I do not recommend this pharmacy. I went with my dad to pick up some medicine, and I dread going more and more each time. When we arrived, there were only 3 cars in front of us. It took only a couple of minutes for the first car to pass by, but as the second car pulled up, it was at least 20 minutes. (We watched the clock). Then, the third car pulled up, and they must have been chatting about their life's story, because about 10 minutes passed and we finally finally finally got to the window. I have been a customer of this pharmacy for over ten years. It is honestly the worst and I finally felt compelled to switch and I could not be happier. They *never* answer their phones. The other day I drove down to their location while I was on hold for *30 minutes* just to find there was NO line. Just one guy being helped. But there was an announcement on the intercom "Three pharmacy calls". They were just ignoring the phones for no reason. When I asked why this was they got super defensive and rude about it. They don't care about you and your need for your prescriptions. Take your money somewhere else. read more

I have been having prescriptions filled at this pharmacy for over three years. I've tried to show grace to them because they seem to have a stressful and busy job. But I'm done. I am willing to accept a certain level of poor service because they have something I literally need (my meds). However, when they allow people who are not competent to work in a busy pharmacy, it is wrong. It's wrong for the customer and it's wrong for the employee. I have tried to check on my prescription for two days. I am placed in the recording loop and a pharmacist never comes to the phone. As soon as I get through, I am moving my prescriptions and my husband's as well. If I do not get through, which is probably, I will stop by. Horrible service. Apparently, the pharmacist is not taking calls this week. All they care about is hawking their vaccines! Check out is very slow... Employee at cash register clearly not happy to be there, so seems like she was purposely going as slow as she could to make everyone wait as long as she could. I guess it's her little slice of control in the world during the holiday season. read more

I have been using CVS for my pharmacy for sometime. Recently they have changed their phone system to voice, instead of phone prompts. It took me five times for it to understand my refill prescription number, and three more times to get the process completed. This turned out to be a very bad idea and should at least allow the consumer to choose which way they want to proceed. read more

This pharmacy is horrible. The staff is extremely rude and non caring people. The pharmacist told me they were out of my medication and had no idea when they would receive it. I asked them if any other CVS pharmacy had it in stock. I was told it was on back order from the manufacture which turned out to be a lie. The Cedar Bluff store had it in stock and knew nothing about a shortage. Its bad when you have to drive across town because someone doesn't want to do their job, what a terrible attitude. I'm forced to do business with CVS due to my insurance. I cant wait till we change January 1 2019. read more

I went in to the CVS on Kingston pike looking for an Arnold Palmer and some M&Ms, but I left the store with much, much more. As soon as I entered through the convenient automatic doors, I was welcomed with a warm smile and a, "Hello!" that told me I was home. I asked where the drinks were, and although he was busy stocking, my new friend Erik took me to the coolers and made me feel at ease with some stimulating conversation. He was charming, helpful, and truly made my time spent in the store a joy. I will be going back very soon completely because of him. I think that he is the kind of person that I would be proud to call a friend; he would be the friend that would pick you up at 3 A.M. no questions asked. Erik has made me a CVS man, and I look forward to seeing him and the store soon. read more
