Every month have issues ordering. Lately I had the unfortunate experience with JASMINE. Spoke to her on the 13th to order my meds. She said she will call and set up delivery and it was that simple. The reason it was easy is because NOTHING WAS DONE BY JASMINE. Called today, they saw that I talked to her on Friday. Waste of time having to call and get incompetent people, the callback to complain and almost beg for my medication to be sent. With all the bad reviews you would think they woukd try to change. I received incorrect directions on a prescription from the Mt. Prospect. pharmacy. It was written both on the paperwork on the bag and on the box itself.When I called to let them know about this extremely unsafe error, I was treated very rudely by the pharmacist. PLEASE CONFIRM DIRECTIONS WITH YOUR DOCTOR OR GOOGLE before taking medications. If this was a drug for a heart patient or baby, this could have been a deadly mistake! This is not the first complaint regarding this Pharmacy. I have already let CVS Customer Service know. read more

I placed an online refill for a prescription. It was delivered to the wrong address. A mistake was made. That is not the issue. When I called to rectify the issue the 3 different people I talked to acted like I was bothering them and they did not seem to feel motivated to help me. The lack of customer service is continuing to become more and more prevalent. I can take my business somewhere else. read more

Horrible service. You walk into this pharmacy and it is like walking into a 3rd world country. We were trying to get a prescription filled from pharmacies around us after my wife had surgery. Finally this pharmacy had the medication that we needed. I got to the pharmacy only to be told "our system is down - we can't sell it to you." There was not so much as a sorry and pharmacy staff wouldn't even walk to the counter or make eye contact - one just kept typing away and the other just continued to sort. At least man up and come to the counter to talk to someone rather than hide in the back like a scared child. I didn't want to come here because of previous experiences but they are the only ones that had the medication that we needed. It's amazing what the last three years has done - we have turned into a 3rd world country with all kinds of "supply chain" problems. Pharmacy Complaint: I spoke to the Pharmacist this evening (female with accent) and she was BEYOND rude and unprofessional. It was regarding one medication that my Primary M.D. granted I recieve 1 day earlier due to taking a vacation for a few days. The Pharmacist insisted she "spoke to my Primary Doctor, and it was denied." I then called my doctor's office for clarification, and this was not true nor did CVS speak directly to my M.D. regarding the situation. Customer Service STUNK! It amazes me how these type of professional people talk to you like garbage. I will NOT be returning! read more

Staff is friendly and helpful including pharmacy. Past few times i went, as they are in the neighborhood, sale prices arent posted on many items, recently i had to borrow the only sales paper behind the counter trying to find sale items. Unfortunately this is very time consuming and some items out of stock. The store is clean, employees helpful, but maybe they need more help? read more

WORST PHARMACY EVER!! If I could give them -100 stars, I would! The staff is extremely rude, and the pharmacists are even worse! They constantly give customers problems. All the pharmacists are on a power trip because they were too stupid to go to medical school so they settled for a degree where they only have to count pills. They screw with peoples lives and HEALTH! My insurance only covers prescriptions filled at CVS, but I'm ready to pay for all my medications out-of-pocket just so I won't need to deal with this pharmacy anymore. Last month, they refused to fill one of my prescriptions that I needed and was COMPLETELY out of and told me my doctor needed to call them and approve them to fill my prescription. When my doctor called the pharmacist, he had to argue with the pharmacist for 15 mins and she still refused to fill it! He had to write me another prescription, that I took to Walgreens and paid out of pocket, for a few days supply to get me by until they would agree to fill it. Now, a month later, he sent in the prescription to be filled again because I'm out, and the pharmacist said because of the 3-day supply that was filled OVER A MONTH AGO at Walgreens, they again are refusing to fill my prescription, even tho it has been 30 days since I picked it up from them last time and I'M ONLY PRESCRIBED A 30-DAY SUPPLY! They again said my doctor needed to call them and approve the refill, which he did AGAIN, but they still refused to fill it because they didn't feel like my doctor gave them a valid enough reason. Avoid the extra stress and headache and get your prescriptions filled elsewhere! ANYWHERE ELSE IS BETTER THAN THIS CVS read more

Worst photo department. Specifically called a day before to inquire about infant passport photo. Was given the info to arrive any time and it should be no problem. Came in with the baby next morning only to be turned around by the staff member, because, apparently, they don't do infant photos... Misinformation that cost me to miss hours at work. read more

RE: Pharmacist My husband has a new prescription card with CVS. My daughter needed medication and brought the script to Walgreens by accident, I called up the nearest CVS and told them my predicament. The girl on the phone said it would take about an hour. I called at 6:42 pm Tuesday night May 19th. When I went to the Pharmacy It wasn't ready. The girl asked me if I had just recently called and I had said yes just to give her an answer because I needed the medication for my kid. She also explained to me that the man that calls for the transfers was very busy. I have to admit, he was on the phone but there were no other customers beside myself. I told her that I had to wait for it and needed it tonight. The male pharmacist started to give attitude behind the counter so I pulled out my cell phone and stated the time I called and it was now 7:48 pm which is an hour in which the girl on the phone said to come in. NOW the male is more flustered. He leans over whispering to his coworker then he says to the girl (like I couldn't hear him), "ask her for her prescription card and I bet she doesn't have it." Well to his dismay I DID HAVE IT. Also when I called and gave them my daughters name, date of birth and address. They already had it on file so what was that all about. Then he asked me if I would like to pick it up tomorrow. WTF why would I be there if I wanted it tomorrow? I will be writing to corporate about the rude behavior and unprofessional responses from the pharmacist. Whatever happened to customer service? I'm a paying customer and I wish I could pay someone else. I know a lot of people don't like Walgreens but I have never had this kind of disrespect. read more

CVS in Mt. Prospect has good, helpful, Pharmacists and techs. The biggest problem they have is they really make customers wait quite a while. There is often a long, slow moving line. Rarely are there two cashiers working at once in the pharmacy. Often, there is one customer who is elderly or does not speak English well so it really slows things down. Also, calls are rolling in by phone and cars are pulling up to the drive thru. Cars just pulling up are given priority over customers standing in line for 20 plus minutes. Currently waiting 50 minutes for a prescription they said would be ready in 15. read more

The pharmacy is very well run at this location. It's definitely busy at times, but the staff is so patient and kind. Every staff member that I have dealt with has been very pleasant. A few times I've seen customers just yell and berate the staff over something they can't control, which is ridiculous. As a nurse, I know how that feels. But, every time, the staff is very calm, tries to explain, and never seems upset. A round of applause to all! read more

Unfortunately, I go to CVS Pharmacy because my prescriptions are only covered there. I've had issues over half the times I go in to pick up medicine, whether it be that the check machines were not working or the prescription I was told was ready to pick up was actually only half filled because they were out of stock of the pills. It would have been considerate to call me and tell me only half the amount of pills were available rather than text me that it is ready to pick up and tell me the rest of the information when I physically arrive. Also, last night I waited literally 30 minutes in the drive through to pick up my prescription. I was lucky two cars in front of me got fed up and drove off. I didn't get out and walk into the store because I had terrible back pain.....not that going inside would have been any better! read more

The pharmacy is super busy--of course; haven't been to a pharmacy that isn't!--but the pharmacists and pharm techs are all great. Yes, you have to wait sometimes; but they are prompt, polite and very helpful. Service has always been excellent. Their drive-up window service is very prompt also. read more
