We stopped by this QT on the way back home to fill up, use the restroom, and grab some coffee for the road. This is one of the older QTs, not Gen 3, that has been retrofitted to offer many of the same features of a modern Gen 3 store. The property is much smaller than the newer stores. However, they've still managed to fit in 20 pumps at this gas station. I've had QT Kitchens cold brew coffee at several locations in Georgia and South Carolina and the results have varied. You order cold brew using a touchscreen and your order is customizable. For example, I added sweet cream and vanilla to this particular order. I like sweet and creamy coffee, but not too sweet. This one tasted OK. It had a slight artificial aftertaste that I didn't like. I'm not sure if it was from the cream or vanilla flavoring. The coffee also tasted a little cheap, but that's sort of to be expected from a $1.99 "large" cup of coffee from a convenience store. The caffeine wasn't very strong either, but overall, the coffee was fine and served its purpose (for the most part). The men's restroom was clean enough. TL;DR - An older QT, not as new or nice as the Gen 3 stores, but it still gets the job done.

The gas pumps outside are clean to use. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Always have a smile on there face and very welcoming. I spent a bit of time in this area for work and got very accustomed to this QT for those gas prices, fountain drinks and slices of pizza! It is in good condition given the amount of traffic it gets and is a good area surrounded by quite a bit. Cleanliness wise it was hit and miss for me. On some days I would swing by without issue and on others it would look as if the store and lot had not been cleaned in several days. Service here was equally hit and miss. Nothing terrible, but not your friendliest. Overall, I love me a good QT and while this location is not my favorite, I would not mind swinging back in when in the area.

I was greeted by the presumed owner like I was a long lost relative with a hearty "Welcome!" and when I checked out, he cracked a little joke, asked me politely about my day, and said "please" and "thank you" at every possible turn. And then he asked if he could help carry my bag to my car (which held a 6-pack and two big waters, and I had other stuff in hand, so it was a totally appropriate but unexpected offer). That is an extremely sharp contrast to the general disdain and annoyance I've encountered at the gas stations and convenience stores on my long route- about 20 hours at this point. And while I hold no grudges, and would, surely, be super annoyed myself in that job, that only supports my point of exceptionalism in the mundane. And if I someone else stops here, instead of across the street, as a result... then let's score one for kindness and good graces.
