Updating my review.... changing from 1 star to 5 stars…read more After I posted this review, very quickly afterwards, I recieved a call from Meijer Store Director Miranda who apologized and asked for details, time, she checked the camera, called me back with an update, she took care of the situation. She informed me this is not the Meijer way, and she appreciated the review so they can solve the issues. Because of Miranda's kind heart, and willingness to call, look at the camera, investigate, and resolve, I will continue to be a loyal customer at Meijer, and hope the rest of you do as well. This was the worst experience I have seen or encountered at Meijer and there is no way I can just say nothing at all and never go back to this store. I will switch my medocations to another pharmacy and no longer shop at this store if customers are now going to be treated like I saw today. I had Jen L. Wait on my husband and myself for tickets. Prior to waiting on us, she was talking crap about the person ahead of me in line, loud enough where we all could hear her. In the mean time I recieved awful customer service, alot of standing around waiting, alot of bad attitiude from Jen L. check your cameras at the Goshen Indiana Meijers. In the mean time the other woman took at the custlmer service desk was helping an elderly man who came in to pay a bill, he gave her the slip, gave her $400 and told her the amount he wanted to pay, she refused to listen to him. I heard him myself telling her while I was waiting on Jen L., and then the other customer service person put the mans entire $400 on his bill instead of paying the amount he asked, then she informed him, its too bad, she couldnt give him any of his money back. He was upset but handled it much better than I would have, then instead of finishing up with me, Jen L. Starts bad talkimg the elderly man as if he was the one in the wrong. What if that was all the money that elderly man had for the month and now doesn't have groceries for the month? Your evil ungodly Meijer employees didn't care. Appaently good customer service is a thing in the past at Meijer.

I noticed the socks came up $4-$5 MORE. So I had my kids go back to take a photo for proof to show Karen... I mean BECKY... and she said she needed a more clear photo to match it up With what I rang up. CLEARLY, in the photo my kids took, it had a HUGE red sale sign and the entire rack was filled! but NOOOOO. becky couldnt NOT argue. so I told her to have an employee go look this time because I'm not gunna have kids kids go back again for the THIRD time! so she got upset and said "well, then you're just gunna have to go to customer service and they can ring you up for the socks because I cant leave self checkout" I replied saying " no, I dont want TWO separate transactions I want It all on the same transaction, so I'll just have customer service ring it all up for me" becky said "they won't do that for you and there is no manager that is here to help you" so I replied saying "oh yes they will, and I took my cart and went to customer service where there were TWO PPL not helping A single customer !! "ok good" firew didn't ask any questions , I showed him proof on my phone and BAM he fixed it , now., why was that so hard for BECKY to do for me? over $4 she's gunna get a bad review and a very angry customer... not worth it!
