I've visited this location twice now to pick up online photo orders courtesy of T-Mobile Tuesday. I bike here to get a good exercise and thankfully, they let me leave my bike at the entrance without a problem. I'm always in and out and everyone is so kind. I've gone during the day and late at night. I cannot speak for their pharmaceutical or other item prices within the store, however, I do appreciate their partnership with T-Mobile to provide customers with printed photos of their captured experiences. My one recommendation would be for CVS to inform customers on when their order is ready for pick up. As they only sent you an email that they received the order request and that it is confirmed. They never send out anything regarding pick up. Although, I have gone the next day after placing an order and it is ready. read more

This store really helped out in a bind. It is a regular CVS that sticks the usual items found at any CVS, but this store is open 24 hours which is more rare. One star off was that the item I wanted was not there. Only an empty shelf with a price tag. And it was not a rare or limited item (not baby formula). Not to be confused with CBS (news), CDS (music), COS (play), and POS (me), this is an overpriced chain pharmacy. This Pharmacy in Houston is way overpriced but conveniently located close to a lot of the things that we always go to, much like the other location I recently reviewed. Barbie got some lotion here, I got some baby oil here. Not bad. read more

Will be switching to Walgreens. I was told through the app that I needed to call the pharmacy if I wanted my prescription delivered so that's what I did. A lady named "Jen" answered with an attitude. I told her that I was calling so that I can request to have my prescription delivered. She rudely said "you need to go on the app and do it. I have customers and we are about to close. Go on the app or call back tomorrow". I did call at 7:40 and after making the phone call, I saw that they closed at 8pm. I understand it's 20 mins before closing but, that's no way to treat a customer. She needs to learn a thing or two on how to give average if anything customer service. read more

This is one of the worst CVS pharmacies that I have ever used. No matter one time I go there is always a line and a problem. Today, I was told that they would only see the last person that was there before 6. I was unaware of the time and then was told that I was not there before 6. I understand that the register may shut off at a certain time but from a customer service stand point try to service as many people as you can. I was only there to pick up. I could have paid for my prescription up front. Now I had to make another trip here because of 2 to 3 minutes. read more

I just recently tried the pharmacy and they did a good job which moved my rating to two stars. I typically don't use them as I just don't like to go in the store. The non-pharmacy help are not particularly friendly or helpful. I use the self service check out stations. Plus their prices for general goods are amongst the highest I've encountered. I recommend the pharmacy, but not the rest of the store. read more

I'm not a fan of convenient stores, but I wanted something sweet before spending time with my Aunt at the local hospital. Decided to drop by this CVS before heading there since it was at the corner of Gessener and the feeder. Easier to get to, hard to get out of! Take that back, pulling into the parking lot from the I-10 feeder you're subject to getting into an accident! First off the parking lot is small and narrow. I like to back into my parking spaces (just in case I have to run over someone for self defense ;P and since I didn't want to deal with the headache of backing up into upcoming traffic from Gessener, I found the last row near the feeder and started backing up, but people don't believe in slowing dooooooown in parking lots anymore, so I quickly backed up into the space seeing that my entry into the parking lot led me into oncoming traffic. The only space for entering the lot from Gessener is about the width of a car and it leads to the drive thru pharmacy. I could go on and on, but you got the gist--very inconvenient and dangerous! Knowing what I know now about the parking, I won't inconvenience myself at this conveneient store. Not worth the hassle of getting into an accident. read more

This pharmacy is suck and has a really bad customer service. The nurse/intern (not the pharmacist) is so freaking rude. Look. I have the best insurance and I pay for my medicine if needed. I have to say this review is not related to all CVS Pharmacy locations, but is absolutely the WORST customer service experience on the planet. It is so sad that people care so LITTLE about serving people that require medication. I used another CVS at the corner of Westheimer and 610 and NEVER had one single issue. Not one in over 5 years. I move to Spring Branch and now I have issues getting my medication filled every month. Today was the end of my using this establishment. I take blood pressure medication every single day and get it filled every single month. The medication that works for me, is not covered by my insurance. Yeah that stinks but thankfully the drug manufacturer provides a coupon to take the cost from $574/mo down to $85/mo. I have to renew the coupon every year but it covers the rest of the cost. EVERY single month it is like I have to explain the process again. EVERY month. I need a double dose of my blood pressure medication just to get it filled. Today they tell me it won't work. They can charge me $574 for brand name or $178 for a generic. What makes my heart ache is there are a TON of people that would just not battle with the incompetent people. In the beginning of the call I was nice and said you must be entering something wrong and she was EXTREMELY rude and told me she knows what she is doing. I requested to speak to a manager and she said the manager is busy. I said I will hold. She left me on hold for some time and then came back and said she got it to work, it will be ready in an hour and hung up on me. Shame on a group of people that support employees talking to customers like this. I will be calling the CVS corporate office tomorrow as soon as they open. SHAME on you! read more

NEVEE get your medicine here. They have the RUDEST people working. I am literally shocked at the response I got from this lady on the phone not to mention that she was lying about what time the pharmacy closed. I asked for help transferring my prescription to another pharmacy because of distance issue to pick them up here. The lady rudely said that the pharmacy I want to pick up at has to call them. And when I ask her if there's anything I can do because I really need the medicine since I feel ill she says NO IM CLOSING ITS 8 (I just checked the pharmacy hours they close at 10). And then I said look mam I understand but I just want to get my medicine transferred because I feel very ill. She said I DONT CARE IF YOU FEEL ILL IM HANGING UP. I usually don't have trouble at this location with much, but last night the coupon center was broken and no one bothered to put a sign up. The machine even says and sounds lime it's printing your coupons and then nothing comes out. I had to wait in line at the check out just to inform them when they indeed actually already knew. Also something went awry with an ECB deal for Maybelline, spend $10 get 6 ECB, I purchased an under eye corrector $10.49... received no ECB. Spoke with the management and he kept looking at the receipt to tell me in wrong. He tried to tell me it's because I had a 40% off 1 item, I told him that the pre coupon amount should have prompted the ECB. After looking over the receipt he still argued but went ahead and told me he'd print one this time only. Well it was due to me and this usually doesn't happen. I've been a customer for over 20 years this is the first time I've experience bad customer service I went to go pick up a get well card for my uncle. And the employee name mark had told me they didn't sell any cards and I told him it was placed online and he gave me such a nasty attitude. I was being so polite to him thinking he had a bad day. However he still proceeded to mumble under his breath. And he didn't even give me a envelope to put my card in even though it's included. Made me wait 15 minutes only to tell me that my prescription written on the 30th can't be filled on the 29th.

If I could it'd be 0 stars. I did the curb side online order. It advertise as 1-hour curbside but it took them hours before texting me my order was ready. I come the next day to pick it up and no one comes out to bring my order. I had to go in myself to get my things. Defeats the whole idea of curbside... Terrible. This is the closet CVS to me, and I have had hit and miss issues at this pharmacy in past in regards to customer service, but today made up for it. Nicole, the pharmacist on duty, was friendly, took care of my prescription and even refilled one that had been put back on the shelf- this all took only a few minutes. I have always had issues with CVS getting my insurance information correct, but all was good today, and this was the best experience I have had at this pharmacy to date. This is the WORST cvs location EVER. If I could give it zero stars, I would. After searching nearly a dozen locations to find stock of a single product, I FINALLY found it at this location, however something on it was broken and it was the last one of its kind in stock. I asked the cashier at checkout if the item could be discounted due to its damage, but if not, I still would be willing to purchase it. The lady indignantly replied, "I can't sell that to you. I'm going to throw it away." After asking to speak to a manager to come to some sort of agreement, she refused to locate a store manager, claiming that she was a "shift supervisor." Instead of asking to speak to a real manager, I simply left the item in her possession and left the store. I will not be returning to this rude, wasteful, and unhelpful location. read more

I just came to get my sister vaccinated and received the worst customer service ever... the pharmacist responsible for the vaccines humiliated us and was rude. Everyone asking citizens to get vaccinated and when we walked in she literally made us leave. She screamed at us saying that we had to wait 45 min and that we had to stay there... when deciding whether to stay or not she was even worse, she asked us to leave because "others" were waiting when there was no one waiting. Because of people like her is that some people are not getting vaccinated and we need to get people vaccinated! read more

This cvs is cool. One of the few 24 hour cvs in the neighborhood. Pharmacy is not 24 hours tho. So don't stop by for prescription past 9pm. This CVS is terrible. Always out of stock on everything and rude staff. The final straw was not being allowed to use a coupon that was in date because I don't have a printer. No where on the coupon did it state that it needed to be printed. I've tried to be a loyal CVS customer despite recent shortcomings but I think I'll be switching to Walgreens. read more

As others have said, this is a brilliant waste of a great location. I know this isn't true for everyone, but any maintenance scripts for me are handled through mail order. Ergo, if I'm actually showing up to a pharmacy to fill a script, that means it's fairly urgent (antibiotics or something). I've tried to fill scripts such as that a couple of times in the past couple years and the wait times seem to just get longer. The last time was an hour wait so I just said forget it and went somewhere else. Also, I will echo that the clientele here is super sketchy. Someone actually attempted to follow me home from this location once - older Caucasian guy waited in his car reading a magazine and started up and left when I did and proceeded to follow me a couple miles on Gessner. I was able to elude him, but be aware of your surroundings! read more

Jennifer the blonde pharmacist is absolutely disrespectful, horrible at working in this type of environment, and needs a lesson in customer service. They gave me a 3 months supply of a prescription, and I told them that I only needed 1 months worth, and Jennifer got annoyed and said, "I have a ton of other customers in here to help, so I do not have time to run it through the system again for you. We can fix this order tomorrow and you can come back." I told her that I was heading out of town this evening, and that I really needed the prescription today. I told her that I did not mind waiting if she needed to take care of others first. She basically said, "No" and "You can take it or leave it." I ended up taking the 3 months supply, and when I asked the pharmacy technician for Jennifer's name, the technician was hesitant and asked Jennifer if she could provide me with her name, and Jennifer replied, "Yes, you can give it to her. Literally the worst pharmacy to which I have ever been. My pedi called in a prescription antibiotic for my child and two hours later, it still wasn't ready. I arrived at 4:10, only to find the person at the pharmacy knew nothing, said the pedi had never called it in, but that it could be the message on the machine. I waited outside in the drivethru with three children under the age of 7 for 45 minutes, only to be told she couldn't have it ready as fast as she thought, but that it would be ready within the hour. My husband went by around 5:30 on his was home from work, stood in line for 20 minutes, and then the pharmacist told him they didn't actually have the antibiotic, and neither did any cvs pharmacy within 15 miles. They told him there was nothing they could do. This prompted me to call the pharmacy again. I spoke to a woman who apparently is very new at the whole communication thing, because after about 10 minutes of conversation with me, she stated, "Well, I guess we could call the doctor and see if they can write something else..." Seriously? This didn't occur to you until I called? What would be the standard protocol here? I guarantee you its not allowing a customer to wait a total of almost two hours without a phone call or notification that you, in fact, DON'T HAVE THE MEDICINE. Calling the doctor? Quite a novel idea; its a shame the CUSTOMER had to suggest it. Thank God it was just an antibiotic and not something more serious. I shudder to think what people in serious need do. I only had to deal with a crying two year old for two hours. It is legitimately the most unprofessional pharmacy and we will not be back. read more

Liars, liars! I bought a 90 day supply of my medication five months ago for $20.00. They've been selling me a one months supply for $10.00 for the last two months. All of a sudden their distributor does not have it. When they did get it in, they said they could only sell me one months supply. They were about to charge me $25.00 for a one months supply. That was $15.00 more than the regular $10.00 for the one months supply. I could have bought a 90 day supply with that amount and saved $5.00. I told them to keep it. I haven't taken the prescription for the last five doses. I'd give them "0" stars if I could. Jennifer Wagner runs the drug dept. but she can't keep up with the stock. I waited, no exaggeration, three times for someone to come to the drive through. One of the drive thru's is broken and then don't seem to be able to fix it. Two times I waited four minutes after the canned voice gives me a hello. Someone comes on and says just a minute. Last time I went inside. The pharmacist was working hard but the other two girls were having animated telephone conversations or just walking around doing nothing. The one on the phone was talking to someone and laughing and giggling while a man before me and I were waiting to hand in a prescription. My friend was in the car in the parking lot since there were five cars waiting for one lone drive through. I finally just tossed the scripts to the lady and left. This store is convenient but Walgreens treats me like a valued customer. I'm switching my prescriptions as they become due. read more

The worst pharmacy ever, for years I've had mediocre but acceptable service from this pharmacy until my most recent trip. I know this place is slow as molasses in January so I don't expect to pick up my px immediately or even within 2 hours. I had my doctor call in my meds early in the morning, I called them around noon and they said there was no such px. Ok fine I let my doctor know and he calls again and this time they got it so they said it'll be around 30 mins. I arrive there 3 hours after the phone call and the lady there informs me it's not even made yet!!! I told her I called three hours prior and all she said was "we're busy" with the stupidest deer in the headlight look. The people here don't ever say thank you, don't even ask if you have any questions, nothing not even eye contact. Thank god the pharmacists here aren't real doctors. read more

It's a shame CVS can't put together a better pharmacy at such a prime location, very close to Memorial City Mall, in an affluent area. The sign outside says "open 24 hours," leading one to believe the pharmacy is open 24 hours, but it is not. It's not a very large store, and the check-out is awkward, with people kind of standing around because it's right next to the Photo Dept., and if someone is standing at the counter at the Photo Dept., there's no room for a line. read more
