My husband tried another Walgreens to see if it had been sent by mistake and even followed the pharmacist's recommendation that he ask at Walmart. No bueno.

I had to close the package and place the tag myself which is something I do not mind but at least give instructions instead of acting with displeasure and the sense that I don't know what I am doing. Most of us do not send packages daily and every place likes the label somewhere else. Then, I asked the employee where do I place the package because he was not going to do that for sure, he gave me instructions and when I go to the corner I was instructed to go to, now the other employee at this Walgreens gets rattled and asks what am I doing. I said: " I am placing my package as instructed by the other Walgreens employee." These employees a Walgreens employees and it is obvious that FedEx is not part of them and that it is an annoyance so they do not provide customer service. I much rather go to the UPS store than deal with FedEx.

You call and the auto service pushes you from one spot to another. It would not let me talk to a live person. So leave a message and we will call you back. I get a call at 6:48 pm say yes your script has been transferred, but we close at 7pm.. I said I will right over.. I rush into the CVS at 6:57 and run to the back... It's now 6:58. The lady at the counter says Sir we are closing after this person. But mame you said to get here by 7pm and it's 6:58. Sorry sir she is the late customer. I said I rushed over here from Harbour Town because you said get her by 7pm. "I AM SORRY BUT WE ARE CLOSING AFTER THIS LADY" What are you serious??? it's 6:58, the pharmacy closes at 7pm. Now from me raising my voice I have 5 pharmacy employees staring at me like who is this dissatisfied customer? Why is he upset that we told him to be here by 7pm and now we being customer driven upset. Well I didn't get my script. No wonder this store gets a 2 star rating. I occasionally shop for other items when I stop in to pick up my prescription. As a small independent drug store they don't have quite the selection that you find in chain drug stores but I always manage to find what I am looking for and feel good about supporting a locally owned shop as opposed to a big corporate chain. They do have a small but nice selection of locally made items, including soaps, scrubs, candles, bug spray, etc.

That was after, my two scripts were called in and I received acknowledgment that the scripts had been called in days before (2-3) days before I attempted to pick them up. I even called twice to ascertain if they were ready and was advised that they were. My wife even called and was told the same, just to show up and it not be ready. In addition, the first time I visited this location, I was the fifth person in line and none of us left with our medications. Actually my wife just returned home from trying to pick a script up and it was again not ready. I actually prayed for patience the first time I went in the business. Maybe it's all on me or maybe a sign to go elsewhere.

The store is smaller than most Walmarts, but usually has what I am looking for. It is not the cleanest store, however, and often has items covered in dust and floors that look like they haven't been cleaned in months in the side aisles. Parking can be an issue, but I tend to park near the side door and go in that way to avoid the chaos that can be by the main door.

A few years ago I learned from social media that Publix has really good handmade subs. So we tried and have had a good experience every time. You basically go up to the deli area and order. I got a chicken salad wrap with lots of veggies. My only complaint really is it was very soggy. And became difficult to eat. It wasn't bad in taste really just berry soggy and dripping. Next time I won't get that. It is just plain chicken salad. Mayo and chicken. Needs some seasoning too. The rest of the subs were a hit. I do have to say the deli team member was very nice. But did not speak much English. Which made it a bit difficult to ask questions and ask for ingredients on the sandwich. She was nice and we made it through. We will be back next year.

Since it was on a Sunday during peak tourist season, they were completely out of stock on several items I wanted to purchase. I was able to find alternatives, but the pricing was a little higher than what I would have paid at HT or Kroger. I do like shopping at Publix on occasion for certain things, and they often have good BOGO deals for selected items. Unfortunately for me on this visit, none of the items I purchased were on BOGO special.
