    Thank goodness!

I really like this CVS. Not only are the employees always friendly, they're helpful too. They've saved me money on various occasions with giving advice about coupons and the pharmacists offering to help with rebates. Any time I need laundry detergent, milk, pantry items or cereal, this is the place to come. I especially like when they run sales on their cereal. Their seasonal items are fun too, especially for Halloween and Valentine's Day. This CVS is definitely the place to be year-round!

Pharmacist treated me like I was an idiot and was just all around rude. I'll drive further to a different pharmacy next time.

Anyway, the pharmacist outright lied to me on more than one occasion. One of her medications has to be special ordered. We usually call a week in advance to get it refilled. The week before Christmas, we called on Sunday, December 17th. I was told he was ordering it while on the phone with me. It was supposed to be in the following day. Called back on Thursday to see if was ready. Of course it wasn't! It had not even been ordered yet! It took them til the 27th to finally order and receive the medication. Sadly, there was none taken over a 10 day period. It's a vital prescription that one has to have, or, taper down on it, while starting a new drug in the same category. This is not the first time I've been lied to, but, it is definitely the last! It doesn't help if you use the drive through or go in. The pharmacy staff are slow, and borderline rude. Inside, there are two cash registers for the pharmacy. One young lady stood at one, after she had helped her customer. Six people were ahead of me in line, as well as two more behind me. Instead of calling out to help the next customer, she pulled out her cell phone, and was totally focused on it. As she was rather large, the staff had to keep turning sideways, and, still, they bumped her in the crowded pharmacy. I'll prepay online, and just give them the code that is generated. It still takes a half an hour on average, whether they're busy or not, to collect a medication or more. And, if you are there to pick up your prescriptionS, as well as ones for someone at the same address, bring a book, sleeping bag, and pillow. (Yes, that is plural for both of us to get ours. I usually have a couple, and he has three, for two drugs in a three month cycle, while refilling three additional prescriptions every ninety days. To me, it seems as if they could alphabetize the prescriptions by last name, and put each person's together. Nope. Apparently not smart enough for that. In the past, I've insisted that there were X amount more, and get a lecture on how there weren't any additional scripts. After looking at the computer, they see that there are more. No apologies for raising their voice at you. HEPPA is definitely violated at that point. Count your prescriptions BEFORE you pull forward in the drive through, or move to the side to allow another customer to be so nicely helped. Otherwise, they make you go to the back of the slow line, before they will help you again. Another tip? If your doctor sends in a prescription for somewhat needed, in my case, it was antibiotics, at different times, call them beforehand, to let them know you want it filled. If an important, medication like antibiotics are time sensitive, they won't bother filling them when it is received. And, I am on birth control, too. You know the routines of when/how to take it. You shouldn't have to wait a week, once sent in. You don't get your doctor to send in medications like antibiotics, unless you really need them. What will I do- take them for fun? NO! Im sick, duh. It's not like an ED medicine you need occasionally for fun!

Review of Pharmacist Conduct - Unprofessional and Disrespectful Behavior Randleman Road Greensboro…read moreNC #5593 As a licensed medical provider working with a nationwide medical clinic, I was deeply disappointed by the conduct of a pharmacist at this location. One of our patients returned to clinic after being refused her medication refill--despite presenting a printed prescription that was properly signed, included the physician's NPI number, and met all legal requirements. This method of issuing prescriptions is standard across hospitals and private practices nationwide, especially with the growing use of electronic medical record systems. I contacted the pharmacy directly to clarify and ensure the patient received the care she needed. Unfortunately, the pharmacist I spoke with was not only uncooperative, but outright rude and arrogant. I answered all of his questions respectfully, yet he continued to challenge my legitimacy as a provider. Shockingly, he even asked if I was "acting like a paramedic." For the record, I hold the appropriate medical degrees and have over 30 years of clinical experience. His behavior was unprofessional, dismissive, and inappropriate. Despite confirming that the prescription was for a non-controlled medication, he refused to fill it, asked the same questions repeatedly, questioned my authority without cause, and ultimately ended the call by saying, "Let's not waste any more time," before hanging up on me. This kind of behavior creates unnecessary barriers to care and disrespects both the provider and the patient. I was forced to redirect the prescription to a different pharmacy to ensure the patient received her medication without further delay. I have filed a formal complaint with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy to ensure this incident is reviewed appropriately. Addendum: I asked the pharmacist for his full name, and he gave me an incorrect name--most likely to avoid being reported to the pharmacy board. I called the pharmacy again and asked a technician to provide his full name and correct spelling, but she refused and said she would connect me back to him. I explained I did not wish to speak with him again. On a third attempt, I asked for the store manager. The staff member who answered was kind and went to get the manager, but the manager also refused to provide the pharmacist's name, citing it as private information. This is incorrect. A pharmacist's name is public information--it appears on every prescription label and is listed on the state Board of Pharmacy website. I proceeded to file a formal complaint for disciplinary action with the board due to this pharmacist's unprofessional behavior and for obstructing a patient's access to care. If all of you who have had a negative experience would contact the NC Board of Pharmacy, this nonsense might get addressed properly. There are numerous reviews here regarding the same issue with this particular pharmacist. The pharmacist's name is Ylber (Ben) Rraci. License #: 29329

You almost can't live without purchasing something from them because they are the only ones that sell what you need. I am thankful to have the resources and access, regardless. While I don't like how slow the check-out process can be (due to long lines and lack of cashiers), and I get frustrated at how often items I want are out of stock, there are some things I can appreciate. The employees at this Walmart are always nice and helpful. I have not met one yet that wasn't willing to stop and assist me. I also notice that they are always busy doing their work, which I can't day I observe at other locations. This is a very busy location, so the employees are ways restocking and keeping the shelves looking presentable, also. Kudos to the staff for that. We recently had a winter "storm," and this store helped me prepare by shopping for me and delivering what I needed to my door. I am very thankful for that. Although it needs some improvement, I would still recommend this store above some of the other locations in the city.
