This is a good location and it is open 24 hours which makes it extra convenient. On the last trip I made there I was looking to buy some beauty products that I was running low on and I found everything I needed without a problem. They carry a good variety of health and beauty aids, groceries, medications and so forth. They usually have plenty of staff working so there's always somebody there to help if you need assistance while you're shopping. There is a spacious parking lot outside and parking here is never a problem. The store is usually pretty busy especially during the daytime hours but the cashiers are very efficient and the checkout line always moves right along. read more

This CVS on Morrissey Blvd has the worst customer service.There are often no workers to check you out and the lines can be 7-8 deep. Now they started locking uo everything behind plastic doors. You have to push a button to call a clerk to unlock your items, Then wait. Maybe after 4-5 times pushing the call button someon may saunter over to get your item. All in all a very poorly managed place. But it has been this way for years. read more

I wish these stars could go negative, the customer service has only gone downhill. They had a prescription of mine for a week, online it said filled but they told me they didn't have it. I called multiple times only to be left on hold for 20+ minutes because they "don't answer the phone" and "online isn't accurate". they told me I no longer will get texts on status updates on my prescription either. Wish I could give this zero stars. There is always a long line up front and no self checkout. The pharmacy is even worse. I have never had a medication be on time or w/o some type of issue. The pharmacist is miserable- but I would be too if I were always there alone w/ no tech support and lines of angry people waiting. People get in fights in line because they are so frustrated. I dont feel safe in the store and try to only use the drive up if I can. Trying to contact them on the phone for status updates is useless. I have been on hold for 30 minutes now trying to find out what is going on with a script I ordered 3 days ago. Id rather go back to Milton- or literally anywhere else, to fill my scripts. This a largely minority demographic which makes me wonder if CVS mgmnt doesnt care to staff adequately d/t medical racism. read more

The worst cvs pharmacy ever , i sent my son's prescription from Boston children hospital to thi pharmarcy because i was closer to home but when i come and pick up after 6 hours later , the girl told me it was not there after i read her my son''s name and bod , then i said it was sent from bch this morning , then another was talking from another register saying that they run out of the medication that they were supposed to give to my son and didnt even bother to call or text and i asked when will they have it in stock or can they order again , they said " no " and tell me to call and check other pharmacies then told me to get out of the line , the rudest pharmacist assistant and pharmacist ever! If you have to talk to the pharmacy, be prepared to wait on hold for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Happens routinely.

I usually come in between 2am and 4am to fill perscriptions. There's usually only a few minutes wait, if at all. The pharmacists are helpful and fast. Will be returning. read more

I always come to this location and never have a problem. But tonight i dealt with the rudest employee. According to my receipt her name is Cassandra. She was being very disrespectful and rude to me and my mom. We asked her a simple question. " You guys don't do plastic bags no more"? she replied " well duh its been going on since Friday, are you serious?" and did a sarcastic laugh". Instead of being rude, she should of explain the no plastic bag policy. But instead she wanted to be disrespectful. Her customer service skill is a 0 out of 10 , she is not friendly and doesn't seem like she likes her job. She was probably having a bad day but that has nothing to do with me and the rest of the customers who walk in there. Cassandra if your unhappy and don't like your job, then quit. Im only giving this store 1 star so that I can write this review. This pharmacy is the absolute worst, avoid at all costs. There's no point in the drive thru because your meds are never on time. So you never get to JUST drive thru and pick them up. You wait in a line at the drive thru window just to drop them off. You have to tell them to expedite it so you can get it in a reasonable amount of time (30+ mins). Then you wait for it.... and wait for it.... anddd wait for it. Most inconvenient/inefficient cvs I've ever been too. Always busy no what the hour. Don't plan on ever running in here and getting an item and then leaving. That doesn't exist here. Theres always a line at the cash register and usually only one or two workers in the WHOLE store. I go less than a mile down the street and just use walgreens. Trust me on this. They have a drive thru that never has a line and its efficient. Use their app and things are even quicker! read more

The rudest CVS ever! I came over to take passport photos and was told to find the girl , so I stood in line to get the cashier and then we took a picture. I stood and waited for the pictures to be done when the girl left the paperachine she had troubles with and went back to the cashier stand. Then she was rude toe and my friend who was in line and continued arguing with me that the photos were not her priority and she was doing CVS a favor. Doing a favor to your Employer , really? So I asked for the manager as the girl did not finish anything and just lefte standing next to the register. Not saying that the way she talked toe was improper and loud. Worst cvs I've ever been, and I've been to plenty. Nothing is ever stocked, and it's super frustrating. The only thing that's good about this Cvs is that it's open 24/7. There is no self check out either, and sometime the line can be ridiculous. Save yourself a trip and go somewhere else. Btw, make sure you inspect the products before you purchase it; as things tend to be open and recked. read more

I only come here because it's the 24-hour one. Nothing spectacular. Could be tidier. Gallivan Blvd. is definitely more stocked up and tidy. Gallivan also has more pleasant customer service. This location definitely has the convenience factor down. Being open 24 hours, close to a highway, have a postbox outside, plus next to a liquor store just makes it easy to get everything done. They usually have everything I need but I do notice that there are many empty bins & shelves. I wonder if they do not stock on purpose or their shipment schedule is off. I remember the store going through a renovation not that long back but it did not really change the layout of the store. It tends to be a little messy looking inside & confusing. The finally added a sign so people know where to line up to check out instead of being a free for all like most other locations. The staff tend to be friendly & helpful, even at 3am. I will never shop at the CVS on Quincy Shore Drive again. I went in to get two Pepsi's. They were regular price, I could not find my cvs card which was fine. The pepsi was not on sale. The service clerk seemed disturbed I went to the register to pay. I forgot about the 5 cents per bottle charge. Is I placed the order on my bank card, as I did not have the 8 cents to pay the rest by cash. I then asked for a bag and with a stare he told me twenty cents for the bag. I was never charged for a bag before on a throw away plastic bag. I picked up the paid for pepsis and walked out of the store. it's inexcusable first for the clerk not to be customer friendly and second not to explain that a new policy had beed set up where bags were were to be paid for. What is more disturbing is the clerk's unresponsiveness and no empathy for the customer and not savvy enough to talk with customers. its as if I was inconvenient to him and I was wasting his time. read more

This CVS is greatly located and very convenient, especially that is open 24 hours. My disappointment happen yesterday, when sick I called the pharmacy to check on a prescription. I was placed on hold for a full hour, 60 minutes. I called from another phone to speak to the store manager and he hung up on me. When I called back I was placed on hold indefinitely. I drove to the store with my phone on hold in hand. There wasn't anybody in line and the pharmacy tech did her best to justify why I was on hold for that long without acknowledgement. The manager was nowhere to be found. What a disappointment! Would CVS upper management tolerate this lack of care in their Brookline or Newton location? I think not. I had a good experience at this specific location. I had a cold developing and forgot to get medicine earlier so I went to get medicine at around 11 p.m. so it was great that this CVS is open 24 hours, 7 days a week (can't beat that!) I have had 5 prescriptions filled incorrectly here in the past 18 months. On another occasion I was treated extremely rudely by a Pharmacist. I have complained to Corporate 4 times now, but things have not improved. S'ok. It's CVS in the hood. Neat enough. Not as much selection as other CVS's but oh well. Often only 1 cashier, but they are quick to call for backup when the line is getting long. Sometimes backup takes their sweet time getting to the front, but have always had friendly, polite and helpful cashiers. read more

Cvs's pharmacy staffs are very helpful. It seems like they are always very busy. I hate the phone calls that wakes you up in the morning reminding you to refill your past due medications. They gave me the phone # to cancel calling service but I still get those damn calls. read more

Worst cvs ever, the manager does not even know their coupon policy that they can take 1 manufacture coupon and 1 cvs coupon.... Without even trying, he kept saying the manufacture coupon is not valid.... The Chinese guy, which I believe is the manager never has a smile on his face....
