Will never buy a gift card here again. I purchased $100 Amazon gift card and found it had been compromised so could not use it. CVS will not refund my money I didn't know they do not guarantee gift cards they sell. Very frustrating! read more

Yikes!!! Came to refill my prescription for my son to find out they may have given me the wrong medication before. To make matters worse they couldn't fill my sons allergy medicine. I was so happy they opened this chain here, but looks like I'm going back to Walgreens. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. The pharmacy guy says, he's ok these weren't bad medications. Just called to check on my meds. The automated system said it would take like 3 weeks so I asked to be connected to the pharmacy. Once she picked up and told her I wanted a status. She says under her breath OMGGGGG. Like it was a huggeeee deal that I was calling about that. And don't even bother asking them where you can get the over the counter meds the Dr gives you because all they will do it point at the isle. Waste of humans. Complete trash. The pharmacy is always complaining about being understaffed. They tell you your prescriptions will be ready in 2-3 hours so you go back 5.5 hours later and they tell you they haven't even started the prescriptions yet but they will have them ready that night. So you wait 18 hours after the prescriptions have been sent by the doctor and they tell you they haven't even started them again. Then again they tell you they are short staffed. Why make excuses when there are a good 12 ppl behind the pharmacy counter, how is that short staffed. The staff is very rude, non-caring, and hate their jobs it seems with how they act and treat patients. Choose another CVS if you have a choice because this one is total trash!!! read more

No notice that the pharmacy changes hours from 24 hours to closing at 9am. The thing is I went the the day before to see if my sons seizure was ready, the told me it will be ready today. They did send a text that it was ready. When I went by at 9:05 pm they were closed. You would think that at least the pharmacy could have sent a text saying what there new hours are. When I went in and asked the shift supervisor of the store, he said to bad, you should switch to Walgreens. Now I prey that my son does not have a seizure tonight or it's to the ER. CVS is easily the nicest convenience store around this neighborhood, the selection is really good, the prices are a tad higher than most places, but not a whole lot. In most cases CVS and Walgreens are pretty much interchangeable, however the Wedgewood Walgreens is well past its prime, making shiny, new CVS a significant upgrade over its cross-street competitor. I've always been a fan of CVS's selection, particularly the CVS store brands, and this store doesn't disappoint, from candy to OTC health items, they have a lot of options. I have to buy first-aid bandaging supplies on a regular basis, and both Target and Wal-Mart discontinued their store brands last year, so having relied on CVS in other cities for these items, I'm happy to have easy access to them again (I know there are other CVS locations, neither of which is convenient for me). The store itself is very well laid out, the aisles are much more comfortable and browseable than similar places, noticeably so, as is the spacious parking lot. I think it's great that El Paso is getting more CVS stores, keep 'em coming! read more

I've been coming to this pharmacy for a while now. I didn't have any problems with it until last year. If I could rate this pharmacy 0 Stars I would. Every time I come to pick up a prescription, they NEVER have it ready! I come approximately 4 hours after my doctors visit so I could give them time. and even then, they do not have it ready. So I started coming 6 hours later to give them more time and of course they would tell me, oh sorry it's not ready. Please come back in a hour. This past time they did not have my antibiotics ready till 3 days. I've been very sick so this was the last straw for me. Don't waste your time coming here, go to another pharmacy read more

Went to the pharmacy drive through window after 10 p.m. and pressed button so they would know someone was at the window. But the gentleman working just looked at me and had me wait 11 minutes. He was not on the phone and not with someone at the front counter. I hate this pharmacy the only reason I use it is because they partnered up with my insurance but I miss Walgreens like you would not believe. I order my refills by the app. When I come get them when they say that they will be ready they never are. Today I came 3 days later and when I get here Oh what a surprise they are not ready. I couldn't wait for the CVS to open a location near me and my first experience didn't turn out very favorable. went in to have the photos from phone copied on to disk something I have done at the other place many times when i arrived the employee asked me if i brought my phone cables so I could connect my phone to her equipment the other place supplies the phone cord so i guess i just need to go to the other place. read more

really bad service in pharmacy, I went to get a refill for my prescriptions and this rude pharmacist told me that I had no refills but my doctor had called in earlier and spoke to them about my prescription, and the pharmacist told me no one called, he could have asked other pharmacist but he refused to do so, I was the one asking the other pharmacist for my prescriptions and finally did give me my refills I'm so dissapointed, never ever going back read more

I just got back from shopping at CVS on wedgewood and McRae. I had the must f*#ked up experience. There was this employee that just kept following everybody around and this guy made it so obvious he made me feel so uncomfortable. And i know that stores will always have shoplifting problems what's why they have undercover people that look after the store properly. But this moron trying to be a "Secret Agent" just plainly suck the customers were all making comments how stupid he was. To start of this genius was wearing his CVS shirt and he was quite a large person no offense to anybody. A legally blind person would have spotted him and I wear glasses and I didn't wear them tonight and I was able to notice him. One lady thought he was some kind of pervert. And what I noticed that this guy was in no shape to chase anybody, he might have had a heart attack after 5 yards of chasing somebody. Advice to CVS get the right person to do the right job, if you want the same business that Walgreens has.
