I've actually had really pleasant experiences at this CVS. It's consistently clean and kept together well. Here and there I come here to pick up prescriptions. It can be slow depending on the day, but it's like that at any pharmacy. And now they have check in touchscreens that you can start on even if a worker is busy, so that's a nice addition. Alisia that works at the pharmacy is the absolute best. She's so friendly and pleasant and a pleasure to be helped by. There's a minute clinic here, as well as a drive thru pharmacy that I've never tried using. Going inside for pharm has seemed to be the best route in my experience. I also have used their photo print area to get some specialty items quick, and if you have a design or photos ready you can literally go pick them up same day, which is great if you need a last minute gift. read more

The pharmacy drive-through has to be the absolute worst in Florida. It's always slow but this evening there was one vehicle in front of us and it took 28 minutes to get to the window and then 7 minutes to get my 1 prescription. Horrible! read more

Don't waste your time going here because they won't help you. I started using minute clinics when I was very young because it was an affordable option and as a teen with no insurance, I was able to be seen by a medical professional and get medication all for under $200. I don't know what's going on with this location, or maybe it's this post-pandemic economy causing company policy changes but it seems that this location's policy is to not give any medicine no matter how sick you are. I've been here about 4 times over the last 4 years for everything from food poisoning that won't go away to skin infections to aggressive bacterial colds that won't quit. I come here for help and am always denied all medications of any kind. They just take your money and basically tell you to get out. Then I have to go to a real doctor to get help and pay for medical treatment a second time. Save your money and at the very least don't go to this location. I can't speak to other minute clinics as it's been almost a decade since I've been to a different one. I take my business to Watson Clinic now. They actually act like they want to help you. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. The pharmacy here is a joke. The guy is a complete dick. He insulted the fact I came to late at night even though I came straight from the ER to fill emergent meds. He then told me I needed to wait an hour while he sat behind the counter doing nothing. I love this CVS! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Also, if you are a couponer, they are very accommodating and will ensure that you get what you need. The staff really go above and beyond to make sure that their customers are happy. Also, the minute clinic is awesome. 90% of the time, I take my family here. We get in and out quickly, and the nurse really listens and makes an effort to address whatever ailment we are dealing with. The head nurse is exceptionally kind and actually "knows" us now, which makes this store feel almost homey Even though the actual location of the store is not my favorite (and definitely not the closest one to my house), I do all of my drugstore shopping here. CVS is incompetent! Store 3204 - On December 14th, CVS sent me a text message with a link that informed me that my 86 year old mother's prescription was ready. When I got to the store, the pharmacist found the prescription in the computer, got it from the bin and began to process the sale. Then, he stopped, put the prescription back and told me that the prescription expired on the 13th. When I got home, I logged on to the CVS site. It shows that the prescription was ordered in August, that it expired December 13 and was filled December 14??? I had requested a refill online about a week before. Even though it was ordered in August with a refill available, it indicated that doctor's authorization was required? Itook my mom to the doctor on the 13th. I mentioned to the nurse that I had been trying to get a refill, and the nurse made a note for the doctor. Then, the nurse checked the office system and said that a refill had been sent earlier that day. It looks like the new prescription caused the prescription from August to "expire" when it was sent on the 13th. But, where is the new prescription??? I had a somewhat similar experience at this store a few months ago. My mother saw a different doctor, and that doctor ordered a refill for a different prescription. I got a text message from the doctor's automated system reporting that the prescription had been sent to this store. Days later, this store is telling me that they never received the prescription. I finally had to contact the doctor to get that prescription cancelled and replaced with a new one. Again, I got the message from the doctor's automated system, and this time the pharmacy actually acknowledged that they had the prescription. Stores 5122 and 3204 - At the beginning of the year, the pain management doctor sent a refill for my mother's opiate medication to store 5122. I waited for a text telling me that it was ready for pickup. After two days, I called. They were out of the medication - hydrocodone/APAP 5/325 - and it would be a week before they got more. They would not transfer the prescription to another store, and they would not tell me if another store had it in stock. I got the prescription moved to store 3204 thinking that a 24 hr store would keep it in stock. Wrong!!! Same problem there. Out of stock for a week, and no help finding a store that had it. I eventually got it filled in another town!!! To repeat, CVS is incompetent!!! read more

I made a visit to this store this morning after a dr appt and also recovering from the flu to buy hot tea , shampoo, paper towel , and soup. I realized cashier didn't put tea in bag when I got home . I called and Cashier said she would put aside and my husband could pick up on way home . Well, my husband went there to get it and a different cashier wouldn't give it to him . He explained situation and she said no. What?? So I pulled myself out of bed to drive there and talk to a manager to get the $4 tea that they tried to steal . I guess they were suspicious of a 55 year old man in a suit trying to pull a fast one on them by trying to steal a box of tea . We've been going there for 17 years . No more !! read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars! I was running very low on a very important medication. I'd been waiting to be notified that it was ready. When that didn't happen, I went on the CVS app. It said my medication was CANCELLED!!! I tried calling the store, but it rang for over 33 minutes with no one answering! So I went up to CVS and the pharmacist lied. He said my provider "cancelled " my medication and I'd have to call and get it reordered. When I asked which provider and why wasn't I notified? He then changed and said I (me) looked up an old prescription number. I told him I didn't use a prescription number, it was on the app. He then said he could fill it! I told him this could have been cleared up over the phone. He told me they were too short staffed to answer the phone. I told him that sick people should not have to come up to the pharmacy when it could have been handled over the phone! He then got really smart with me. I told him I if I called corporate that maybe that would let corporate know how short staffed they are. He said it wouldn't matter. They would just have him call me in a few days! So I said maybe corporate would care if they lost business and he said "Nope- that's why we have contracts with insurers "!!! So in other words, they can treat customers like crap because they have us (customers) by the short hairs! How's that for customer service??? I'm calling my insurer tomorrow to see if I have another option! If not, I'll change location!!! I don't care if I have to drive a little further to not have to put up with a jerk whom has lost credibility with me! read more

This pharmacy continues to fall short of good service. Don't arrived at 1:20 to pick up prescription. They close at 1:20 for lunch. They wouldn't help me. I had a bone graft infection that it took them over 24 hours to fill. If they can't handle the work load then they should hire more help. No customer support at all. Will take my business elsewhere. Covid has nothing to do with this. This is Florida. Not even a a one star. read more

I just moved my prescriptions back to CVS from Walgreens because their prices are so much better and open 24 hours. It is now 12:40 AM....I have been on hold for the pharmacy for 45 minutes. Am I crazy or should there not be someone answering the phone at this hour? I cannot understand how any business can stay open like this...but, it is Lakeland and seems typical for everything here! Absolutely worst managed pharmacy in my experience. The drive-thru is the worst. 3 lanes with only one open for service. The COVID Testing lane is seldom being used and the drive thru wait is ridiculous. There is no concept of customer service. And the hand drawn signs are a special touch. If the three stooges were still alive and still making movies, they would have a golden opportunity to make a hilarious new film called, "The CVS Pharmacy Zoo". The opening scene would be a long line of people shuffling towards a counter, frowning because they are trapped in "Pharmacy Limbo" and crossing their fingers in hopes that their meds are ready, in-stock and properly labeled. But there's really nothing funny about getting released from a hospital, with specific instructions from a doctor to have vital medication filled as soon as possible, then discovering that (A): the meds that were supposed to be ready hours before are not even in the cue; (B) The medication itself is not in stock; (C) the medication that was supposed to be shipped the next day is not there as promised and (D) a label indicating dosage is missing. For the sake of blaming those who should be blamed and not those who are easy to blame, please allow me to bifurcate the store staff from the pharmacy staff. The former are professionals, well-versed in customer service and dispute resolution. Then again, they are the store staff whose essential function is to move inventory. The pharmacy staff at this facility is the polar opposite of the store employees. These folks are clearly ill-equipped, poorly trained and lack any sensitivity to the needs of their customers. If you need a prescription filled in a timely manner, good luck. They may or may not have it in stock and more likely to have it on "backorder"--never mind that your physician scrambles to get write your script for the purpose of getting it filled; not standing on a long line that mirrors the worst depictions of the post office right before Christmas. My personal recommendation to folks: if you're not shackled to CVS, move on. Walgreens and Publix Pharmacy run circles around them. read more

This CVS is at the busy corner of the most accidents in Lakeland each year. Enter/depart at your own risk! It has a weird layout compared to other local CVS stores but items are pretty standard. There's rarely help on the floor and parking is crazy. Don't forget your durn card so you can get those lovely long receipts with money on future purchases that you never get back for! ho hum. 4/26/14. Updating my review to lower it one star. Service is horrible. Long lines. When next register opens they don't take "next in line". Clerks are snooty as well as slow. Layout makes finding things difficult and parking lot is scary. my pal and i were craving ice cream and decided to stop by to quench our craving. as we skipped through the aisles i must admit they were quite clean and organized, however a loud noise stopped us in our tracks. the lady that seemed like she was in charge was yelling and it was scary. she was being mean to her employee and calling him stupid and and idiot. i felt so bad for him i wanted to give him a hug. he admitted that he made a mistake and said he was sorry but she continued to yell. so overall very organized but sadly some of the staff are meanies. read more

If I could give a negative star review, this CVS pharmacy would get it. I had to use this location because it is the only 24 hour CVS in the area, and I had just been released from the emergency room and needing to get four rx's filled so at 1:30 am we drove over so that the meds would be ready later in the morning. This was urgent enough that I needed the meds first thing or I would have waited to go to my usual CVS near my house in the Highlands (which is sooooo much better than this location!) Oh boy, what a mistake. I called to check if the order was ready. I was put on hold for 1 hour five minutes before I hung up. On another line I called the store. They transferred me and I was put on hold again 25 minutes. This was after the store associate said she would go back and let them know-she never got back to me. Three calls to the main store and was hung up on when line picked up. I finally got through to asst. store manager somehow on the phone quagmire. She merely walked back, found out if the rx was ready, and told me yes. Got my meds at noon-needed them to breathe. I don't understand why this store pharmacy is so poor when it is obviously a critical site being a 24 hour pharmacy which people would turn to when in dire need of their meds in the middle of the night. Who is in charge here? After ready these other reviews it is clear this is not just a one time issue. CVS you need to listen up and fix this. Everyone else: Run Away, Run Away! I have a script for Xarelto, and of course I can only have this readied each month, no 90 script. While attempting to pick up this script, it is discovered that the cost for 40 pills is $75. A bit beyond my means, But, there is HELP available through Jansen, that allows the script to be purchased for $10. Now each month I go to pick up script, not knowing what script is ready, and each time they want to charge me $75, and when they can't get the $10 charge to go through, they tell me to call my insurance co. (who will do nothing, it has to be done, with the process through CVS. So, now I have the instructions to inform whoever waits on me or answers the phone, in an attempt to be sure the script is ready for pick up at the right price. It is end of September and I tell the girl answering the phone that I have the instructions on how to process the charge. She leaves the phone for 10 minutes and comes back to say, you have to contact your insurance co. I get her to listen, and give the simple instructions in which she follows and in another 5 minutes comes back to say, "We got it to go through for you". We'll see when I pick it up tomorrow !!! read more

The store is great, just like any other CVS but the pharmacy however is absolute trash. They are rude, take forever to even acknowledge that you're standing there and dont seem to know how to do their jobs. Last time was the worst so far, I was told multiple times they didnt have my prescription to which I asked why did it say on my phone that it was sent to this store? Finally I pointed to a bag with the first two letters of my last name and asked if it was mine...and it was....not sure how they thought they didnt have it without even looking at the bags made and ready to go. read more

Never will I go to Cvs again! I have advice my co-workers and all my relatives and friends to pass the word out. I was there last week and the Pharmacist who's name is Lee that works there was making comments about me waiting there for my medication out loud. She was being so unprofessional. What makes matters worst was that I even call Sherry who took my complain and explain to me the the District Manager would be in contact with me. Here I am still not hear from her. This tells me that they support this kind of behavior. I will not support a company that has employees that makes remarks about a person and makes it into a show in front of customers. Ask yourself if they do this in front of you what else are they doing or sharing to others about your personal information. This CVS is located on 5010 South Florida Ave Lakeland Fl.
