This CVS is one of the most unprofessional pharmacies I've ever dealt with. Prescriptions go missing, deliveries are delayed, and staff, including Dr. Chris Harris, have been openly rude and disrespectful. In one call, he used profanity and hung up on me instead of resolving a lost paid order. I've filed multiple complaints with CVS corporate and even with the Florida Board of Pharmacy, but the issues continue. No one should have to worry about being mistreated or denied medication. Avoid this location until serious changes are made. read more

I wish I could say better things about this CVS but the costumer service and overall experience is always mediocre. I usually come here for prescriptions and although this is where I send all my medications to, they always seem to either not have it ready on time or they steer me in 100 different directions. The staff get in a bad mood when you ask for help and when told them that my prescription was ready and online it stated this location they simply do not care and disregard what I have to say. Parking is also impossible, so it's definitely a spot to walk over to if you live around the area. read more

Avoid at all costs. The pharmacist will have you publicly announce whatever prescription you're picking up and suggest he's unable to even order your prescription. Truly have no idea how he even got his certification. Oh, and they won't pick up your call regardless of how long you wait. CVS pharmacies have a bad rep generally, but this one really embodies that. read more

It's 24 hours and is a full size store and has 3 self checkouts. That's about where the positives end. Prices on a lot of the groceries are way high, while some seem in line with other stores. I wanted to buy a pre made sub and salad, but they have no condiment packets and no small dressing packs, and I don't like dry food. Jars of plain peanuts are crazy high. Customer wifi never fully connects. Dollar General is 1 block down. Might wanna try that to save money. read more

The coupon system is always cumbersome and I would say... misleading. But the worst problem is how the customer service assistants can be so irritating when explaining anybody how to do it. They treat you with condescending manner when dealing with issues at the register, kind of blaming you for doing things wrongs. I haven't met a polite or gentle customer service representative at the DIY registers at this place in years. read more

I have been here frequently when I happen to be in downtown. The coupon machine always works compared to most other places. Place gets busy. Large store and lay out is little different than most due to infrastructure. The have Miami souvenirs. They try not to do personal counter check outs and make everyone do self check out which annoys me because it's easy for little items and when not using coupons but just takes such a long time. And then always one is not taking cash or whatever problem. No parking unless you're really lucky in the street. To avoid at night because neighborhood although it's been getting better with new bars and venues opening around. read more

If I could give this cvs -10. I would. How do you lose a prescription I dropped off yesterday? Just so incompetent. I'm sorry they need to do some type of training at this pharmacy. Took them a whole hour to find it but then goes to tell me they only have one of the two in stock! Never again. Most disorganized pharmacy I ever been to. 23 minutes on hold for the pharmacy is just unacceptable. The answering machine is obnoxious. For 23 minutes I had to listen to a guy ask me if I wanted a flu shot or a Covid booster. Just play music if you're going to make me sit here that long. Went to Walgreens. read more

This is a very poorly run pharmacy. The pharmacy staff is consistently rude on the phone. I am put on hold for long periods of time. They take 4 hours to fill urgently needed emergency medicine prescriptions. I hate this place. read more

It's a CVS so you know what you're getting, but I like this place because they have self-check only, no cashiers to slow you down. That said, the prices are REALLY high compared to Dallas. Good selection of what you need, and face it, there is no competition around so this is it for downtown. read more

Gross, gross, gross. There are boxes all over the floors, stains on the carpets, and the bathroom doesn't even have a toilet paper holder. If I didn't have to use the water closet I would have ran out of there. We came in for Advil and face cream and I feel like I have to shower. At least we saved a dollar because we have the CVS card. I will say its nice to be greeted, unfortunately it's a filthy store. read more

Came in with my friend to buy alcohol, there was a homeless guy who was laying down on the ground a the door to get AC I thought he had fainted for a minute, poor guy LOL Miami is hot though! We were surprised to find out that CVS and Walgreens in Miami doesn't sell liquor! Ughhh I don't know if it has to do with licensing or something. We ended up having to walk a few blocks to get liquor elsewhere. read more

There's a lot of stuff jammed into this seemingly-small CVS in the heart of Downtown. But for the ease of the self-checkout lanes alone, this place earns 4 stars! The staff never seems to appear, even when summoned. I think I spent a good 10 minutes waiting for someone to unlock the toothbrush heads one afternoon, so I usually try to avoid getting things that require customer assistance. But they have all your pharmacy and drugstore needs, so if you're not one to dawdle and peruse the aisles, it's easy to get in and out in less than 10 minutes. For some reason, a lot of people don't seem to get the self-checkout lanes. But more people should, cause they're easy to use and most importantly for us busy Downtown workers - they're fast. I prefer CVS to Walgreens, and will happily walk the extra block to this CVS location rather than hit the Walgreens in my office building. read more

One of the managers (a young man in his 20s-30s with dirty blonde hair) at this location is a real jerk. I wanted to return a defective CVS brand deodorant stick and he gave me an incredibly hard time. I argued and argued and he finally gave in to my demands, but with a "I will do it this time, but I won't allow you to get an exchange next time." That is not proper protocol and a customer should never feel as if you're doing HIM/HER a favor. Ever hear of the customer is always right? Considering their own product was defective, the proper response would have been to apologize that the CVS-brand deodorant's dispenser is poorly manufactured and quickly given me a replacement, without giving me a hard time, or making me wait over 10 minutes for a cashier to acknowledge it's an even exchange because it is the same product as what I originally brought in. You better believe I will be calling corporate and complaining about this individual's treatment toward me because no one should have to be treated in such a condescending manner! In the meantime, I will avoid this location as much as I can, despite the fact it is convenient to my place of employment. Having worked at CVS over a decade ago and not even in a managerial capacity, I knew better than to treat people this way, and these are the types of employees you have as "managers" and ambassadors to the store? This CVS saved my vacation! I flew into Miami from NY and my medication fell out of my bag. We quickly googled the nearest CVS around the Port of Miami. We were also looking to purchase some wine to carry on board. Killed 2 birds with one stone. I was actually pretty bummed at first because the first pharmacy staff member I spoke to was actually no help at all and she told me some BS info..made me call around to get some extra info needed because she told me she couldn' find me in our system because I wasn't from Miami. So when I called around and finally got all the info I needed, I went back to the counter where Kiara, confirmed that I didnt need anything, she was able to find me and filled my RX within 20 minutes. Seriously, I couldn't thank her enough. Minus 1 star for the girl who couldn't help and the huge nasty dead roach on the pharmacy floor by the seats. P.S. For anyone who sees this and may be in the same situation. A cab to here from the airport is $24...and from here to the port is about $9 read more

Awesome CVS right below my apartment complex. They are open 24 hours which is definitely very convenient and allows me to run my errands at the times I need to considering my busy schedule. This store has everything I need, from common household items, health and beauty products, light groceries, and even a good beer and wine selection for those last minute pickups. The store is pretty spacious and the layout makes it easy to get around. Despite being downtown, it never gets too crowded. Also well organized so its easy to find what you need quickly. The employees are also pretty friendly and helpful. Getting out is also a breeze. They have self checkout that is easy to navigate and assists with getting people out quickly. Ive never had to wait too long, so that makes me happy. To top it off, they frequently have great sales with a CVS extracare card, so I have made a few bulk purchases to save extra money in my pockets- who doesnt love that? read more

What's there to really say about CVS? I get my prescriptions filled here and never had any problems. They are ready for pick up on time and check out is done 1-2-3. When there is a problem, say with your insurance, they call you. All the pharmacists speak English (yes!) and are friendly (double-yes!). The store itself is clean and well organized. The self check out counters help with lines. Only negative? No parking. read more

My wife stopped by this location to fill her prescription before going on a cruise. Being a citizen of Mexico, she used her Mexico passport for identification. She was told that they will not accept Mexican passports as identification. I can't tell you how angry I am. I have to add a star to post. read more

I don't know how this CVS received any higher than a 1 star rating. DO NOT GO TO THIS CVS TO FILL YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS. IT IS THE WORST SERVICE. I had mine transferred after I waited on the phone for 15 minutes one time, another time I sat at the drive through for 30 minutes when they kept telling me they'd be right with me, and then I waited 20 minutes in line to pick up the prescriptions. I needed to fill a basic antibiotic and they told me they were so backed up it would take three hours. For PENICILLIN? Lastly, the parking lot is SO seedy and scary. Especially at night. There are like homeless people all around and one guy tried to make me pay him because he instructed me how to back into a spot. I'm pretty sure I didn't even look at him while I was backing in. I went in yesterday to pick you 4 prescriptions. I called the day before to have them transferred over from Publix since they no longer take my insurance. I verified with the lady on the phone that they took my insurance. She said yea. I called the next day to see if my prescriptions were transferred, the pharmacist said yea but you cannot get them till the afternoon when her techs arrive. I said fine. I went in around 6pm (they close at 8). The insurance wasn't out in the system after I verified it. The tech was doing all the work while the pharmacist and some other guy were just talking. The tech finally got the pharmacist involved. My question for them is why didn't you tell me the insurance didn't go though. Why did you have me come before you figured out what was wrong. The pharmacist used the excuse she was tired and she had a bad day with other customers. If that's the case she should have went home before she messes up someone's meds. I asked for the district managers info they said call the 800 number. When a prescription is over 200 it should raise a flag that the insurance did not go through. She calls me insurance company and they said cvs isn't part of their network. All this could have been avoided if the person who took my I so would have checked if my insurance was accepted. read more

Man, we could really use a CVS like this near me. They had an aisle strictly for wines at a Pharmacy. We don't have that in New York, may be they should take notes and start! Believe it or not it wasn't just low budget wine either. They didn't have anything too top shelf but they did have some very decent lower to early mid range priced brands. It was much more than I expected. They also had some strange beers that I'd never seen before. I racked up on what I needed to to bring back to my hotel room during the course of my visit and a few toiletries that I also forgot to bring. This CVS served my purposes well. At self service check out the security guard also even offered to hold our umbrellas for us and return the shopping cart. read more

This CVS was definitely one of the most busiest i've ever visited. I believe it has something to do with being so close to the Port of Miami (I'm just guessing). I went in there for 2 things and came out with 15. For me that is a hard thing to do because I hate spending my money on irrelevant things, but this time was different. I live and work nearby and go to this CVS every week. It is busy during the week, but usually has whatever I need. Most people who work here are good and are pretty happy to help you. There are a few exceptions, for example there is a woman named Zarda who is lazy and should be fired. I asked her for help finding something and she flat out lied to me and told me they didn't have any more rather than try to look. I could sense that she was just being lazy, so I walked to the other side of the store and asked someone else, and they got exactly what I needed. I would give this CVS 4 stars except for people like Zarda which deserve 0 and bring down the average. read more

I came in for a Sunday Paper since Starbucks was sold out of the local variety. Being one of the few places open on a Sunday in Downtown has its perks -- CVS was packed! The management was obviously aware of this since there was a full staff to help with all of the customers. Now if only the corporate headquarters would have installed more cash registers. Oh well, I was able to purchase my newspaper without any issues. read more

It's the closest thing I'll get to Shoppers in the states. This CVS had everything we wanted for our hotel. We bought water and juice (for our drinks) and we were able to get snacks that would keep us in between meals. I was able to find larger sizes of my fav vitaminwater. It's everything I would hope to find in Shoppers for roughly about the same prices. read more
