I had called the pharmacy first and they stuck by the price and said I had a price increase. I called the insurance company and the one med still had a zero cost and the other was overcharged by $4.03. It's not a lot of money, but when you add up $9.93 or more here and there, from many people, it can add up to a lot of extra money for Wegmans. This isn't the first time that this has happened to my husband and me. Many seniors don't question their bill amount and they just pay it. I'm not trying to put Wegmans down, I just want to make people aware, not only seniors to ask if the pricing doesn't seem right. Call your insurance company if you have already paid for the meds, to get a refund of the difference. Don't be afraid to speak up. It's your money that you're saving.

The pharmacy was clean and the staff followed all of the COVID-19 protocols to the letter. My registration was processed promptly and efficiently. The pharmacist was solicitous and made sure I didn't have an allergic reaction. My second shot was scheduled before I left. I've heard horror stories about the disorganization that plagues some vaccination sites and I would encourage anyone who needs a shot to check out the Acme on Byers Lane in Concordville.

High prices, crowded stores, busy layouts…read more This is a relatively small store that has the core essentials, including a pharmacy with friendly staff. Some things that I like: this CVS shares a parking lot area with Wawa, making it convenient to pickup gas or snacks in a single trip. Also there is a one-hour photo printing service here. The print quality is mediocre--muddy colors and not crisp--but it's great in a pinch. I needed some photos to put on magnets to visit relatives, and this was very clutch to order them from my phone and pickup at CVS within the hour. That is the primary draw to this store for me.
