I have been filling my prescriptions here for over ten years and will not go anywhere else! Always helpful, timely and friendly.

How does a busy pharmacy justify closing for lunch? It's frustrating to arrive, only to find the entire pharmacy shut down in the middle of the day. Has the ego of doctor's offices started to rub off on pharmacists now? Beyond the inconvenient hours, why is there only one person running the pharmacy? And to make matters worse, that person is consistently rude. Customers deserve better service and a pharmacy that values their time. While this location might be close to home, until CVS remembers that customers are important, I'd recommend finding a different pharmacy! read more

This is now my 'go to' CVS. The pharmacy staff here is exceptional. They are knowledgable, friendly, professional and everything you would want for your medical needs. They have a great team concept here which is why they get 4 stars from me. They all seem to work hard to get to the customers waiting, those on the phone and filling the prescriptions. read more

I've been a loyal customer since 2001 until today. My doctor faxed in a prescription two weeks ago. I came to the drive-through a couple days after the prescription was sent in to pick it up. When I go through the drive-through they tell me that I prescription isn't ready and that they are understaffed. I understand during these times that they were staffing issues and I'm patient. So I wait a week and a half to come get my prescriptions since I understand staffing is an issue it would give them the time to fill the prescription. When I get there today, miraculously, they don't have the prescription and they're asking me to have my doctor resend it. Though the last time I came through, it wasn't ready. Please understand this is not the first, second, third, fourth, fifth or sixth time this is happened over the years. I am a very understanding person but on this day I could not help but be very frustrated. I have now wasted multiple trips on my time to pick up a prescription that was supposed to be ready for me two weeks ago. I go through the hoops to have my doctor resubmit the prescription again. I return to the store for a second time today to get my prescriptions. While I was picking up my prescriptions the pharmacist asked if there was any questions I had. I asked her to remove all of my information out of their system as I am no longer going to be a customer anymore. She then gave me an attitude because of my frustration from my earlier visit. She told me that "Oh, I saw you in here earlier" and " you're gonna need to call corporate to have that taken care of". I explained that no, I am not going to call anybody you're going to take care of this for me. As I stood there waiting for her to complete my request she gave me even more attitude that I was just going to stand there and watch her. I explain to her that yes I am going to watch her complete my request. She then asked me to leave the store and this was her place of work and I shouldn't be just standing there watching her. Someone needs to help her understand that I am a customer and the middleman here. My doctor did his part by sending in my prescription. But on multiple occasions over several years this pharmacy miss places, loses, deletes or whatever happens between the doctor faxing the prescription and the pharmacy not getting it. Come to find out several people in my neighborhood as well as a few other friends in the area have all had the same experience at this location. So if any management at this location sees this review... kindly ask that you review the management of your pharmacy and their ability to take care of customers properly. As a customer I should not hear people behind the counter complaining about having 500 prescriptions piling up and having to put people in front of other people to take care of them while they're at the counter. Very unacceptable and something a customer does not need to hear. I do understand it staffing is an issue right now but it should not be something that you need to be complaining about and letting customers feel the same thing when they're trying to get their prescriptions that they've been prescribed by the doctor and are paying for. CVS Pharmacy - The problem - Drugstores Near Me - FORT MILL, South Carolina

This CVS is one of the lesser customer service oriented pharmacies in Fort Mill. The waits time for prescription refills take a long time and the overall attitude is one of "not my job". The store isn't that clean and up to date. The hours for the pharmacy are short, so this is not a 24 hour location. Actually, there are few 24 hour pharmacies in the area so really no big deal. Overall, there are friendlier, cleaner, customer service oriented pharmacies around and I would definitely recommend those any day. However, there are certain products that may be on sale here and that's what keeps me coming back. read more

If there was any way I could give this place "negative" stars, I would! Worst pharmacy EVER. MULTIPLE times our doctors have called in or faxed over prescriptions, only to have to pharmacy tell us they didn't have anything. Have sat on hold on the phone for over an hour many times. Once, my husband went to the store to find out why I was still sitting on hold, and was told they don't answer the phone because if they did, they "wouldn't be able to fill prescriptions." Their incompetency has put me in the ER TWICE. Have moved all rx's to another pharmacy. read more

This review is based solely on the drive thru, this is the closest pharmacy that takes our insurance. Unfortunately, they are less than 50% at having the prescription that they just texted that they have. Either they haven't started the process or the paper work is not correct and they need additional info from your provider or the doctor. read more

The ONLY reason I visit here is because my insurance forces me to. I was using the Walgreens just a mile up the road but sadly, my insurance would not support that. Why? No idea. Some partnership BCBS has with CVS. No benefit to the patrons in this area. There is another CVS on the opposite side of town but I have no reason to go over that direction, so I don't. Honestly, their service isn't much better. The individuals up front are actually fairly pleasant. The 'welcome to CiCi's' style greeting, is a little much, but at least it's a greeting. The building itself is kept and usually stocked well but the pharmacy staff is of no use to anyone. I visit often enough to notice several changes in personnel. I'm not sure if they realize how poor their service standards are or if it's due to a cyclical training for new techs, but I rarely see the same people more than 3 times. I have to call my prescription in and speak to a tech or pharmacist. To do that, I'm often on hold more than 10 min. The hold music isn't even interesting enough to bop along to. I understand some struggles and there does seem to be an overwhelming population for only 4 pharmacies (though Walgreens keeps up). Just wish there was a way around using either CVS in my area. Both are poorly managed and just need an upgrade in all aspects. read more

Went in for a passport photo, they claim to provide that service, but 2 employees and 30 minutes later the photo was rejected by the passport office. They offered to charge me again full price for the reshoot, but once was enough for me, thanks. CVS on 160 rarely has the ability due to equipment and the Walgreen on Pleasant isn't much better. Better off finding somewhere else if you need this service. read more

This pharmacist Randy is the worst!! And Cheryl the technician was awful too! I had them pull a prescription from Publix because with my insurance, if I used CVS I was allowed to pick up 3 months at a time. Picked up my prescription 2 weeks before needing it, never checked it (my fault for waiting till the last min to notice). Generic brand was different, understandable. The day I needed to take it, I opened it to find it was different. I called, Cheryl (or whatever her name is) she told me to bring it back. I did. They insisted it was the correct prescription. I was confused how bc it was NOT. They gave me a copy of the prescription they received. Randy then came to the window to assist. He also insisted it was correct. I showed them the empty prescription I had and explained the difference from what I was receiving from Publix. He insisted I do not take it then and to let them return it and to contact my provider. That was not an option for me. I left and said I would hold onto it until I spoke to my doctor. I left and called my insurance and spoke with a pharmacist. Received clarity on the generic and prescription types. Went back to CVS with clarity and awareness that it was in-fact incorrect (there was a number "24" that they missed when dispensing my prescription). Advised them of this and whom I spoke to and asked for the specific brand and dose my prescription was for. They realized I was right and did not have the one I needed in stock. Never got an apology, no empathy at all!! They transferred it to a CVS that had it in stock and took the incorrect prescription back. They were wrong!! They were unkind and had an attitude with me like I was crazy. They were lazy and gave me the incorrect prescription!!!!!! How is this ok? Never even acknowledge their fault in filling my prescription. What if this were a slight difference that could've been life threatening to my health?! You do not want to trust them with your prescription!! read more

They said my script would cost $60. I told them it should be $10. They told me to call my insurance and figure it out. I asked them if they could do it because if I called, and my insurance said $10 but they still said $60, what would be the next step. They called my insurance and it was $10 but cvs couldn't figure out their computer system so they told me I could pay $60 or go somewhere else. I obviously went somewhere else. read more

Ok. Let me set the stage. My husband had oral surgery and I stopped here to have his pain med prescription filled. The customer service in the pharmacy department is not good. I handed my husbands insurance card to the clerk who apparently cannot read because she input the number wrong and told me I had to contact our health provider becausue they would not approve this transaction...mind you that my husband is in pain at this point. I did indeed call my health provider who said the clerk had put the incorrect number in... I called CVS and they put the order through and said they would call me when the order was ready...after waiting 30 minutes I drove back to CVS and asked if the prescription was ready and she said "yes, it has been ready for awhile"! I could not even deal with her without getting angry...I will not deal with the pharmacy department again! read more

They have improved over the past couple of months. I see some new faces and they have been helpful. Very busy pharmacy though and getting prescriptions filled promptly is not their strongest attribute. read more

This is the last time I get my prescriptions here. When I asked for one of my prescriptions to be filled the lady told me they wouldn't have it til Monday with me currently being pregnant that was not going to cut it... ( this is not the first time this has happened) I then said I would call Walgreens, she put me on hold then came back and said they magically had it... I'm not buying it... Walgreen's seems like a much better option for me. I would recommend NOT coming to this CVS!!!! read more

Pharmacists here are very unhelpful. They even make it a point to make sure you know when they feel slighted. They do not care about customer service at all. They want to pass things off to make it seem as if it is not their fault, they take no responsibility and try to rectify the situation at all. read more

Possibly the dirtiest drug store we have ever visited. Maybe they should sell vacuums so they might use one.
