CVS Pharmacy 1100 E. Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY has the nastiest staff I ever dealt with. They treat you like a number, not a person They could care less if your prescription is available or not. And personally, one staff member in mind is simply rude (name to be announced) and the last two pharmacists behind the counter are just full of themselves and think who they are. however, I must give an incredible rating to one young lady that works there. Her name is Margaret. Margaret should work in a high end highly rated pharmacy, not 1100 E. Post Road. That place does not do Margaret any justice. . read more

When I tell you this is the worst CVS Pharmacy I've ever been to... I've lived for nearly two decades in two major cities, and the ladies at this pharmacy in the friggin sleepy a$$ burbs are the most unhappy pharmacists I've ever encountered. I try so hard to be so kind to the pharmacists like they're my abusive mothers. Legit. Often they will not say hi or bye. Often they will treat you like a moron if you don't know all of their policies. Often you will feel like you did something wrong. Almost every single time. When they are occasionally nice, I tell my husband like it's the craziest thing that's ever happened. "The pharmacist was in a good mood today!" "Wow," he says, astonished, as they've only ever treated us both like scum of the earth. Long grey-brown haired white lady appears deeply unhappy, I feel for her, but she is so mean and usually doesn't say hi, bye or look at anyone. Blonde lady will sass people frequently, I get treated like a 12 year old, though occasionally it seems like she's trying. Black younger lady was nice then suddenly turned on me as I said genuinely "thanks so much have a good night!" as if I had just threatened to hurt her family. Literally stared at me with a death stare as I drove away, as she said absolutely nothing. Literally ladies I'm just trying to get my meds so I don't die. They randomly and for long periods shut the drive through due to the "cash register" being "broken." It's so crazy how it breaks for months on end every time they're understaffed! So weird! I realize the pharmacists here (and all pharmacists) are underpaid and understaffed. You deserve more from your company. That said, it's not my fault; I'm just trying to get my meds so I can maintain my composure in the face of also being taken advantage of by my corporate overlords. It's failure of the managers of this CVS that this pharmacy is hellish to visit, and they should hire people who understand people. To be rude daily to sick people who just want to feel ok is monstrous. Also, I know for fact it goes against CVS policy to shorten store hours randomly for months at a time. The Sharpie on the hours sign never fools anyone. Everyone, go to the one next to North Shore Farms instead. read more

Have been coming to this location for over 20 years and I am never one to go out of my way to write a negative review but todays experience put me in the mood. Was at the location a few days ago and realized when I got home that I did not get a coupon credit. The person mentioned that I should stop by the next day so that a manager could make the adjustment. I returned 2 days later and the Manager said that the coupon I was attempting to use was a new one that was issued today. I told her that I loaded it on my card days ago and she said it was not possible ( basically called me a liar) then she proceeded to credit the coupon but I told her from experience that you can not credit to an HSA card ( once again told me I was incorrect) from experience I know that I would not get the credit. I decided to walk out since she was clearly not the best customer service rep. Been coming here since the early 90's must have spent $$$$$$$ over the years. Will no longer go to this location . Trotta's in Harrison a few blocks away has great client service and will be my new location for prescriptions going forward. This incident did not happen in the Pharmacy they are very helpful but it just takes one bad experience to change an opinion. read more

The older woman with the long grayish hair who rings up people behind the pharmacy counter clearly hates her job. For years now I've always given her the benefit of the doubt that she was having a bad day but clearly that is not the case when she acts the same way all the time. She is just miserable and she is just plain awful to deal with. Often there's a younger blonde woman who is just a delight and is just so sweet but sadly I haven't seen her in awhile. i have lived in mamaroneck for over a decade and i have never experienced more hateful and rude staff ever. there is one person in particular (TBA) that has the worst attitude ever. my son has been telling me that the staff yells at him, cuts him off, and hunted him down in the store because he misplaced one item. but it is only with my son, when my son is with his sister, or me, he acts so perfect and nice but when my son is alone, he is outrageous. my son asked for help and this particular staff member didn't make eye contact, didn't stop to talk to him, when he was roaming around in the aisles doing nothing when he just wanted to know if they sold something. this staff member had a disgusting attitude and basically screamed at him that they don't sell it here. my son has gone as far as trying to avoid him as much as he can and see if he can figure it out himself before asking a staff member since he is just tired of all the things he has gone through with this staff member. all the other staff members are awesome in doing their work, it's just this one that is giving a hard time with my son. i would also like to mention, before this incident happened, he was talking to his friend laughing and smiling but when it came to my son he completely changed his emotions and how he looked. read more

Wow. Absolutely rude female pharmacist. I am here with my 80 yr old father getting a prescription filled and there was an issue with his insurance card. The pharmacist was totally unhelpful and completely rude. Actually yelled at him. I was stunned and surprised. I can not believe she was so unprofessional and treated an elderly man so rudely. My wife went for shingle shot and based on her medical his the pharmacist needed to talk to her dr. We left on them afternoon and didn't expect a call to follow up. We were wrong, that evening the pharmacist called to say he had spoken to her DT and all was good. Phil DeLuca is one of the best pharmacists I have ever dealt with. He knows his stuff, and my insurance. He particularly helped when my wife and I went through in vitro fertilization. He got us the drugs at a very low price for the ones that were not covered by insurance. read more

So apparently, you can get a text confirmation without an actually prescription being filled. Who knew?? I didn't. It's a flaw in their system. The female employee was so rude and sarcastic and was accusatory rather than understanding the miscommunication that CVS initiated. Please, CVS management. Do something about these employee's lack of customer patience and service. read more

Not a bad cvs. It is a bigger location and it has a drive thru pharmacy which is nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend going here but however it isn't a 24/7 CVS so gotta make it before they close. read more

It was no surprise when I spoke to my son's pediatrician who sadly reported he has had numerous complaints regarding this particular pharmacy. I don't know what all the negative reviews come from, but to me they were wonderful!!! I walked in asked cashier I needed help with make-up, she called somebody very politely. That wonderful girl came , I told what I wanted, & she got everything I asked for. I don't about make-up, she did.Her name is Joy, and she was truly Joyful, A STELLAR person. I later went to pharmacy, and they were very nice & polite. Maybe sometimes it's the way people confront them!!! Be nice and you, and you will be treated nice. You go girl!! a good cvs in mamaroneck on east post rd that has a drive thru for some of us who are lazy. it's spacious inside with the usual cvs layout and products. it's not open 24/7 but that's ok cause the area is usually a ghost town after midnight. a large outdoor parking lot as well. the place is kept clean , fully stocked and organized with workers that are ready to help if needed. the pharmacy dept is in the back which seems where most are at cvs. i stopped by on sunday before i headed to white plains to pick up a few goodies and recalled that the last time i was inside was a bunch of years ago. it's cvs folks so don't forget to use your cvs card . read more
