Please get rid of your new AI "communication" system! It's horrible!!! I can't tell you how many times I had to call and then wait for a callback because you can't get through. You now have to leave a voicemail and wait for a callback. And if you forget to ask a question you have to go through that whole process again. Just answer the damn phone. read more

I went to pick up my medication a week ago from the drive through. A young man (probably in his late 20's) took care of me at the window. As I'm waiting for my medication the cvs employee coughed and didn't cover his mouth. He was not wearing PPE and gave me the medication as if this pandemic is a joke. I was extremely upset and told him he can be A symptomatic and could easily pass this on to me or anyone else. He started to laugh and joked that nothing will happen. I'm scared and paranoid at this moment. I should not have to deal with such carelessness from a Pharmacey employee. Usually people go there to pick medication because they're not feeling well. This man didn't care to keep customers safe. He clearly should not be working the window at CVS. This pharmacy should train employees to take precautions seriously to keep themselves and customers safe. read more

I've been here more times than I can count in the past 3 months. (And I can count pretty high even without using fingers/toes!) And they always have the script ready within about 15 to 20 minutes of getting it written. I had to go to the Urgent Care across the parking lot a few times (thanks pneumonia) this past winter, and they'd have everything ready by the time I walked over there. Maybe I had to wait a minute or two if they were busy. The other day I walked in and the lady behind the counter waved and said hi. On my way out the guy told me to have a good one, and I admonished him to do the same! So, at least in my experience, the service is fast and friendly. The pharmacists are especially kind despite the treatment they get all day. read more

Poor COVID hygiene. I stopped in to the Sand Creek CVS today. There was one retail cashier, and he was wearing a mask with his nose exposed. After waiting in line, I asked him about some merchandise. He pulled down his mask, no doubt so I would hear him more clearly, and answered my question without hesitation. Yikes! read more

Pharmacy constantly making mistakes with my prescriptions! My doctor will call in a script and they will say they don't see it than I call and talk to someone else and they can. Causes delays of care and stress. How is this possible? read more

I can't believe how bad this pharmacy has gotten. Three times in the last two weeks my doctor has had to send over prescriptions. All three times they are either out of the medication and have to order it, or worse yet, a day later, they haven't filled the script at all. Today, after waiting ten minutes in line (there is always a line here), I was told that my two scripts, which my doctor ordered 27 hours earlier, were not ready because "we are backed up." This is really poor customer service and gross mismanagement. I am reporting them to corporate and will have my prescriptions sent elsewhere. read more

This store just can't get it together. Always new staff, never consistency, and false information. They withheld your scripts longer than needed. I highly recommend going to Hannaford in the same exact plaza. read more

I have gone to this CVS store at 1026 Madison Ave in Albany NY for years. It is extremely convenient and one of the older stores It isn't a huge CVS. But I must tell you that I am on a first name basis with Tim Lasher, Amy Zujovic, and April. The pharmacy techs are Shelby and Gaelin. I can't say enough about this wonderful, knowledgeable and caring group of individuals. They are so incredibly helpful, and are always there for information. I take some medication that is written for a year in 3 month increments,. You get an automated call when the script is ready. How cool is that. Alan Richter runs the front of the store and is another totally delightful individual.. You get e-mails all the time that you can send to your CVS card. Love this store and the people! If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This used to be a good pharmacy but within the past 3 months, it's gotten awful; texts and calls and then there is no script ready. Long waits for scripts, for them to answer the phone, in the drive thru lane. Several times, they have not even had the drugs in stock. Unacceptable. Dr calls in scripts and they say they haven't received them. No one seems to be in charge. Defiinitely need new management.. read more

This used to be a so-so pharmacy (Wolf Road & Sand Creek Road location). In the past I had some problems, mostly that they sometimes did not have some scripts that are regularly prescribed to me. HOWEVER, it had recently turned into a disaster zone. Time after time after time I have not been able to get scripts filled or there have been SERIOUS communication problems. The last script I received here was honestly such a bizarre experience that it was simply the last straw for me. First, the med was late, then I was never contacted when it came in, then I was told they could only partially fill it and recommended I wait 2 days until they could fill the entire order, then I stopped back 2 days later and they said they could not fill it because it was passed the 'fill by' date (which you would have thought the pharmacist would/could/should have known), then they PROMISED to call the doctor and then call me to let me know the status, THEN THEY CALLED ME AND LEFT A MESSAGE INTENDED FOR MY DOCTOR! I've been a CVS customer for DECADES, but not anymore. Aside from this last, and other very recent problems, the staffing here and miscommunication has had me sincerely fearful for my health. I'm changing all my scripts to be filled elsewhere. I'm so angry I'm not even buying soap at this CVS anymore! Urrgh :( read more

Automatic doors, decent selection of various products.. The Pharmacy computer system seems very reliable so my rx's are filled w/o trouble. This, in spite of insurance changes that one is meant to explain. The network is updated, phone calls are made to customers concerning matters as needed.
