It turns out that prescriptions cost a little less-so it's a win-win. WALGREENS called the other location and had them forward my other prescriptions. Easy peasy!!! And they have cosmetics, snacks, drinks and more, so I had some time to look around while I waited for my order. Great location for me, too.

The guy that charged us looked like he just wanted the few days left to be over. We weren't greeted nor was he smiling when charging us. Sam's sells larger quantities, sizes, and bulk items of many products, so expect to find larger packages or sizes than a regular grocery store. They don't always carry the same brands or items every time, so you get what you find that works for you, but most of the time they have plenty of things we need at great prices. On some kinds of items, basic needed things, they're pretty consistent at having in stock, but specialized items or certainly brands or certainly food items may vary. Still, we have consistently saved considerably more than our annual membership cost. ...and sometimes with only one visit. This Sam's can be crowded at peak times. But if you can get there first thing in the morning crowds won't be a problem. Sam's rotisserie chicken is great for less than $5, and they are significantly larger than the ones found at Walmart or other grocery stores. I recently found an excellent name brand winter shirt for only $13... that's less than a sale at Burlington! I also found some huge flower pots I needed for only $20 each... they would have been at least twice that anywhere else. I like our Sam's Club and have never had any problem with service.

This is also one of the few Walgreens that is opened 24 hours a day. I've had to come here before at extremely late hours. Other Walgreens in the surrounding area aren't open 24 hours, but this one is and that makes it very dependable. There is a Redbox on the outside of Walgreens, which makes it ideal to rent movies when you have nothing to do. This place used to be the place were I would buy video game magazines, as their magazine selection is extensive. However, I tried doing that recently and I couldn't find a single one. They seem to have gotten rid of those magazines so I was disappointed on that. For your medical or beauty needs, this is the place to go.
