They have the standard 3 grades, diesel, non-ethanol gas, and an area for diesel and DEF fluid for semi-trucks to fuel up. It's conveniently located off of 421 so you can easily get off the highway, get what you need, and get back on the road. As a Shell station operated by Quality Oil, you can use both rewards systems. I have not had an issue with the Shell pay at the pump system at this location. There's some grassy area if you need to walk a dog. You might even see a truck hauling a load of pigs, which always is a delight for my littles.

It is, instead, overly stocked with items you would find in a "head shop" or the smoke shops that have popped up over the past few years. Overall, I try to avoid it now.

Something familiar from my youth that wasn't in Raleigh. I remember when I was in college, late at night after an evening dancing, we could always go "gulping" at the "sev". Sigh. Ah youth. From the first time I stopped in at this location, I have made up my mind that this one s where I will always get my gas. The location is perfect, on the way to 85. The pump area is always clean with the windshield cleaner always filled. The store itself has some surprises inside as well. It's just a treat that is less painful with the discounts given if you sign up for their rewards program. Stop by, get a gulp or slurpee, fill up and have a bright day!

Not only is it located practically on the UNC Campus in University Square adjacent to Granville Towers (which has its own security), but it's only a few doors down from a satellite office of the Chapel Hill Police Department. The staff is nice as well, even late into the night. If the party's gone dry, you need a late night sugar fix, or are just in search of this week's Vogue, Ken's will likely have it. And, more importantly, as safety has recently become an issue in Chapel Hill Ken's might be a wise choice.
