CVS in Mundelein is no good. The place is old and run-down, and the staff can be unfriendly and unhelpful. But the worst part is their incompetence. They gave me the wrong prescription for my son. Luckily, it was the same medication and dosage, but we didn't realize it until he had already taken a pill. I don't understand how they could make such a mistake when they verified his name and birthday. My question is where is the quality control? This is extremely dangerous. read more

I had this cvs for my needs...my prescription, 2 different needles and syringes......I have had the same problem with these people for 6 months.....when I explain to them that my pick up isn't the way that I need it.....they act like they are doing me a favor.....I AM PAYING FOR THIS SERVICE!!!!!!! God forbid you have to scroll down to see the full R/X. And I am not some Karen that has nothing better to do! I am a 46 year old male that works construction!!! But my money can go somewhere else. I definitely do not need an attitude and eye rolls! After I do the automated service to make sure my R/X is ready. Definitely not needed and the carpeting at this cvs smells like urine. Lackluster service at pharmacy. Dropped off an Rx and technician said (with an attitude) it'd be over two hours before it'd be ready. Other clients she told 20 minutes. I wouldn't go back to this store. read more

Absolutely awful experience time and time again. Will be switching to Walgreens! My doctor called in an urgent prescription at 1 pm, my husband went over to pick it up 2 hrs later only to be told that they don't have it in stock and will get a week later. They offered to transfer it to another cvs pharmacy that has it in stock and we agreed. It is 7 pm now, the phones are down at the other pharmacy that is 30 min drive from us. My husband went there, and he is told he needs to wait 30 min for it to get fulfilled! Just awful!!! Cvs, you need to do better!!! read more

Stopped at CVS to pick up one prescription I had ordered. The clerk had two other refill prescriptions, which I had not requested, ready for me to pick up. I refused them. I don't understand why they are filling refills I haven't requested snd don't need. Think of the extra work for the employees who then have to dispose of or return the medicine to grid stock. I will be changing my RX coverage for 2023 so I no longer need to go there. read more

I went into this CVS to purchase some makeup with some of my friends, but this lady came up to us and kicked us out because we weren't buying anything even though we were just browsing. horrible experience lady was also nicer to white guest, but when we entered she stared to follow us. Staff treats you like you are illiterate if you question anything regarding the extra buck savings. I was treated so inappropriately at the store. The manager Debbie continuously kept saying "she doesn't know anything," to her coworker. Very unprofessional and very discriminatory behavior.
