Overall, for us anyway, as local residents and this being our pharmacy I'm giving a 4/5 for the in-person experience. I definitely score the others lower. And even though in-person is way better there I can also say it bears some risk (as the area you would pick up Rx is right against where other sick may be, so come prepared). If you are from out of town and happen to become sick with a head cold, do not try to buy Sufafed at this pharmacy. The staff will rudely tell you that "in Spring City, you have to have a prescription to get Sudafed." The Tennessee State Attorney General has stated that municipal laws such as this one in Spring City stating you need a prescription for Sudafed violate state law. Yes, Tennessee has a meth problem, but when a person is visibly sick and barely able to talk, one would think the pharmacist and its staff would have some modicum of compassion. Being told I needed a prescription was not a problem, but being told in such a rude tone was very offensive.

However, I would run out of the Rx that I take daily when we reached Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. I requested a transfer from my hometown CVS to this CVS in Pigeon Forge. They texted me on a Wednesday that the Rx was ready for pickup. Due to a few days of rain, I didn't make it into the store until Saturday for pickup. Upon arrival on Saturday, I learned the Rx had been returned to stock because of my slow pick up. (Only 3 days later). The pharmacist told me that she could refill it again in only 5-10 minutes. I went to pick up a few more items and within a minute or two, I was being called for my pickup in the pharmacy. Pros: * easy transfer of prescription between CVSs. * friendly and helpful staff. *plentiful parking. Cons: * quick to put Rx back into stock if not picked up quickly. * Regular-priced items are expensive if not on sale or using loyalty card. * store is sited in a congested intersection.
