The facility has gotten rather gross and run down. Two of the pumps no longer run without constantly stopping and clicking off every 30 seconds. The car wash is an absolute waste. You can get a wash that is way more effective for a third of the cost. Today there was diesel fuel all over the ground and pump without any effort for it to be cleaned up. When I went inside to ask for assistance the significantly unhelpful cashier let me know that the pumps have been working fine and just 20 minutes ago the person used it without any issue so it must be what I am doing there. After being unable to fill my gas tank at the pump that continually stopped, I tried to go to another pump. After all, I was trying to fill up the tank, so I wouldn't have to stop and purchase gas two more times this week. The cashier never approved the purchase at the next pump that I tried. Disgusting grounds - dirty and unclean - rude and dismissive staff. This makes me sad because the owner used to take a great deal of pride in his store and shop. The service up until this year had been pleasant and worth the price.

Out of frustration of this happening multiple times, I contacted the business asking what will be done to make up for monthly memberships if the closures are consistent, and received no response. Other interactions in the past, when I had to change levels of membership, I would contact them multiple times with no response. Eventually I had to make a demand for a call back in my voicemail and finally I got a refund (and not a call back). The communication with the business operations is horrible. They largely ignore your requests for refunds and additional information and shutter their entrance way too frequently during their posted operating hours. I cannot describe how much time I've wasted driving out of my way to get my car washed and having it be closed. Today is a great example, there was actually a car being put into the wash, and the entrance was blocked. During open hours. I am posting this to save others from expecting the bare minimum from this car wash, but also in hopes it'll reach management and they will actually, candidly, get their shit together. Because this is a great location and it's easy to get in and out.

The owner and all of the staff left. The atmosphere of this place is cold and unfriendly. The couple of washes I had since the management change were terrible. Dust and streaks left over, the back window was not even touched. Somehow they washed the whole outside but the window was nasty and dirty. One time they "forgot" to put my weather techs back in the back row of my car. I realized they were missing when I went to put groceries in the back seat after I had left. I immediately called and they said "they forgot". I've never before thought of checking to make sure my weather techs were put back but now I always do. (Could've been a total accident but the whole thing just felt off). I stopped coming here but occasionally will drive by just to see if maybe they've improved. It's very much hit and miss here. The past few times I've tried to come in, they're closed. The hours posted on the website say they're open but they're not. I've tried calling, no one ever answers the call. Today was the final straw. I arrived at 2:05pm just to see the closed sign on their door. My mom has come here on a random weekday, same thing. Don't waste your time coming here. You most likely won't even be able to get in. Don't bother calling, they won't answer either!

However since I had a ceramic coat applied on my car, today I went with the basic wash and the under carriage wash (which in my opinion does clean the build up in the Illinois road conditions) Alright back to the point, I came to detail my car by hand, touch up with my own premium products and to only find MORE scratches on my paint. I wouldn't recommend this place and I won't be coming back due to the scratches I now have on my car.. I'm sure it's due to the brushes and the amount of dirty cars that come in. I'm not sure how often then change or clean their bristles on these automatic washes but I surely saw at least 10% new scratches on my car.. its a bummer but however I did ceramic sealed my paint again. Long run I don't recommend this place unless they do something about their brushes. I'm going to hand wash my car or take my car to a professional detailer which is fine. To repaint panels or the car wil cost more than a "convenience wash"

I came in and saw the "free vacuums" and wanted to quickly vacuum out my car before getting gas. I actually had zero intention of getting a car wash but after pulling up and spending about 20-30 min detailing my car with all the extras (all purpose cleaner and towels, scent, air gun, glass cleaner) and a vacuum that was the strongest suction I have ever seen, I felt guilty just using the freebies and decided to get a wash. Car wash is affordable and they have a monthly plan that also allows you to get your to 30 cents off / gallon of gas. The $10 monthly car wash pays for itself in gas if you fill up weekly. On top of all that, the car wash attendant came out when he saw me pull my mats out and offered to wash them for me unprompted. He even gave me a free towel. On top of that there is a very clean Dunkin inside the gas station and a "taco pros" that far exceeded my expectations for a gas station taco spot. Needless to say, I would drive the 15 min from my house weekly to stop here. Overall great experience.

For the most part, it provides everything you need to keep your car clean inside and out. Unfortunately, my experience went downhill. The license plate reader failed on nearly every visit, causing repeated delays at the entrance. A helpful employee once provided me with a windshield sticker to fix the issue, but I explained I don't put stickers on my windshield for safety and aesthetic reasons. That understanding allowed me to keep coming back and even recommend the business to others. The problem began when a newer employee saw me use the sticker, printed and kept my receipt, and gave me the impression I was being checked up on as if I had done something wrong. When I asked why, I was told in so many words that my setup wasn't acceptable and that they would "verify" things. Instead of resolving my concern, it escalated into an uncomfortable argument. Calling to speak with a supervisor didn't help either. I was connected with another employee who, when asked if they were actually the supervisor, replied with "more or less." Overall, what had been a business I promoted and enjoyed has turned into one I can no longer recommend. Miscommunication, unprofessional handling, and the lack of respect for loyal customers overshadow the positives.
