I was surprised how helpful the CVS staff was. Especially Rachalle helped me to save money by combining my purchase with coupon and FSA together. Woohoo! I only paid $4 for my $25 purchase. I normally drive through Richmond Avenue to avoid traffic and toll from Chinatown to H-E-B or Kroger during my weekly grocery trips. Westheimer can get a little congested during afternoon commute hours. Once awhile I stop at this CVS to take a break from roadway madness or take a phone call. I love surprises. The pharmacy technician was extremely easy going while I went in between Goodrx and my insurance. He put in extra work to get me the lowest price. This pharmacy is understaffed but the staff makes up for the wait by giving individualized care that supports the community and not the pharmacy companies. read more

Kudos to CVS pharmacy staff for being warm and friendly, personable, expeditious, and professional! I always dread going to any pharmacy because it usually takes forever to get your prescriptions from grumpy and overworked staff. This was not the case here! Mind you, I do feel like they could use another pharmacy tech because prescriptions and customers were steady but they handle all aspects of dropping to picking up your prescription with care. I also appreciate that the pharmacist herself calls customers to let them know their prescription is available!!! The techs were so friendly and so understanding of those that were in a rush. I noticed that they quickly tried to establish rapport with their clients and I appreciate the extra effort. I glad I switched to this pharmacy. read more

If I could give this cvs a zero stars I would I witnessed how a employee literally neglect a lgbtq girl who needed something from the pharmacy . And the employee literally said am moving You can speak louder. Visited this store by mistake. Oh well, it worked out for the best in the very end. Had some issues returning some CVS items at the other Westchase CVS (Westheimer near Hayes). Made the complaint to corporate. Corporate thought it was this location but actually it was the other one that gave me trouble. Store manager, Josh, left me a message that they would accept the return. I then called him back letting him know there was a mixed-up (my complaint wasn't about his store). Super friendly guy. Comparing to the other Westchase store, this one absolutely truly cares about providing the best customer service. Just a quick note - no one argued with me at this location. When any customer service made me feel like crap, please run, run like Forrest Gump. I surely will stick with this location. read more

Had a good experience during my visit. They had in stock what I needed and it was on sale too. Quick check out and cashier was friendly. On another occasion a lady approached me in the parking lot with some long story of needing money because she didn't have enough gas. I hate to say but sounded like a b.s. story. BIG RACIST VIBES from the employees at this store even with a "black" manager ZACH. Rude and seemed agitated that I was trying to get cash back, hit me with a "store policy is you have a purchase an item over $1 for cash back" which is a policy I never heard of before , even at THIS STORE that I just got cash back from 2 days prior without any issues. So cool whatever I grabbed 2 packs of gum and told them I just wanna have 2 separate transactions because the cash back limit is $40 , after ringing up first item she told me I couldn't do the other because the cash back limit is one transaction per customer. WHAT?!!! Lol. I've been to a million cvs/Walgreens and have never been hit with this policy. Then ZACH the manager came to try to explain to me how that's the policy at every cvs and after I told him that's a lie he said "well I'm the manger at this cvs and that's the policy" so after me and him got into a back and forth , one of the assistant managers, a white female , had the nerve to mutter "nigger" within her sentence. I couldn't make out her whole sentence but most definitely NIGGER is what stood out. My blood is boiling right now. And ZACH had the nerve to say if you have a issue call corporate. And after all this I asked for a refund and he said no I'm not giving you one! Lmao.
