My husband went to urgent care this past week. He has an ulcer on his foot that got infected. The doctor called him something to this pharmacy. When my husband went to pick up his prescription the pharmacist caught that the prescription the doctor called in was something my husband was highly allergic to. The pharmacist caught this online through my husband's online account. This same account the doctor should have seen. If the pharmacist wouldn't have caught this my husband could have had a bad outcome. So thank you for the pharmacist who caught this! The doctor should have seen this online as well! Always a sale or discount employees ready to help you , you are greater as you enter the store

While I in the store waiting in line after I was in line 2 lanes opened a guy and his girlfriend came in front of me and the cashier said I got you man said excuse me I was next in line he said that's my boy and he told me to come up here to him I need to exchange this out for a bigger bag. I have heard this pharmacy has some rude people, and the reviews are not very good. Wonder if they (Corporate) are taking this serious or not. Sounds like things are not getting much better here. Perhaps they don't care, or are just ignoring the complaints. Or maybe, it's because they are one of the very few 24 hr. Stores in the area. I am sorry to hear of Companies treating the public like this. If not for the people, they would have no business, no income, and no employees. As for me, I have not experienced this type of behavior from CVS Pine Avenue, and I have to say, they have been quite the opposite to me. I have found them to be courteous, helpful, and timely when filling scripts. If you are unsatisfied, the best thing is to find another pharmacy to fill your needs. The pharmacist, Michael wouldn't refill my wife's prescription at midnight the day it was due, because he had "a lot of other prescriptions to fill" and he said he was "the only one here". Even though the prescription was called in hours and hours beforehand. He was kind of rude. What is the point of CVS being a 24hr pharmacy, if you cannot pick up your prescription at your convenience, with several hours notice? Seems like that wouldn't make Michael a very competent worker. How many more hours notice did he need? This wouldn't happen at another pharmacy. Don't go go CVS! read more

Had a disagreement with Pharmacist at CVS, 3800 Pine Avenue, Erie, PA 3/12/18 a.m. She refused to give family member a shot and threw us out. She refused to give us her name and/or other personnel in the pharmacy would not give us her name so that we could complain. How convenient? First of all they get everything mixed up in this pharmacy. I went there three days ahead to have issues resolved for this a.m. I was told on Friday that yes they do have serum for shot, no family member doesn't need a new script for this shot as they already have first one on file and no we don't have to pay a copay or payment for shot. When we get there this a.m., the first thing the clerk says is we don't do these shots or have them. I had to speak up and say I was just here on Friday and was told you have shot in refrigerator. Then she started to process our paperwork. We were unsure if she was going to get family member right shot or not after this. Thereafter we went to register and another clerk said this was going to be over $160. I said we were told Friday there was to be no charge because you have a doctor now and the protocol went through. Pharmacist then got in argument with me over this. Then just to make sure he was getting right shot, I ask which shot was she giving him. She made a smart ass remark, You tell me? I guess she got pissed because I ask this and then refused to give family the shot at all. Sorry but this is a double check system I use. Really don't think CVS should be permitted to give any shots because their pharmacists don't really want to do this and they are too busy filling scripts to bother with doing shots. I'll probably never get this family member to get this 2nd booster now. read more
