a man and a woman shopping in a grocery store

I will never shop here again (as directed by a customer to "stay home" when I told him and his companion they were going the wrong way). The companion later gestured their combined IQ's with a middle finger in the air. Though I complained to management, I was told nothing could be done. It seemed that he just wanted to keep business as usual and not handle those who disregard safety. They were going the wrong way, not maintaining distance or wearing masks and shopping together. All unsafe for those around them. I just want 6 feet which means going the right way. Everything else is choice. That's fine. This photo was taken after. They were going the right way here where the one holding up a finger told me to take the picture.

Aside from being super cheap and extremely close this store has the friendliest people around....I have shopped here for decades and right next door is the Liquor Store & Burlington Coat Factory (My other favorite stores in Concord) It is a fact that although the choices may be less than the other larger stores it essentially has everything that you could ever need (Except for hot tea for my Keurig despite several requests to get it in stock) but other than that you can't beat the staff the location or the prices!!! Why would I shop any where else? Well, Ill tell ya...occasionally I like to sip a nice cup of hot tea from my Keurig...LOL!

This is rated as a $ business but is at LEAST $$ on produce. You can't even get salad fixings in large sizes.

Great little convenient store to grab essentials and get out quickly. Much better parking than the Fort Eddy location so easier all around!

MB is the best grocery store in NH- hands down. Quality, selection and service.

The rating has gone up a star…read more Everyone there pretty much knows us now, they are very helpful, and the quality of their products is great. We have now started buying our milk from Aldi, switching over from Market Basket. It seems MB doesn't handle their milk very safely - every time we would buy a half gallon of their 2 percent skim milk, it would be sour very quickly! There is somewhere in the supply chain that their milk is getting warm. The Aldi milk, on the other hand, is ice cold when we pull it from the cold chest, and it lasts a good week past the freshness date! Now for the new things we've discovered: their ice cream sandwiches are wonderful; way better than Hood's, which had always been a mainstay! The chocolate cookie outside tastes like it actually has cocoa in it, and the ice cream is nice and creamy. The pre-packaged meal envelopes are great - they have a Pad Thai (pretty spicy), Southwest Burrito filling, and a couple of Indian choices (Vegetable Korma and Butter Chickpea). We pour them into a bowl, and heat for 3 minutes in the microwave, then eat it with a piece of their excellent Naan bread. The fastest lunch around! Their Organic Uncured Hot Dogs are wonderful! Very meaty, and none of the crap that's in many hot dog brands. We put one of them on their brioche hot dog bun with chopped raw onion and German mustard, and have a quick, delicious lunch. Or have them with baked beans for a hearty dinner. As you can see, we're very pleased with Aldi - the only complaint is the recent re-arrangement of the aisle layout. It still drives us nuts! But that said, the food quality, service, prices, and pleasant employees win out!

We have a Hannafords' in town that has limited selections as it occupies the footprint of an older, mom & pop store. I have to confess I have never been to an Aldi and today was the first time as I was in Concord. It takes a little research to go to Aldi for the first time, and even when I did, there were still some surprises. The quarter per shopping cart and the dangling key seemed cosmic until a nice lady said she had finished with a cart she found in the paring lot and gave it to me. So I went inside to see what they had. I did bring several bags and cooling bags as I understood their no bag policy which I found super Super layout of staples, non-perishable items and seasonal products at very competitive prices. The fresh produce section seemed picked over and it was still mid morning. I can imagine what it must look like at 3 PM.... On the other hand, their refrigerated food, cookout items and frozen selections were superb. Wide aisles, friendly people, and nice attendants. Checkout was a breeze. The nice checkout attendant helped me with placing the items in the cooler bag. As anything related to a German company, it was quick and efficient.... I will say that, being an assiduous buyer of organic products, I can see myself coming over for party food and non perishables. However, the shopping experience is excellent.
