I'm so glad to have this drugstore close to work.. it has proven to be a life saver more than once, definitely a trusted name so I don't have to think twice, it's my go to store. Such a convenient location to pick up prescriptions or even a snack, which I do most often. Look for the weekly adds, there is always a sale on most things. You can also pick up additional coupons using your extra care card. It always busy at lunch hour but the checkout line move really quick....in and out in a zap. read more

It was a clean and decent spot to get some drinks and snacks for the weekend. They had decent prices, but to get in on some of their better deals, you'll need to sign up for a CVS card. Since I only had a few items and I didn't have time to fill out a form for the card, I decided to just pay their regular prices. What a beautiful CVS. I ran in while staying in the city for the night and felt like I was in a modern version of what I am used to. Kinda like when Target updated their look and you went in for the first time. I was staying across the street and needed a few snacks and bottles of water for the room. I haven't been back since my unfortunate last visit, but I filled out the customer survey, and the manager did follow up with me within the next day or so. She wanted to correct what went wrong and had a conversation with the employee involved in my previous experience. CVS gains a star back, and I'll update again when I visit next. read more

Being that it was the only pharmacy in less than 0.3 miles of my hotel and a seven minute walk, yeah I'll raise you to 3 stars. I also love the stone facade front! It's not your average looking CVS! Unfortunately, I made the mistake of thinking it was a full sized CVS...no, not quite! I was sadly disappointed when I couldn't find a small gift bag or the eye pencil I was looking for but managed to score a 2pairs of no show stockings on sale for $3! Overall, it's great for snacks or quick, general items, and a convenient location with friendly, helpful employees. FYI..Just don't go in thinking it has it all or come in at lunchtime! The lines were ridiculous! read more

They renovated! Lots of coolers & groceries...you could shop here if needed. 4 self check out lines, which makes it sooo much quicker. I work close to here, so now that I know they have all the items they do, I could do a mini grocery run on my lunch break....super helpful! read more

One of the largest CVS stores I've ever encountered, complete with a unique pseudo-Southwestern style exterior design. Staff is generally friendly, though quite strict when it comes to leaving backpacks up front -- understandable, given the neighborhood, but telling me to leave my backpack on the counter and then not watching it carefully kind of defeats the whole purpose of making sure nothing gets stolen, doesn't it? 24-hour service and pharmacy is super helpful, as is the (intentionally) close proximity to Walgreens, which easily allows me to compare prices and shop the deals at both stores. The pharmacy staff is very nice and knowledgeable, though painfully understaffed. It takes a good deal of effort to even call for the staff's attention sometimes. However, one of the things I appreciated was the fact that the pharmacist called me a couple of days after I picked up my prescription to see how satisfied I was with the pharmacy's service. I'd never once received a call like this from a pharmacy before, so I genuinely appreciated the opportunity to have a chat with the pharmacist. read more

This is a much better location than Travelers Row because there aren't tons of buses and passengers crowding the sidewalks. The inside of the store looks much cleaner too.. even before the flood last year. But sometimes they just don't have enough vitamins or supplements. There have been many times when I've come in here and the vitamin shelf hasn't been restocked. The store associates are pretty nice and helpful. read more

I'm currently looking for a new Pharmacy. I hate coming here and being treated like a leppar. The staff must all attend the same pharmacy school. They teach them to Shun and look down on the needy and sick. I feel like everytime I pick up my prescription, in there head they are thinking " you dirty scum of the earth, why are you here bothering me with your prescription that was given to you by a doctor that thought it necessary. BUT I am the pharmacy tech and I am here to judge who is worthy of medication." then they hand you your prescription and almost as if they turn into a robot, they spew some questions and ask if you need to talk to the pharmacist at all. I can only imagine what the pharmacist would be thinking or saying to everyone after I left. It's obvious they must all talk and giggle at each person that pics up meds. I have been to 3 CVS pharmacies, and I feel this way at each and every one. read more

Solid CVS in the middle of Downtown. Front store staff are super nice and pleasant, as are the pharmacy staff. Despite their size, they have a wide variety of merchandise; they even carry stuff that my home store in South Windsor doesn't. The only two downsides to this location are the pharmacy and the self-checkout stations. The pharmacy is beyond understaffed; usually it's just two techs and the one pharmacist behind the counter. This can be an issue when it's super busy and I have a question to ask said pharmacist...most of the time, I can't get his/her attention (understandable, however). The self-checkouts are nice, but only when they work properly. If I try to skip bagging or bring my own, it locks up and won't let me scan anything else until an associate comes over to unlock it. This is a hassle as I'm usually only purchasing 1-3 items at this location at a time. Overall, though, it's a good location. :) read more
