Other pharmacies treat you like a second class citizen and act like they are doing you a favor just to fill your order. I can drop off an order with MS and they will have it in 5 minutes. None of this "20-30 minutes" line you get at other stores where they want you to shop while you are waiting. Also, Ted will paitiently explain about your medicine and answer any questions you have - without a big lecture. Give this place a try! They act like they WANT and appreciate your business.

Unfortunately, Walgreens and my prescription drug plan no longer have a good relationship, so Walgreens no longer will be able to sell meds to the John H. fam. That's too bad, because selling drugs is really the most important part of being a drugstore.

They will compound prescriptions, deliver locally, and unlike most, will pack up prescriptions in weekly packs for the elderly: CVS and Walgreens would not do this for my mother. They have some minor issues with paperwork and whatnot, but it's more than worth a minor hassle since a) they provide service the monster chains do not and b) they are locally owned an operated. It's Walmart ! Not too much to say. I did find some new fragrance soaps I'm interested in, some…read moresmell good scrubs, great desserts and fresh veggies and fruit. This store was very crowded and too much inventory being moved around during business hrs in my opinion. Every direction was a new bed of items being pushed in your direction. My shopping experience was pretty much dodging the inventory staff and moving out the way. This store needs and overnight inventory shift . The positive of this is at least the product is coming in at this location. Others stores I have been too shelves are bare!!! Guess with that being said I'll shut up and be more appreciative of workers and inventory :)

I'm disappointed that their refills cartridges aren't universal so i can use them with my other plug bin. So i have to either buy Walmart's plug in or just use the oil in my oil burner. The workers were friendly. I didn't like that they were restocking or moving product around during busy store hours and on a Saturday. They should wait until later in the day to move product around and restock.

Making it a great place to stop by when paying your property taxes, or when you're doing your jury duty. I'm glad to see that they are a proud server of Plaid Coffee. So many other shops use the same local roaster or one from St. Louis, so it is nice to see that they give us a Scottish touch roasted in small batches. I enjoyed an iced coffee. When I drink hot coffee, I drink it black. However, when it is iced, I need a little packet of Splenda and a splash of milk. To accompany my iced coffee, I enjoyed a Mini Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread. I was torn between a blueberry danish, blueberry muffin and the mini bread. When I asked the cashier for guidance, he recommended the pumpkin bread because it was a seasonal special. He said, the other two were always available and could enjoy them on another visit. To be honest, the mini Pumpkin Bread with Chocolate Chips did not impress me. I found it to be dry and the pumpkin flavor was faint, but it was chuck full of chocolate chips. Next time I'm at the courthouse paying the next installment of property taxes, I'll stop by again and try one of the blueberry treats. I think I may even grab one of the loaves of bread they had on sale.

If you're having a latte, why not go whole hog and enjoy that whole milk. The rich fullness of whole milk, adds to the flavor. Looking at their pastry case, it was hard for me to choose. However, once my eyes saw the Pizza Scone, I wanted a savory treat over a sweet. The scone was full of flavor, but a little on the dry side. After a couple bites, the dryness did not bother me, because the flavor was so good. Scared Grounds is located on the Main drag in downtown Edwardsville, so next time you're in town, be sure to stop by.

The burnt ends were a little dry, but can be forgiven because it was near the end of the night. We were checked on frequently, drinks refilled. Then we had the opportunity to meet Susan, the owner. If you don't know Susan was a competition BBQ'r for many years before opening her restaurant with her husband and you can see all her trophies and ribbons in the room She graciously bought us some bread pudding and gave me a little secret about it! If you think this is anything other than spectacular there is something wrong with your pallet. We have eaten around the world in some very high end restaurants and that gave us as much satisfaction and joy as many a dessert. Delicious. My husband was trying to be good but sadly had to finish the lot Lovely experience, delicious BBQ. Not as smoky as Texas which is what we are more familiar with but we enjoyed it a lot.
