Walgreens offers some pretty good sales using your Balance Rewards card (free to join), though the regular prices on some items are higher than Wal-Mart prices. I can always find what I need when I shop at this Hooksett store. I shop at Walgreens for a variety of items including OTC meds, soft drinks, candy, snacks, magazines (sometimes they have magazine issues from the previous & current months in stock), greeting cards, household products, toiletries, frozen foods, cosmetic items, and small gifts for my family and friends. This store has a pretty good selection of candy including boxed candy which is much cheaper than the concession stand prices at the nearby cinema. The staff here is friendly and helpful.

Absolute nightmare. I went into the store five days ago to transfer my prescription over here…read morebecause it was significantly less than my original pharmacy. The pharmacy tech took all my information and told me I would get a text message when it was ready. Five days goes by and I never hear anything. So, I called them and they told me that they lost all my information. The pharmacy tech takes all my information over the phone again. I remind her that it is for a 180 count bottle. Another day goes by and I got a text message saying that my prescription is ready and it is half the price what I was expecting? I paid for it online and drove over there to pick it up. After I pick it up and get into my car, I glanced at the bottle and noticed it was only filled to a 60 count. So, I go back inside and tell the pharmacy tech that they filled the wrong count. She tells me it's an easy fix, and that they will get me the correct count in a moment. So, as I am waiting , I looked behind me and the iron gate closes on the pharmacy. Apparently they shut down for 30 minutes for lunch at that time. So I have to end up wandering aimlessly around the store for 30 minutes. Then after the iron gate opens, the pharmacy tech notices me and says, oh, you didn't get that bottle yet? You can probably imagine what I wanted to say, but I grinned and beared it. She then expeditiously rang me out and I was able to rid myself of that place. May God help you if you ever are a new customer getting a prescription filled there. That's all I can say. Two stars because the price was good, they were pleasant to deal with, and at least I eventually got the prescription.
