WORST COMPANY EVER…read more CVS Caremark is the greediest, most despicable company out there. They are more than willing to deny coverage for any medication that your doctor prescribes, and shunt you off to an automated system to avoid having to answer for their denials. They will give you a canned response of "ask your doctor to appeal our decision" as if they have a right to get between you and your doctor's assessment of your need for medication. I 1000% despise CVS, and Caremark especially. They need to take the word "Care" out of their name, because care has NOTHING to do with it.

I've read recent complaints and all can be resolved by installing/using the CVS app: select notifications to get updates, add allergies to your profile, check prescription status and if it reads 'no refills' either request refills via the app or your provider (if you wait until you request a refill, there will be a delay).

Are people stealing tshirts, socks, underwear and more? I believe that their batteries are also this way too. Finding someone to open the case was not something I wanted to do, so I just drove across the street to TARGET where I could find what I wanted and I could make the purchase on my own - the selection was less, but I was more than happy NOT to have to seek out someone with a key to make a small purchase. (Apparently the clientele between these two stores is very different or perhaps it is just the way that Walmart handles it or treats their customers - I do find it insulting that the store has to lock up things or perhaps it is just sad... :-( ) In looking at he reviews, I see that someone else has commented on items locked up tight and the hassle she had to get to the item of interest: Bad customer service experience I asked for help three times and nobody could get somebody with a key for something small I wanted in the glass cases. They made an announcement to the store and there was still nobody until one woman noticed I was waiting and went across to the store to get a set. I guess this store has a lot of mistrust with people having keys that nobody has one ---- This just stresses the fact that I will continue to visit other Walmarts if that is the store I need for an item and avoid the Methuen store if at all possible. Safety Alert: The CVS on Swan Street Methuen ma has a very large hornet's nest in the tree line…read morealong Adelaide Ave, which is CVS property. The trees are badly overgrown, and the hornets are extremely aggressive--people walking by are being chased and stung. This is dangerous for neighbors, families, children, and anyone passing through. CVS must address this immediately by removing the nest and trimming back the trees. Until then, I'd strongly caution people to avoid walking near that area for their own safety.

I called daily to check on it and was told it would be ready and that I would receive a notification via text. It is now Friday, 11/3/23. I called early in the morning and was told they don't have insurance on file for me which made zero sense because I had a script filled two weeks ago and nothing has changed. I asked if I could give her my insurance information over the phone and she told me she didn't have time to do that and I should just bring it with me when I pick it up. She said she was filling it for me right at that time. 2 hours later I received a text that it was ready. Let me not forget to mention this female pharmacy tech was talking poorly about a customer being late to one of her co workers while on the phone with me and stated that is why she ignored him. Four hours after receiving the text to pick up the script, I arrived to the drive thru and was told that my insurance was cancelled. What?! I went home and called my insurance. She assured me the insurance was active and asked if I was going to the North Andover CVS. I said yes. She chuckled and asked me to hold while she called them. When she got back on the line she said that they were billing it wrong and when she told them what to do, she could see the approved paid claim come through. Told me I was all set to go back and pick it up. The insurance rep also told me the co pay would be $5.95. When I arrived again to 109 Main Street, the male tech said they have one ready. Then he comes back to tell me it WASN'T ready. But wait, he just told me it was and I explained I received a text hours ago that it was ready. He told me to circle back around in 10 minutes. I waited 15 minutes and went back through the drive-thru. The same tech told me he was having issues with their system. Then he states the co-pay would be $36.95. I just confirmed with CareMark that my co-pay would be $5.95. Then the female voice I spoke to earlier in the morning chimes in to say that she told me to come in with my insurance (that they've had in their system since July). I repeated that I went home and called CareMark and received confirmation that I'm all set and the script was approved. At this point I had enough of their deliberate rudeness and snarky responses. Told them to forget it, I'm going to a competent location and never coming back to this location again. I could hear them laughing as I drove away. When I got home, I called CareMark back and explained the whole situation again. The rep called 109 Main Street and after talking with the tech, he learned that all of the issues were from her entering my insurance information incorrectly and also that she set up the script as a self pay and it wasn't billing through my insurance. Come on now! This lack of attention caused an enormous inconvenience for me and others. Listen, I get it, CVS is short staffed, but the kind of people they are employing at this N. Andover location are awful. Zero customer service. The whole time I felt this was a game of cat and mouse and that they were enjoying every minute of it. Wow. What happened to work ethic, attention to detail, empathy and being a genuine customer service representative?!

Many employees can't understand English and are of no help. There are never enough open registers to check out and Friday thru Sunday forget it - the lines are very long and don't move because there are so few open registers. It's almost all self check out and usually only about 1/2 of the registers are active. I stopped going there on weekends. Many employees really take their time and even congregate to speak among themselves (in some foreign language) while ignoring the customers. The shelves are not properly stocked and prices are not accurate. Sale items are not properly marked; I bought some kitchen items recently that were marked on sale. When I checked out every item rang up at full price not the displayed sale price. The store always seems to be low on stock or running out of things. And I feel like I'm in some foreign country when I'm in the store. Avoid this place if you can.
