I hate the policy where you pay for the drug, then you HAVE to have a consult with the pharmacist. THEY WILL NOT give you your meds even if you took the drug in the past and tell them you understand the instructions. Nope. bNot state or federal law, just Walmart policy. I won't wait in a line, after I've paid, so a pharmacist can tell me to "take one each day with food" - just like it says on the bottle, or whatever the case may be. The prices are nuts. I got a generic Rx, common drug, and was surprised to have a large copay of $69 with a drug plan! I shopped around and saw that Walmart charged much more than other local pharmacies. I refilled it at Osco and my copayment? $17. I'm done with them. ALWAYS check prices - GoodRx.com is a good one that will give you prices from a number of nearby pharmacies.
