Very slow service and don't properly explain everything. They also don't work with you on getting the best prices. When I asked if insurance or coupon or Good Rx was the best price Harley told Me no without even checking. When I asked him to please check the price came back a lot more expensive which is OK but then he said I had to wait 20 minutes for him to change back over the prescription because he had to redo the paperwork to go back to the original price for insurance. This is a little confusing, but bottom line he acts like he knows what he's doing, but he doesn't have a clue. We will not be bringing our prescriptions to this pharmacy anymore. read more

THE WORST EXPERIENCE!! My friend went to get medication for me because I was violently throwing up. She couldn't find zofran and asked the lady at the pharmacy for help. The lady was so incredibly rude and I heard the whole exchange over the phone. She refused to help my friend and said "why are you talking to me." I've never written a review but that was COMPLETELY unacceptable. read more

This location of CVS has save me on many occasions as it's right on my way to work. I have been using this CVS for the past 13 years and one thing I can say it remains consistent. Whether is come here for a sports drink, snacks, or little dolidas, it usually has whatever one is looking for. I can't think of a better location then to be off US1 where millions of cars a day pass by at all hours. This place is perfect of all the college UM students to walk since it's close to campus. They do have a lot of small meals that students can microwave for a quick meal for the ones that can't cook lol read more

After waiting 10+ mins in line, the cashier leaves as soon as it's my turn. There were only 2 people left in line. He didn't say anything and just left! Came back after 5 minutes. The pharmacist who helped me was extremely rude. She took a personal phone call in the middle of helping me, stopped to text in front of me. Did not update me on what she was doing. There was a long line. She kept interrupt me to address other people around me. I approached her when it was my turn and started to explain to her what I was there for. She spoke over me to speak to another worker. Didn't apologize, didn't say "one moment". Very disgusting attitude and should not be working in this field. Bedside manor applies to pharmacists too. She didn't explain to me AT all the prescription the doctor sent over even though I kept asking questions. She just kept repeating the basic name of it. Her name was Nancy Ebrahim and she should find a different job. read more

It seems silly to me to write a review on something so simple as a CVS, but I frequent it too often to let it pass. While any store can offer all your basics, this one does it with a kind of ease that makes buying things a pleasure. It's one of the few places around the area open 24/7, so even if you just need something random late at night, it's there for you and will probably satisfy just about any need! Their pharmacy is always really quick and easy to use and they refill just about any prescription in a matter of minutes! They just updated their photocenter with new machines that make it even easier to print out pictures and I've never felt disappointed due to high prices when checking out! Although parking can sometimes be difficult and the place (like many places off the side of US-1) hard to get to, once you do, you shouldn't have a bad experience! read more

When I called them, I was placed on hold for 20 minutes TWICE, since they told me I had to speak to the pharmacist to renew the prescription instead of leaving a voicemail. Do not order prescription delivery on the CVS App from this pharmacy. They have no clue how to process orders. We had to call their national number for them to assist the pharmacy on how to process prescription delivery order. This after five phone calls, on hold several times, and finally speaking to the store manager, response was "we can't do anything about online/app orders". Even though the CVS app showed order in process as payment was already approved by credit card. Horrible customer service. Sad, it used to be a good neighborhood store. I would give this place 0 stars if it were an option. Worst CVS I have ever been to, extremely rude pharmacy staff and completely unhelpful. I have called over 10 times in the last three days, and I am put on hold until the line hangs up one me. Witnessed in person that they just let the phone ring and ring despite there being no line or appear to be doing much of anything. Tried to contact the front of the store to get a number to report to corporate, and I was swiftly hung up on. Finally was able to contact corporate and file a complaint, but still have been unable to receive my prescription (which they claim to not have). Spend your time and money literally anywhere else. I've been tricked before by 24 Hr signs only to discover that while the store is open, the pharmacy is NOT. This place has a legitimate 24 hr pharmacy. Perhaps it was the late hour (midnight) but it took less than 10 minutes to get a prescription filled and paid for. The pharmacist was efficient and friendly. While living on campus at UM this place is probably where I've spent the most time and money so far haha. Beer run, medicine run, tampons, snacks, nail polish, what ever you need, they have, and they are open 24/7. That being said since it is incredibly convenient, and the only place in Coral Gables other than Denny's open this late, they up charge you like nobody's business. $13 for cold medicine, $20 for sudafed, and $12 for a frozen pizza?? I don't think so. But at 3 am where else are you going? All things considered however, they have some of the best deals ever. When you come to UM for the first time you must get a CVS rewards card. It should practically be handed out with CaneCards. Yes most the coupons are super random, but the fact that every so often they have BOGO Arizona teas and $5 CVS bucks is pretty nice. Once you get a car and time, you can make it to the 24 hr Walmart or something if you need more than tampons and a chocolate bar, but it's still possibly the most trafficked place in this little chunk of Coral Gables. The staff is always super nice and helpful and they will always have a smile when you come in. It's a quick stop and you pay for the convenience. Little FYI, always go in the day after a holiday to stock up on super cheap candy ;) read more

The absolute worst CVS. I could disregard the stench of dirty carpets (which smells an awful lot like an alley) if the customer service was any good, but it's not. The pharmacy technicians are incredibly rude, unhelpful and slow. There is one exception, a nice young lady (who might be Indian - sorry I don't know her name) who is sweet and helpful, but I haven't seen her in a while. The cashiers at the front are also unhelpful and slow. Pretty much all of the employees spend their time talking to each other and ignoring the growing lines on the other side of the counter. The final straw for me was the pharmacy messing up my prescription...again, leaving me to have to venture to a Walgreens to get it filled. Before I left I decided to buy some bags of candy on sale, which did not ring up correctly at the from register. The woman was so lazy and unwilling about the whole process of correcting the mistake that I told her to forget it, that I didn't want the candy anymore. Only then did she manually correct the mistake and proceeded to lecture me about my new phone number (I've had it for two weeks) that was linked to someone else's card. read more

This is the CVS across from UM, so you should always expect it to be somewhat busy. That being said, for as busy as it is, it always gets the job done. I feel like this location has more of the basic food/drinks than other CVS' just because it is across from campus and there are constantly students looking to stock up. I started coming to the pharmacy six years ago and even though it's not the most convenient location to where I live now, I still keep going back. They've somewhat recently put in self-checkout counters so it's even easier to get in and out than usual! read more

The worst service ever . You order online they do to have it ready , you walk in you have to wait two hours . On Sunday's they have two people working , and a line of people waiting , everybody has a different problem to pick up a medication . They are not helpful at all . I've never written a review of a pharmacy before but this CVS pharmacy deserves rave reviews as they went above and beyond anything a patron could ever ask for. In short, I had an issue that I needed to deal with promptly at a different CVS pharmacy that was much further away & I would not have been able to make it there in time and although it was a difficult task ..... The staff at this CVS pharmacy went out of its way and walked the other pharmacy personal through the process to enable my transaction to take place. It took time, patience & expertise..... and I was an unknown patron- yet this team went out of its way for me and made the impossible happen. All I can say is thank you and what a pleasure it is to applaud the pharmacist and her staff's effort! read more

To my surprise, CVS is shutting down the manned checkouts. When I was in today, the only way to check out was at the self-checkout stations. The only manned checkout was in the pharmacy. I thought this was strange as the only way to buy some of the items such as cigarettes was by an attendant. I guess that is progress or the lack there of. read more

The bathroom in this CVS is absolutely unacceptable. How unsanitary, messy, and the smell of most definitely way below normal store standards. Pharmacist Sisely is extremely nice, hard working and always there. As for the rest of the pharmacist they are extremely rude, unaccommodating, and demeaning. Definitely not what your want from a pharmacist. If your going to this location ask for Sisely. If you have an option GO TO ANOTHER STORE. read more

This CVS is located across the street from University of Miami. It is a typical CVS with typical merchandise. The only thing that stands out a little more is the selection of beer which is displayed at the front. This CVS recently added self check out which in my opinion is a great thing. Before it seemed like the employees were extremely slow on check outs which caused the lines to build up. read more

The store is open 24 hours which is great, but the pharmacy closes earlier. One of the big problems with this location is that the pharmacy closes very early on weekends. During the week the pharmacy is open later, but if you come on weekends, unless you get there real early, you're sunk. Otherwise the store is clean, orderly, and well stocked. Parking is also OK in the shared lot and there are always spaces available. I do not recommend pulling directly out of the lot onto US 1. Instead take the rear entrance out of the lot and take the side streets back to US 1. read more

This CVS has an awesome location & is open 24 hours which always comes in handy if you're up all night. The store itself just expanded doubling in size as it took over the adjacent UPS Store location. The Pharmacists & the new pharmacy are amazing. Sadly a few of the new hires in the pharmacy tech department leave a LOT to be desired. Clueless, robotic, unprofessional & completely devoid of common sense. The one I had the pleasure of dealing with today was utterly mindless, blank stare & all. Asking medically sensitive questions about meds from 10 feet away (...with a captive audience!) & repeating it, with this confused look on her face, wondering why I'm not answering her. Oh --this is REALLY happening?! Then, when I calmly try to tell her that I understand she's clearly new & reasons like HIPPA privacy laws why she could handle things more professionally --she cops an immediate attitude & becomes dismissive. hell no! I KNOW this child did NOT just patronize me. Luckily one of the scripts I got was for my blood pressure --cuz I was about to go off. . It can take years to build a successful relationship with a client; but only minutes (and the right moron) to lose it. I hope the back of the house (Phcy) can get it together and be as friendly & efficient as the crew that runs the front end. read more

Horrible Service! I went there to take photo for visa application. They told me they knew the criteria of the photo, and took one for me. However, when I tried upload the photo to complete the online visa application, it got rejected due to the low illumination of the photo. Then I returned to the shop and asking them to take another one for me. They came up with a series of excuses to reject my request! I am supper unhappy with this experience, especially with the lady who works for taking photos and is very callous! read more
