I do DD as a side job, it was a Friday night at 7:47 pm, the store had a long line at the cashier. I needed assistance to get a product because it is locked and an associate needed to unlocked it for me. I waited for more than 20 mins and I pushed the button for assistance more than 5 times and nobody went to assist me. I went to the cashier and I was told that I needed to make the line and once it was my turn they will unlock it...... AFTER 20 MINS!!! Please, It needs to be improved.!!!! I usually use the drive-thru at this CVS, and the staff--especially Leydis--has always been courteous, helpful, and professional. She's a standout employee who makes the experience smooth and pleasant. Unfortunately, the current pharmacist, Jessica, is the complete opposite. Her rude and dismissive attitude toward non-Spanish-speaking customers is unacceptable. She seems more interested in exerting authority than providing care. She arbitrarily applies policies and even made up a new requirement, insisting I couldn't pick up my prescription through the drive-thru. She instructed the teller to tell me it wasn't ready and that I had to come inside to request a refill--despite no line at the drive-thru. After I waited inside, it turned out the prescription was ready. Still, I was made to wait an additional 15 minutes while Jessica walked back and forth, appearing to avoid assisting me, even though my medication was clearly available. If I could give this location zero stars, I would. Based on my experience and the consistently low reviews, it's clear CVS corporate needs to take a serious look at what's going wrong here. I come to this pharmacy often to pick up my mothers medicine who is a senior citizen. This pharmacy used to have much better service. I don't know if the management has changed but there appears to be much less employees behind the counter. The lines are long and the wait takes forever. I feel sorry for the employees that are running around performing multiple tasks. It's impossible to give good service when you only have one person taking orders and giving the prescriptions. Something needs to change it's very frustrating coming to pick up medication and having to wait over an hour. read more

I waited 40 minutes for a prescription that was "ready for pick up" (I received 2 emails and 1 text) and the lady suddenly said "I can't find your items.. sorry. You'll have to come back later. This is temptingly close to a one or two line Yelp review.. It's a CVS, right at the entrance of thd City of Progress just Okeechobee Road. It's decently stocked with staples such as body wash and shaving razors. As Rebekah T mentioned, if you have their discount / loyalty card, you can take advantage of a few specials. There's a decent stuffed animal selection which is useful for either a last minute gift or the entertainment of watching someone press the demo button in every. Single. One. So as to create a cacophonous concert. I think it sounded like the song "Chongalicious" (go ahead I dare you to look it up ;) A lot of the err family planning items are behind lock and key meaning a pharmacist has to open them and you may get a lecture. Likewise for some of the stronger decongestants and cold meds. Of course if the Dayquil and Theraflu I bought get me better by the weekend, Ill bump this CVS to 5 stars! read more

My go to pharmacy. Not to mention, it's apart of my insurance prescription plan. Yes there are other locations but this one is convenient to everything that I do on a daily basis. I typically go through the drive thru and the staff there is always nice. I have never had any issues with my prescriptions or getting them filled. This CVS is the closest one to me so I frequent it often. The staff at this location is friendly and approachable. The store itself is clean and organized every time I've gone. The pharmacy lines are usually long, so be prepared to wait for a while if you're picking up a prescription. I do appreciate the auto refill feature they have and that they alert me through text message when a prescription is ready. Another reason I like to shop at CVS is their rewards program. Their extra rewards program is awesome. It's essentially free money you earn to spend. I've earned $20 extra bucks a couple of times which makes for a good discount. They also have other good offers on the receipts; coupons that can be used for a specific item or brand. read more

Well let me the first to review and tell you that there is a CVS store in Hialeah. It's there, I went. They have lots of things just as any CVS store does and you know you need stuff. Luckily that card you signed up for wherever you are original from, works at any CVS. I had to stock up on bottles bigger than 3oz., because I like to use a lot of products and perfume and not checking in bags is a pain. They even have my favorite brand of Aussie SPF 8 in a spray can, so I can work on my poolside bronzing like it was my job. We went through two cans, but we saved money by shopping at CVS. read more

Our family has used this CVS near our home for many years and the staff there is terrific. I have severely disabling neurological and psychiatric illnesses and wrote a prior review of this location stating that the service was poor - and I would like to retract that. Even after I complained vociferously about perceived slights, the CVS staff at this location continued to treat me exceptionally well and this speaks to their character. Terrible customer services , I try to return an allergic pills that I got the wrong brand , I lost my receipt , I asked for store credit because I understood that I did not have my receipt , I had the credit card I used to paid ,, well the manager came in and told Me that because it was a very expensive pills. First of all, terrible customer service. Second of all, hire more competent employees. Third of all, retrain the "managers" , "supervisors" Let me just say that I'm a huge couponer. I know the cvs policies pertaining to using coupons but no one there seems to know anything nonetheless know any English. "Manager" Julio should take some time to review the coupon policy and refresh on how to provide good customer service. I just had to leave the store without making a purchase after spending some time shopping because he didn't want to accept my cvs manufacturer coupons because "if it's not on the register I can't apply it." As a loyal customer I feel as though he should've applied the coupons because it's on the cvs app. Anyway, I went to the cvs I frequent to make my purchase and guess what...the manager there said the cvs manufacturer coupons on the app never show on the register, that you have to enter it manually. It is incomprehensible how CVS continues to let this location manage business and customers this way. At any point in the day early morning, late evening, the pharmacy always has a line half a dozen people deep. There is always only 1 incompetent person working and rather than having a proper system in place they have to ask the pharmacist questions with each and every customer. Prescriptions are never ready even when the system says they are and the organization of the prescriptions itself is chaos. The staff are rude and I understand why, the way the pharmacy works makes customers mad and take it out on staff and then in return the staff respond with rudeness. CVS really needs to overhaul this location because they claim this is a high traffic location but treat it like a CVS in the backwoods. I've begun to move my prescriptions to a local pharmacy because dealing with this place on a regular basis is not good for my mental health. read more

He can never tell you anything, he can never help you with anything and everything you ask him he says to ask the daytime people. He can't be bothered to ever do his job. This CVS is extremely frustrating. If it wasn't in such close proximity to my house, I would shop and get my prescriptions elsewhere. Everyone here moves like sloths, so when I come for 1 item, it becomes a 20-30 min ordeal. I've had issues with the pharmacy where a staff member lost my birth control prescription, and when I came to pick it up told me he misplaced it and to call for the doctor to send another one. Uh???? Most times I go to CVS they do not have the pain meds I desperately need. I finally switched to Walgreen s. They do have faster service.
