I thought they had higher standards for their employees. I was told over the phone that my script was done but my insurance (BCBS) wouldn't pay for it. I responded with ok, I have a manufacturer coupon and I'll pay out of pocket. Trevor was like .... Ok (attitude!) you're not going to like the price. I asked why he was being rude and he told me because he didn't care about his job and that he was quitting anyhow so report him for all he cares!. I'm fine with the price, I just need the meds. Anyhow, I left for the store and 20 minutes later was told that they didn't have the script and I'd have to go to Brighton now to get it. (This was 10 minutes before they closed!) Long story short...... the staff are miserable!

The pharmacists and techs have been so great to work with! Of course there have been some cranky techs from time to time but they usually don't last long. I get great service both over the phone and in person. Of course they do run longer getting scrips filled when they get busy, I always tell them when I need something quickly or when I'm in no hurry so others that need their medication sooner don't need to wait. That's something that would make a big difference in everyone getting urgent fills faster. Because my medications do change and are not easy to come by I have been really impressed with this team and the respect they give me, kindness and caring care. It sounds silly but it really means a lot to me. It's hard enough having a chronic illness, when people do their best to help and make something easier it stands out. Beyond the staff itself, there is one cross to bare and that is Central Fill. For my monthly maintenance medication I don't mind at all having refills come two days later from a fill center. I can plan for that and refill early enough to not have a problem. When my doc sends a new med electronically and it goes directly to Central Fill, the pharmacist never even sees it. Most often it is prescribed because they want the patient to start taking it immediately! Waiting 2/3 days is so frustrating... the pharmacy will always fill it on the spot if ask but that is one reason they get backed up and you have to wait, nobody likes that. I know they save $$ doing it this way but there are appropriate uses and it isn't for new scripts! Overall, in Hartland this is my number 1 choice. My second is CVS on the corner of 23/59. They have great service too.
