    Good country breakfast 8/2/19

Fresh and made to order, great price and quality, while you wait! I stopped in on Friday morning for a made to order country breakfast. I had 2 eggs over easy, wheat toast, grits and liver mush with coffee, all for about $ 5 bucks. How can you not be a fan?

Bacon Cheeseburger ATW(All the way) with fries.

This place is ALWAYS on point. The food is quick, hot and reasonable. They have A breakfast and lunch menu as well as a full convenience store. Whether you live near by or are just passing through this is a great LOCAL spot to spot for some food. Highly recommend. You can call in and order ahead, or order once inside. Also great craft beer selection in the cooler.

We sat outside in the heated are at the bar and shared the egg roll appetizers which were very good and plenty for 2 to share. Michelle had the shrimp tacos and I had the build your own salad. The service was great even though it was so busy they told us the kitchen was backed up with orders. It was all good though, a great way to wind down the day with great food and excellent service.

But it seems we had three large families walked in shortly before us. So the wait staff was stretched thin but the manager and our waitress both apologized for any delay. Once we got seated and our drink orders taken things moved more swiftly. The restaurant itself was nice. Lots of tables and booths also a big bar you can sit at including a large outdoor area. To start we got a sweet tea and I tried one of their spiked milkshakes! The sweet tea was just right and the milkshake was very good. A nice hit of alcohol in it with real chucks of ice cream! As usual for me, I had to try the Chicken and waffle sandwich! There were pieces of bacon in the batter that made the waffle and a large piece of deep fried chicken. The sandwich ate a bit dry so I asked for some syrup to pour over the waffle. It did come with a maple aioli but I just prefer regular syrup. The hand cut fries were thick but hot and fully cooked. Very good! My mom ordered the build your own burger instead of getting one of their many signature burgers. Her meal came thick and stacked and juicy! An amazing looking burger and she loved the onion strings. Next time I go back I think I wanna try The Wanderer burger because it looks very good! We also ordered a burger to go for my dad and our waitress was so good, she put the order in as our meals came out, so when we finished the togo burger came out and it was super hot! Amazing service! Fun place to eat with lots of options! Check it out!

The atmosphere and the view were absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing, and the drinks were fantastic. Our server, Yeti, was outstanding. He was incredibly attentive to detail, explained the menu so well, had so much patience with us, and suggested wonderful dishes for us to try. You can really tell he cares about giving guests a great experience. I was a little worried that because it was Mother's Day we might feel rushed, but not at all. Everything felt relaxed, welcoming, and thoughtfully paced. The manager was also so friendly and kind, which made the experience even more special. We left so impressed and happy. I would recommend this place 100 times over, and I definitely can't wait to come back -- and ask for Yeti again! Wow... just amazing!

Very disappointed in what Napa has become…read more. I am never one to post things like this because I work in the service industry. I know people and places have their off days and am very understanding. With that said, I'm actually appalled with the way my parents were treated at Napa today on their anniversary. Back story- I ate at Napa 6 years ago for my prom dinner in a large group and everything was great, so i recommended they go there. Unfortunately for them, there's been major changes and apparently for the worse. They came in and were offered a toast for their anniversary. They were the only table in there and service already seemed pretty slow. After receiving the complimentary wine and bread, they asked about the mussels. The server came back a while later (again no one else to be served in there) and told them the mussels needed to be shucked and couldn't be served... I feel like I don't even have to explain why that seems like a blatant lie, when specifically Napa's mussels are served in the shell (steamed) and not shucked. I could be wrong about that, I don't work in Napa's kitchen, but the real problem was after that. The server then never came back after 20-30 minutes. My parents sat there debating "should we leave, should we stay?"... Ultimately deciding to leave, they ran into the server on the way out. To keep the peace, they told him that something came up and they had to go. This server, knowing it was their anniversary, and knowing he just blatantly ignored them, responded with "yeah we already heard y'all talking about it" ?????? I'm sorry, what? You knew they were wondering where you were at, overheard them talking about it, and never went back over to do your job? Absolutely unacceptable and I am so truly embarrassed to have recommended Napa to them. This was their 2nd anniversary and they wanted to try something new. They originally had reservations at The Pump House, and those were canceled because of the weather. I told them they could try Napa, it's owned by the same people, and I had a great experience. Like I said, I know people and places have off days, but there is no fixing this experience for them. They never want to go back after being treated like they weren't wanted. Feels like a problem from the top down. I hope no one else's anniversaries are ruined because of managers who aren't paying attention to the floor they're supposed to be running. Edited - They are not still owned by the same people, but that is what I had thought originally when recommending.

It was a bit chilly so we sat inside even though the outside patio was heated. It was a good choice because it was a little breezy. We shared the okra as an appetizer, it was as good as I remembered! They had a special which we both decided was good, surf & turf with NY strip and lobster tail. I also brought a bottle of Freixnet Cordon Negra which was so good! We were a bit disappointed that the steak we ordered as medium rare, came out rare on both our entrees. Overall it was a memorable evening and just what I had hoped for a special occasion!

Waitress just didn't follow up. My water sat unrefilled for a long time. Fried okra didn't taste like okra - but that suited a few of the party. But a few of us expected okra flavor only to be disappointed. Temp on the fried green tomatoes should have been warmer but overall it was very tasty. Our appetizer empty plates sat for a while - we even stacked them so it was clear they should be cleared. Ordered the salmon, which was good, but so did my mom. We ordered different temps and they couldn't tell which was which. Wife ordered a salad and for the price, there was barely anything there. Mac and cheese is still the star. Oysters were decent - I expected larger. The half chicken was a generous portion - nice crispy outside but a bit dry inside. I wouldn't order it (I almost did, but my one of our party did). One of our party ordered a stuffed leeks and it was so salty it was inedible. They did fix it and admitted it should have never left the kitchen. By the time the replacement came out it was after 6:05 (and they had to leave at 6:15). So they didn't get to eat their celebratory meal with the rest of us. Not the memory you want for a meal. Desserts were good. Tort was dense - honestly not sure if that's normal. Crème brûlée was very good. For a $400+ experience and our history with Pump House, I expected more.

The décor and vibe give the place a lot of personality, and it made for an enjoyable dinner date for me and my wife. Service was excellent during our visit. Our server was incredibly pleasant, attentive, and full of great suggestions. The beer selection was another highlight, with an extensive set of choices. The only small downside was my wife's wings. She wasn't thrilled with the sauce she chose, which was a bit of a letdown, but everything else we tried hit the mark. I had the 18xx Chicken Sandwich (minus the bun). Glad I went without the bun because that thing would have been a bit of a beast to try and eat as a sandwich. Overall, it's a great spot with a cool atmosphere, and an impressive beer lineup. I feel comfortable recommending though I'd likely try a steak or burger option.

She was friendly but slow on service. We didn't get one of the appetizers we ordered. It wasn't worth asking about it. Food: Pretzel- yum! Very good! Burger- yummy. The fries were good. Fish and chips- the fish itself was good. Little thick on the batter. Shepherds pie- meh. The sauce was a bit anemic looking. Flavor lacked depth. It was ok. My husband makes better at home. Great beer selection. My fluffernutter cocktail was great. Overall- it's a fine place. I don't think we would go back.
