Curren's isn't my Pharmay, it's the Pharmay that my mother uses. Let me be clear that if I lived in…read morethe area it would definitely be my first choice!! I've been in and out of Curren's since June because my mother was given a cancer diagnosis. She's doing well!! Prognosis is great! Anyway, we have been in a lot. They have been INCREDIBLE!!! I've had a million and three questions for them, I've asked advice about supplements and many other things. They have that small hometown feel... it's like walking into the home of a family member. It hasn't mattered how many questions I've had. It hasn't mattered that I've shed a few tears... I've never felt rushed. They've helped me understand the difference benefits of this medicine or that medication. They care and it shows!! Monday when we had to go by to pick up some unexpected medications, i was spent... Momma had had a rough time with her radiation treatment and I was on the verge... she got us squared away and we left. When I got my mother to her home, I opened her bag of meds to explain what was what there was a post it note on the inside of the bag. It read, "God's got this. Praying for you and your family." Momma and I both cried! You would never at this level of care at the "big box" pharmacies! Curren's has proved to be much more than just another Pharmay and we are so thankful!!! As far as Covid, they are taking measures to make people feel safe! Do yourself a favor and drop by Curren's! They also have, what I've been told is the best fresh chicken salad, too!! The little coffee bar is the cutest!! Treat yourself! You won't regret it!

College City Drug Store is my favorite place to shop in Marion. Also, I would not use any other…read morepharmacy even if there were another one in town - I might change doctors but not my drug store - Brad Sturgis and his team are professional and timely. I have never had to wait on a refill that I called in before coming to pick it up... though I do not mind waiting because the store never disappoints with top of the line gifts and unique items to browse. Marion is lucky to have such a unique store on top of such professional and caring pharmacist.

Okay, I will begin by... it takes real bad effort to get a one star from me. Years ago, this…read morelittle town in the blackbelt of Alabama had TWO pharmacies. But, however, when Marion Drugs/Winn Dixie's/Jitney Jungle's pharmacies closed it left one hometown run pharmacy in this small town where it is 20 miles to the next pharmacy. A Fred's opened up some years ago and dirty politics (I'm guessing) has kept them from opening theirs even though the area in the back of the Fred's store is designed for a pharmacy. There is an awful monopoly on the pharmaceutical business in Marion. So, I guess it leaves it pretty much open to do questionable things and have bad reviews on Yelp. College City has once delivered my Dad's highly sensitive (double counted) meds to SOMEONE ELSE who just happened to know who my Dad was and honestly returned the meds to the store. Isn't that a Privacy Act violation??? And, giving someone the wrong medicine could kill them. I went there today to get my prescription filled. It was a transfer from the CVS in Greensboro so I was prepared to wait a little bit. Now, CVS in Greensboro has filled on of my transfers from College City in as little as 5 minutes (see my earlier review of them). This morning I was told to come back at lunch time. So, it took almost 3 hours to fill a script that already had a refill on it. It wasn't like they had to fax the doctor's office and get an approval on it. I am trying my best to do my future drug business with other out-of-town pharmacies. Sorry, Roy Barnette, Brad Sturgis and others.... but, that is just how I see it.
