I normally get my meds from a CVS in VA. Like an idiot, I got them transferred to this location because I live in the area. Why is the drive thru closed? Why is the pharmacy line all the way to the front of the store? DO NOT GO unless you want to be highly irritated! I have bad sciatica, so I'm unable to stand for a long time. For a second I almost forgot what part of town I was in. I'm not used to being greeted by the sales associates here, much better getting great customer service or even having a pleasant exchange with them. My previous visits here have been purely transactional with little to no engagement from the staff. Just scanning and bagging your items, then sending you on your way. Kitty, on the other hand, was an absolute sweetheart and added a genuine warmth to the store atmosphere. She was kind, affable and extremely helpful at helping me get everything I needed. She was polite, courteous and she wore a smile the whole time I interacted with her. An absolute rarity here. And to think...I was initially dreading having to come to this location to get what I needed. On the contrary, this is probably one of the most pleasant visits to any CVS store I've ever had. I hope to see Kitty's friendly, smiling face here more often. read more

They literally NEVER answer the phones and lines are always super long in pharmacy area. It's a WHOLE PANDEMIC going on. ANSWER THE PHONES to at least let people know something, so unprofessional. So I was looking for some sweet oil for my dad's ear. Decided to stop at CVS to see if they carried it. Checked the aisle for it, no luck. Asked an employee, he didn't know. Asked the pharmacist, they gave me the same aisle I had already looked in. Asked another employee, he is walking while talking to me, telling me if I didn't see it in the aisle it was supposed to be in... They didn't have any. I was just fed up after that, he couldn't even stop to answer a customers question as if he was in a hurry or they had a long line of people waiting. Oh well... I came to this specific pharmacy because my normal pharmacy did not have my medication. I had a paper script which I dropped off and I was told that my medication would be ready in 30 minutes. I purposely returned over an hour later only to be told that it wasn't ready. The pharmacist told me that the medication was lost, but the evening pharmacist would be in at 8 pm which was about a 20 minute wait. How exactly do you lose medication? I chose to return to my regular pharmacy that will order the prescription. This pharmacy is a waste of time and I would avoid it if I were you. read more

Long story short I waited 42 minutes on hold just to get in line and see 4 people working walking pass the phone and only one lady in front of me. Tired. If it doesn't changed it's going to be a great news story. The woman with the dreads could care less and she's in charge. CVS PHARMACY is community member are getting tired. Slow, doesn't pick up there phone or when they do pick up, you're on hold for over an hour (or they disconnect the call purposely) different information given everytime I call, medication never in stock...and while I understand being short staff is a thing ....you could at least apologize for the piss poor service. read more

I posted a review about the dirty CVS on Marlboro Pike and Donnell so I try the one further down on Silver Hill and customer service was great. However, while in the store the speaker kept announcing the callers on hold and I noticed there was no effort from any of the 5 or so people behind the counter to answer the phone. I mentioned to the associate helping me that I hoped they would notify me when my prescription is ready so I don't have to call. She assured me I would get a text since everything went through. Well I called earlier today when I didn't hear from them and had to hang up after about 40 mins. I then received a text at 8pm stating there's a problem so I call and stayed on hold for an hour!!! My call was never answered at 8pm at night so yes I'm furious because when I drive there it won't be ready and I'll have to wait hours or leave and come back. As I stated in my previous post about CVS this would never happen in a white neighborhood! PeriodT!! read more

The absolute worst pharmacy I've dealt with over 30 years now! They treat you like dogs and not human beings! They won't answer the pharmacy calls, a Dr can call in a prescription on Saturday and you wait to pick it up Monday and it's never ready! They are the epitome of why people are dying because they can't get their medicine! Management is poor, employees ignorant and the ones who do know what they're doing are overworked! The area is congested in the evenings. People drive crazily through the parking lot and pedestrians wander around in said parking lot. Be careful not to hit anyone. Too much loitering and loud music at times. Cops were parked out front. Just not an inviting atmosphere. Hopefully, you can find a better located CVS. read more

Very horrible customer service.... when you call the pharmacy no one ever answers. I traveled from Baltimore to this cvs on hold on the phone to find out about my prescriptions. When I got to the store there was two people working and the phone call I was on with them was still ringing. An employee named Annetta, I think she said that was her name. She has dread-locks. She worked the night shift on 10/12/18 @ 9:16pm. She was the worst, very rude, had a very nasty attitude and provided horrible customer service. Annetta needs training on how to speak to customers in a respectful manner. I had a very poor experience while shopping here. I had intentions on using two similar coupons, which the coupon stated I could. I also have done the same thing many times before so it wasn't a learning experience for me. The manager, Ms. Pam was very rude and unprofessional when she attempted to block me from using the coupons. Unlike others, I refused to make a spectical of myself. I told my cashier, Andrew (very kind) who kept apologizing, no worries, I would come back and get the other. About an hour later, I stopped back at the same CVS on my way home. When I walked in, another associate, Samdrea, pointed (yes with her finger), at me and said something to the two customers she was helping. They both turned around and looked at me. Very strange since I had no contact with this associate before and she was not near the desk when I checked out the first time. Slightly embarrassed, but I said nothing. I grabbed my item, and proceeded towards checkout. Before I could even get to the desk, Samdrea said she couldn't take my coupon. I had not even given her the coupon, so I was insulted. I asked why because I just used a similar coupon earlier. She said because Ms. Pam told them not to. She called Ms. Pam to the front. Ms. Pam refused to even acknowledge me. Professional, not even close. She scrutinized my coupon like she did earlier, said some snide remark to Samdrea and told her to take the coupon that one time. The whole time I was trying to figure out what was happening. Tell me what issue you have as the manager. We can speak as adults. If it was me or the coupon, tell me. Samdrea said the manager can change the coupon policy at will. I said that is not what my problem was. My issue was, I was targeted and Ms. Pam is the one with the issue, not me. I said I would just contact corporate, which I did. The coupon wasn't that serious, but her lack of customer service and professionalism was.
