Zero rating!! Quite possibly the WORST pharmacy I have been to in my life. They never have anything in stock but don't bother to let you know, they tell you they will fill your script yet you wait days for your script to be filled, getting sicker by the day, they don't bother to answer the phone or let you know if it has been filled, instead they tell you to leave a message and the pharmacy will call you back in 24 hours, yet another lie, as they never bother to call you back, the staff says they aren't allowed to answer the phone or call back messages, so why does the recording say you'll call back within 24 hours?! So you drag your sick self down to the pharmacy only to be RUDLEY told they didn't bother to do the ONLY job they have - FILL YOUR SCRIPTS! Mike should not be working with people, he clearly HATES people and hates his job, no hello, no how are you just a sour look, even when you say hello, he just keeps rudely saying 'date of birth' then blames the 'people in the office' for the lack of customer service, it's their fault no one answers the phone, it's their fault no filled a script FIVE days after it was called in. NEVER using them again as this is the third time we dealt with the same nonsense. Moved into this area a few months ago. Every time I need a prescription filled it's an issue. Last 2 experiences, my Rx was sent by my Dr to this pharmacy. Rx is not in stock. They advised me it will be in the next day. Next day passes, no notification from this pharmacy. 3 days later, I really need my Rx. No one has called me! I call and am told it's not in stock yet, this is unacceptable customer service! . They advised ME to call another pharmacy and they will send my Rx over to another pharmacy!! Thankfully, the other smaller pharmacy has stock and is able to fill immediately!! Today, my Dr sent over a different Rx. Not ready, it's only 45 minutes later. I advised the staff I would wait in the store. This is 4:10pm. They are not happy. I'm waiting in store and they show it. At 4:14, I get a notification my Rx is ready... They told me 1hr wait. I go up to one of the stations to clarify if it is in fact ready...rude woman states yes. Go wait on line. I said I have already waited on line...she says wait on the line, yet again. There are 8 people ahead of me. No one called me to let me know my Rx was, in fact, ready. I spent a total of 1 hour waiting on line between both interactions of this pharmacy!! Pharmacy Mgr was no help, even though I requested to speak with him. He ignored my request and sent the store manager to help me. I appreciate this is a very busy business and they seem to be severely understaffed, by customer service is important also. They did nothing, only making vety a poor, inept attempt to pacify me. I have been in the health care profession for 30 yrs. People are sick, requiring Rx's and possibly a little psychological first aid when sick, this place is the worst. I will be switching to the full stocked smaller family pharmacy across the street. Disgraceful customer service!!! read more

FYI, if you're looking for a prescription, don't trust the automated system. It works well when the RX you're looking for is readily available, but if you're looking for something in short supply, good luck. Twice now I've called in my prescription, and twice now I was told by the automated system it would be there. Twice now I've shown up, but the prescription wasn't. They did call around to find another pharmacy that had it, but even THEY couldn't get through to another local pharmacy. No one actually answers the phone. I've been sitting here waiting for about a half hour now while they take care of nonstop customers. Really disappointed with the way they handle things. read more

I called CVS on Rte. 35 in Middletown NJ to ask what I needed to do to get a particular vaccine. On the phone the told me, "We don't take appointments for that. You just walk-in." The next day i walkers into the store and inquired about the vaccine and the tech said, "Let me aka the pharmacist if they're doing that." The pharmacist said, "we don't take walk-ins. You need to call and make an appointment." So, clearly, this team is incompetent and their internal communication is terrible. They didn't run my prescription through my insurance and told me they did and tried to charge me over $100. I called my insurance and was told that CVS never contacted them and my charge for the prescription should have been $5.99. This has happened to me twice at the Middletown CVS. read more
