by your "regular pharmacies" it is such a blessing!!!!
