Went in to CVS this evening and walked around for a while and could not find what I was looking for. I went to the pharmacy and stood in line. When I got to the front of the line, I asked the pharmacy tech if they carried Relaxium over the counter. The pharmacy tech said "I don't know" and looked at the Pharmacist and the pharmacist shrugged and answered, "the girls up front can look that up." I have always asked at the Pharmacy in Walgreens, Safeway, CVS, Walmart and Flagstaff Pharmacy Always, someone has helped me. If they couldn't tell me where it was, they have come out and showed me. I was shocked by the lack of customer service. That would not have happened at any of the other pharmacies listed. read more

You're on your own at this store. If you're lucky there might be one unlucky employee in the store outside the pharmacy. If you have a problem with self checkout or a product question you're on your own. I feel for the employees. read more

The CVS pharmacy in Cottonwood was SO easy to deal with. Coming from Maricopa (which has grown extensively the past 5 years) this was a breeze! I want to take a minute to do a positive review. Our truck broke down during thunder valley rally and we were stuck an extra 3 days without blood pressure medicine for my husband. The pharmacist took the time to get ahold of Kaiser in California, which is not an easy task, and get just a few pills transferred to make sure my husband got what he needed. Going the extra mile when it clearly wasn't gonna be a lot of money for the establishment but was just the right thing to do. Nice assortment of snacks. Fairly clean. The drive-through pharmacy pick-up is handy - it we had a rude and unhelpful person today at the drive-through window. She seemed angry and curt when we pulled -up and was unable or more likely unwilling to answer the most rudimentary questions about our prescription. We decided to avoid her, and go through drive-through, park and walk-in to the store to get some form of customer service and advice from somebody else. Please train your staff on personable and effective customer service and problem solving. read more

I filled a prescription with CVS for my senior mother in a nursing home. According to the doctor's office, it turns out that the medication they gave her does not pair well with her other medicines. When I approached the Pharmacist as to why they would fill the order, that I gave her, he explained that they did not have a particular medication on her list of meds. I went to her EOBs and they filled and were paid for that RX five times in 2022. He could not explain other than it was a glitch in the system. I called the Cottonwood CVS Manager, Becky, and explained my situation to her and she would look into it and call me back. Three days later, I called CVS to escalate it to Regional Manager. They change my prescriptions from what my doctor ordered, sometimes giving me only one refill when my doctor tells me she ordered several. At other times they change the number of pills prescribed. Once they cut mine down to 1/3 of what my doctor ordered. They miss drug interactions and/or don't bother to tell you there are ineractions. They try to change out of pocket for prescriptions covered by insurance. There is almost always a a long line. If the prescription is too much trouble, they will make you step aside or stand in another line so they can work on easier orders first. If you complain about being made to stand in line several times, they send the manager to "suggest" you take your prescriptions elsewhere. If you call first to make sure your prescription is ready, they tell you to come in, but don't tell you that they'll be closed when you get there. They claim your doctor did not call in your script when you know she did. They don't call when your prescription is ready. They used to be good until a couple of years ago, but not anymore. Almost everyone is new, and they act like it. Even their automated service is much worse than it was a couple of years back. I used to love them, not any more. Who knows what happened; new mismanagement, maybe? read more

This place is horrible! One of the pharmacists (male) is one weird dude! I think he might be sampling the product. He is unprofessional and inappropriate to say the least. The staff has to be reminded or told or checked on nearly every single time I pick up my medicines. If it weren't for my insurance I would definitely go somewhere else. Gotta love healthcare in this country; and socialized medicine would be bad? Not sure it could get worse. read more

I really like coming here for sundries. Does that sound like an outdated word? Well, the same folks are always here so it's a fab small town, friendly, trust-y, helpfulish store. I have used the pharmacy for the past four years - never a single issue. In fact, I've found them go above and beyond. I could use closer pharmacies, but I stick with CVS for good reason. I've found this CVS to be clean, friendly and efficient. When given the option on my prescription drug insurance to transfer to our local Walmart for $7.00 less per month, I opted to stay at my current CVS in Cottonwood. With their rewards program and many other coupon options, I've found the cost is about the same. Nearly every time I am greeted warmly as I enter the store. The drive-up pharmacy pick-up is very convenient. The store employees are very helpful and professional. I recommend this store! read more

Evan, the manager at CVS, is rude and disrespectful, and yells at customers. A manager should be calm, cool, courteous, diplomatic, helpful and respectful and he should set an example for the employees. Evan is the polar opposite. He brought a female customer to tears in front of staff and other customers. I will not shop here again because of him. read more

Recently i had the occasion to shop at CVS. I found the store to be clean, well stocked, and organized. Furthermore, when i found my regular shopping spots out of stock on an item i use regularly, a CVS staff member was happy to check their shelves to confirm that they had what i was after over the phone. This location continually botches prescription refills. This causes much angst and extra time and money to customers who have to follow up and often return to get prescriptions. The pharmacy supervisor and store manager appear to be unaccountable as reporting problems does not result in any improvements. Aside from recent chaos created by Corona pandemic, this place is normally has empty parking lot, likely due to the below average management of the store and pharmacy as well as very high prices for other store goods. read more

CVS refused to fill my prescription because they said they have to fill all my different prescriptions or none. I was so surprised that they turned my money away. So, they didn't just loose that prescription, but they lost all my business along with my Mother's, husband, sisters and brother-in-laws. Cottonwood, AZ. CVS is the dirtiest store I have ever been in. I had all my prescriptions changed to CVS because my new medicare D prescription plan. I was very OK with that. If you weren't sick before you went in, you are sure to be carrying the Flu virus before you leave. Prescription drop off, pick up, bathrooms, drinking fountain, check out register stations, floors, disgustingly dirty. Yuck!!! I was given an emergency insulin prescription at VA Cottonwood due to the fact I ran out one day before my appointment. I was told to fill it at either Walgreens or CVS. I unfortunately went to Walgreens who informed me it would be ready in an hour and a half which would have been one o'clock. I decided to go grab a leasurly lunch.While at lunch I received a call telling me my script would be delayed. I went home to wait for them to call me. At 4;00 when I was still waiting I decided to go online and see what the holdup was. They informed me They did not receive instruction from the doctor and they were waiting for a fax from him?????? I said this was BS it's freaken insulin. they informed me it was not BS That is what the Cottonwood branch told them. I immediately called the Walgreens Store Pharmacy and she informed me that they were out of stock and they don't have any at any other close Walgreens. Lie #3. I called CVS and explained what happened and to see if they would bee able to help me. They called Walgreens got the script and filled it immediately. Thank You CVS. IOne thing I can not deal with is incompetence and liers The reason I wouldn't vote for OBAMA. (sorry i had to get that in). But as far as I am concerned I will never step foot in Walgreen again.
