This place has always been bad but now it really in the past year has turned into the worst Pharmacy ever.The past 6 months virtually every time a prescription has been sent they can't find it.Once in awhile you can get someone that understands English and finds it.They don't check messages to get prescriptions and the scripts are always there, but they don't monitor the computer to get the scripts.I can't believe it's now runned by a bunch of idiot foreigners from countries that hate America.They arnt nice, The are lazy and clueless.This one cashier at the pharmacy with a towel wrapped around her head looked at me for 5 minutes like I was speaking English.The Pharmacist in duty sits down and in his foreign accent and attitude says he d know and didn't even try to find the scripts There is some American Workers there that really try, but thesr foreigners are nasty and lazy read more

Terrible! After I paid for my prescription, the pharmacy tried to make me go to the back of the line because my prescription was not yet ready. Had I done what they told me to, I would have stood in line. TWICE. Given the number of people in line, my second time through would have probably forced me to wait another twenty minutes. For a prescription I had already paid for. To make matters worse, the guy who rang me up made no mention of the fact that I would have to get back in line. It was only after I asked to speak with the pharmacist that my prescription was somehow miraculously ready. On top of this, the men's room was filthy, with urine on the toilet seat, toilet seat covers on the floor, and no toilet paper. When I mentioned this to a cashier at the suggestion of a pharmacy tech, I was told that the bathroom wouldn't be cleaned until midnight due to a lack of staff. read more

I've come to this CVS for quite a few years and I'm also surprised about the low ratings that they have gotten from others... The store is very clean and well kept... The staff on the store side are always friendly, helpful and will go the extra mile... They are also the front line of the store monitoring people as they come in... Making sure that people are wearing masks as they enter... They will tell you that a mask is required to shop there... The pharmacy section is open 24 hours... The staff in this area is also friendly and helpful... I don't get any medication here but my wife does... She has never been turned away because of a lack of anything she has needed... read more

There was something off with the way the system registered the card and they were very unfriendly and wouldn't help me with it. I'll be going somewhere else instead now. This has to be one of the worst locations, specifically the pharmacy. The staff have to be the most apathetic individuals around. Just a plethora of issues ranging from prescriptions not being filled even after a doctors office attempts to contact the pharmacy and it goes straight to their voicemail. Doctors office leaves a voicemail requesting that a prescription be filled. I go into the pharmacy and voila, no prescription request was received according to the pharmacy staff. So, do they even check their voicemail? Most likely not. And I can verify the correct location was contacted. So, Mt. Laurel CVS pharmacy you get zero stars, if I could give you that, for all of the above reasons. read more

Going to pick up a prescription here is a good reminder of why I choose to use mail order pharmacies. Everytime I've picked a prescription here there's a line. Every time-it doesn't matter if it's 2 in the afternoon or 9 at night I wait for 30 minutes in line. My latest experience-I wait in the pick-up line. When it's finally my turn, they inform me that since my insurance changed I should have gotten into the drop-off line to change the insurance info first and then gotten into the pickup line. They have no way of changing the insurance info at the pickup counter. So, after waiting 20 minutes in line to pick up my prescription, I had to get into another line, wait again, only to be told that "for our purposes this doesn't count as an insurance change." Well thanks for wasting my time. My last few experiences have been this way. I will receive a text that my prescription is ready and wait in the line, only to be told that the text was a mistake and I can now wait for another 30 minutes while they fill it. No apology. I guess the folks at CVS think we like just standing in line. read more

Should be -5 not zero stars, but we work with what we've got. Absolutely the worst pharmacy in existence. So slow and incompetent. They just gave me the wrong dosage. Should have gotten 3 pills, they only gave me 2. When I tried to call them, they no longer give the option to speak with someone, you have to leave a message for a callback. I drive all the way back, and the person tells me that my insurance only covers 2 pills at a time, that I'd need to come back in a few days for the third. I asked if I could just pay for the 3rd pill now so I wouldn't have to come back. They said it would be $14 and be ready in 15 minutes. The drive thru person was utterly miserable. How about the first time I was there, they tell me that and give me the option to pay for the 3rd pill? Wouldn't that have been easier for everyone, and you know, basic customer service. What's with this place? Their employees are either rude, slow and/or dumb. Also; when I went to get the 3rd pill, the drive thru person actually said, "is there insurance on file, because nothing is listed". Am I being punked? read more

My rating is negative 1,000. 15 hours to get my Covid medicine today From 8 pm last night to 11 am today.Nasiest female pharmacist in history. Store wouldn't answer phone for CVS customer service. Asked three people to get district manager to call me and no response. Had to get the prescription transferred. Stay away they will cause you to put your health in danger. Contacting all major news outlets and have contacted the NJ State pharmaceutical board. BEWARE THIS US THE WORST PHARMACY IN CVS CHAIN AND IN ALL of NJ. Join me for protest outside store on Sunday. District Manager doesn't respond. Store won't give me the name and contact information for the district manager. Customer service reps at headquarters don't even speak clear English. BEWARE BEWARE. Store manager also not helpful. Help me get this store shut down before someone is seriously sickened from the pharmacists not doing their job. They need more staff in pharmacy. Lines are always long and you tend to stand in it for a long time. Best practice is to not pick up prescriptions during the times normal humans roam about. It's a 24 hour location so late nights is best. Using the app for express script pickup is worthless as you still must wait in line. read more

This is possibly the worst CVS I've been to. They claim to be 24hrs, but close between 1330-1430. Where I fully appreciate people have to eat lunch, what I don't understand is why lunch can't be staggered, rather than the whole pharmacy closing during the day. Then we get to the time it takes to actually see someone at the counter, typically you need at least 30mins to just pick up an order that is ready. You will usually see 6-10 people behind the pharmacy, but typically only one person serving customers. Plan on taking half a day off work if you have to come to this location because you will always be waiting in a massive line, if they're actually open. read more

It does not matter what time you go to pick up refilled prescriptions- your wait inside or drive thru is easily at a minimum 20 minutes plus. The worst is going several times to the drive thru and there are 8 cars waiting...don't even go inside for pickup as it no better. Refilled a prescription 7 days in advance , told it would be ready that day by 11 am that day. The drive thru was a hot mess did this three times, fourth time decided to wait after 25 minutes and was told it's out of stock. No text etc as to the status. 5 phone calls disconnected 4 times , the phone dial wonderland says status is in process - it was supposed to be refilled again and it's not done, this is medication for a asthmatic so it's urgent. The service is abysmal , prices are ridiculous for their products the convenience part is losing its status and deserves a zero for stars. STAY AWAY! read more

Drive up lines always too long. Inside pharmacy lines always too long, no matter what time of day. Not enough employees working. Staff there does double the work, always looking stressed out, & some customers blame them, & it's not their fault. Taking my needs to Walgreen's & ShopRite pharmacies. Wake up, CVS, your customer service is horrible. And a customer needed Amoxicilin for his 5 year old & was told they had none in stock. Really. Fix it. I love this CVS. It's convenient, always open, and I like being able to get my prescriptions at different times. USUALLY I can be in and out of the drive through in 5-10 min. However, whenever Joseph D is working in the pharmacy window- I am waiting 20-30 minutes. Please for the love of GOD stop making me wait so long for a prescription. The people running the pharmacy couldn't run a lemonade stand. If you are in urgent need of medication do yourself a favor and start working on a cure yourself. It'll be faster than waiting on the pharmacists to figure out how to do their job. If you're a veteran, just drive an hour into Philly, drive by the VA, and then drive right off a cliff. It'd be faster and more reliable than picking up medication at the pharmacy. Veterans aren't welcomed here and are treated like villains. The people working at the pharmacy do not care about your well-being. They are rude, moronic, communist hippies. When, not if, because they for sure will, but when they make a mistake, they will blame you and give you a rude condescending attitude. You will get better customer service at the DMV or Port Authority. These people should be working helping hands at Wegmans, not running a pharmacy. read more

Typically have gotten pretty reasonable service at this location, not fast, but the help has been somewhat professional, until today. Went to get two prescriptions filled and was assisted by a young man named Jason who was rude in his demeanor and abrupt in his responses. My advice for people like Jason is that he should probably look for another line of work. See, with this location being so busy, the management of this location has forgotten to teach their staff that people have choices and politeness, courtesy and professionalism still matter. I needed a compounded ointment that all pharmacies do not do so I asked the pharmacist when I dropped off the script if they'd be able to do it. He told me yes and then when I went to pick it up they did not have the medication ready for me. They informed me that they were unable to fill the prescription and that they called me to tell me that they couldn't do it. I asked them to confirm they had he correct phone number on file, and they did have the correct number, however they never called me. In my mind they lied to me twice, once telling me they could do something when they couldn't and then again when they told me they called to let me know. I don't have any missed calls on my phone. Terrible organization. Scares me that they're handling such important and dangerous medications. Update: Found a much better place!! Went to Mark at Stine's and received fantastic service. CVS as a brand name store has really gone down hill over the years. However, this is one of the better ones in the area. Their pharmacy is open 24 hours, which is a big plus for emergency needs. Like other CVS's, they are typically out of the prescription medicines you need. They call me to remind me that I need refills and then don't have the meds to do the refill that they just told me I needed. Also, they typically call me in for a script that's been filled, and I find out it hasn't and have to wait the 20 minutes while they do it. As for over the counter stuff, they always seem well stocked. And they are 24 hours, so that's the part of the store that keeps them at 2 stars. Their staff is lethargic at best and will never be found dead in an aisle where they might be on hand to help you. But, dead behind the counters, they can usually give you an aisle number for the item you seek. Again, this keeps them at 2 stars read more

Although the prices are heavily inflated, I still shop here because of the ease. The coupons given out after purchases are sometimes helpful. Just awful. The only reason I have stuck around is because it is 24 hours. They have maybe 2 or 3 competent techs, but the pharmacists are so over worked, that every time I have an issue. I even once received 2 different kinds of pills in one bottle. I only noticed because I used to be a pharmacy technician. If I had taken one of the wrong pills I would have been in the hospital. I called the store, I called corporate, they seemed concerned but never did anything about it. It boils down to they are over worked and make MANY mistakes. Be weary and always check that your number of pills is correct, the days supply is correct, and that it was run through your insurance. It is all on the front of the blue label stapled to the bag. If you're a military couple, don't waste your time trying to get prescriptions from here since tricare canceled their contract with them. You'll have to pay full price. Go to Walgreens. After waiting 20-30minutes in line for the prescription, we found this out and they said they will call over to Walgreens across the street to transfer the order. My wife and I went to Walgreens and waited an hour for Walgreens to get a hold of CVS across the street. CVS lets their phones ring constantly without answering them, we left Walgreens and went home. We came home and waited 2 additional hours and called Walgreens to find out that they still haven't been able to reach CVS. These people literally let their phones ring constantly and don't bother to pick them up. In the meantime my wife is in pain. In summary, I would be embarrassed about this stores customer service and will NEVER shop here again for anything. There's no surprise tricare canceled the contract with them, military actually cares about their service members and wouldn't tolerate this. read more

Their pharmacy is awful. Even at 7:30pm there is a line, angry employees and just chaos behind the desk. I was told by the tech 30 minutes, so I waited. Five minutes later I was told by another tech that it would take 2 hours to fill my script and again this is at 7:30 at night. I just find it completely ridiculous the inability to fill a prescription you know a customer is waiting for. I would gladly wait 30 minutes, but 2 hours is unnecessary. With any other CVS I get alerts as soon as my script is filled and ready for pick up, odd I never received an alert for this script. I will never go back to this pharmacy, even if they are 24 hrs. Sadly this is not my first bad experience here, but it will be my last. read more

This CVS is located right up the road from me. Out of convenience, I go her once in a blue moon. It's open 24 hours, which is nice, in case of emergency. But the prices here , compared to Target, or Walmart are pricey. I just go for emergency cases. The store is well lit, nicer one, since its in Mt.Laurel..but it's OK. read more

This pharmacy is so ANNOYING. Every single time I call to talk to someone in the pharmacy I am on hold for 10 minutes + just waiting for someone to pick up. If you're that busy then you need to hire more people. I've been getting my prescriptions here for 10 years and this is ridiculous. FIX THE PROBLEM. I should never have to wait this long to get someone to answer the phone. Not only that but they don't refill my prescription on time and it's vital for me to take it every single day. This pharmacy is absolutely TERRIBLE. If i could leave negative stars I would. I have had countless issues with them (wrong dosage of medication, extremely long wait times, inaccessible via phone calls, etc). Tonight was the last straw. Due to an infection, my doctor prescribed a medication for me at 5pm to be taken at night. I just went to pick it up (10pm) because I wanted to go when less busy (due to Covid). The main reason I stay with this CVS is because it is a 24hr pharmacy. They inform me that my medication is on "back order" and is unavailable. I never received notice of this. They called an old phone number of mine, though I know they have my current phone number because I also receive calls and texts to my cell. Now, all other nearby locations are closed, and I will have to wait until "late afternoon" for my medication prescribed, again, due to an INFECTION. This is DANGEROUS and very POOR customer service. What happens when my infection worsens due to lack of treatment? Furious is an understatement. I will be changing my prescriptions as well as my entire families to the nearby Walgreens first thing in the morning. Maybe they'll have my medication in stock, as any normal pharmacy would. read more

I have never been more embarrassed in my LIFE! I would have preferred to have been checked out by the cashier, without my business being put out there to everyone in line behind me. I went up to the register with Pedialyte and Immodium, and the cashier holds up the items and says, "Oh! Looks like someone is having a problem down there." ......ARE YOU SERIOUS!?
