Was on hold for 3 hours before anyone can reach me. Nobody answered the phone with a name. I asked for employee ID number and one of the workers in the pharmacy refused to give it to me. The pharmacy is unprofessional. They need the employees to answer the phone at a timely manners and politely!! Also notice a few times walking in nobody has a badge on. Wish there was a 0 star choice. I went to drop off a medication for my mom and was asked if I wanted to wait so I can pick up the medication in 30 min. I wanted to give them more time and said I will pick it up in an hour. I came back in 1.5 hour to pick up and was told they want be ready for another hour! No 'I am sorry' or 'let us get to it now'. What I was told is, 'we are busy' and it is not an emergency. Horrific service. I understand the work is stressful and the pharmaceutics are busy but that is no excuse to treat the customer without respect and be dismissive. How do they know it is not emergency. Maybe not a medical but a situational one? I am truly applauded by people who work at this pharmacy. read more

I used to be a loyal CVS customer for over 25 years. There's been a steady decline in their customer service at the pharmacy. It hasn't been just my experience rather several customers I spoke to while waiting in line for our medicines have all said the same thing. The pharmacy is understaffed, most of the techs are rude and seemingly don't care. Over the years there has been one Pharmacist who went out of her way to help, but she the exception, not the rule. I tell friends and family of my experiences at CVS and I'm not surprised how many share the same problems. They just don't care about me or you or retaining any sort of dignity and ethical behavior. I have little good to say about this location. As to what I have to say that is negative? Well, disengaged pharmacy personnel, a completely impenetrable system of deciding whether you can get your prescription filled, and contempt for customers that oozes from every employee. My wife is on a constellation of meds(cancer survivor, pre-hypertensive, etc. The Doc will call in several scrips on the same day, they refuse to fill all of them, necessitating a return, and from that time forward, the scrips will be unavailable on the same days, necessitating multiple trips. Not to mention text messages announcing your prescription is ready, and when you go to pick it up, you find it is sitting on a shelf at an entirely different CVS(this happened today). If our insurance didnt require us to use them, we would go anywhere else. read more

I was pleasantly shocked to see no lines, and only a handful of people at the pharmacy when I went to fill a scrip today. I waited behind 1 person to hand in my scrip, only for the pharmacist to help someone else before me who wasn't even in line. Rude! When he asked when I wanted to pick my scrip up I told him ASAP, which I knew was at least 30 minutes since he rudely told the person originally in front of me "Well, there's only 3 of us here." Never did the pharmacist call out names for the people waiting. If it wasn't for someone who asked if their order was ready, I'd still be there. I have come to this pharmacy at all different times, and on different days. I have tried going into the store and using the drive through. Every single time it's been a long, long, long wait while those behind the counter meander about. It doesn't matter that the location of this store is convenient, future trips to the pharmacy will be taken elsewhere. read more

This CVS is moments from my house which is great. It is 24 hours which is perfect for having an infant or when the wife was pregnant. The Pharmacy is also 24 hours so you can get your prescriptions anytime. The store is clean and the staff are helpful. I've always gotten what I need. read more

This place is inconsistent, disorganized and unreliable when it comes to filling my monthly prescriptions. I've had to go to other pharmacies these last 2 months for my medications because they don't keep my medication in stock or restock it. I've been getting my prescription every month (with extreme difficulty to attain from them) and now they aren't restocking it (incompetent). I'd rather wait in line for an hour at Walgreens and get my medications every month than deal with CVS anymore and their inability and irresponsibility to fill my prescriptions. read more

This could be the worst CVS in the state of Connecticut I find myself at it only because it is so close to home but I have decided to just spend the extra five minute drive to go to Walgreens. I have prescription medication that needs to be filled monthly and cannot have missed doses. Multiple times I have gone there they have processed my prescription and then told me it is not available and won't be for a few days. They are unwilling to call other local CVS pharmacies to find out if it's available which makes me have to call my doctor and fill out another prescription in order to get my medication on time. I feel they service at this CVS branch is very poor and service is very slow. Also there is a young man who is a pharmacist who does not know how to deal with people especially the disabled with physical disabilities SUFFERING in SEVERE CRONIC PAIN, Sr.Citizens, deaf/hearing impaired, people with mental/emotional disabilities/challenges and persons with TBIs. If I could give this a minus rating I would. That's how bad this CVS brach is. He not only got me extremely upset on one occasion he also got my emotional support dog very upset not just on one occasion but 2 occasions. I asked him repeatedly to stop harassing me what he was doing to me what my issues where and he still persisted and what makes matters even worse he lied and refused to give me my medication. He and I both knew he was wrong but he refused to look at the facts and do the right thing. The young man is very sick what he did to me not once but twice forcing me to switch branches. It really was a god send for me this other branch is much better. I'm glad I made the move. Also on top of everything he called the police on me for swinging my cane at him. If I really wanted to hit him I could've made I should've to knock some sence in his head. Before someone else goes through the anguish and embarrassment I went through and the confusion, anger, being so upset especially around the holidays, having to go to all my Drs and change all my Medications and weeks of therapy, he has no idea what his mouth, actions and lieing did to me for weeks and weeks. Hopefully someone from upper Management and someone from the State Licensing Department will read this and take this young man out of harm's way before he creates a huge legal problem. Yes, it's 24 hours. Yes, there's a drive thru. However, everything else is almost laughable. The store itself is great-- clean, well-stocked, and very friendly employees. Short lines. That all changes when dealing with the pharmacy. I've been using this pharmacy for 2 years now-- for the sole reason that it's very close to my house. Prescriptions are never filled when promised. I generally get notified about 2 hours after the requested time (and I make sure to give at least a 6 hour notice when I call them in.) The drive thru is almost comically slow. Expect at minimum a 10 minute wait before you get to the window regardless of how many cars in line. I've waited 25 minutes before. Going inside is worse. Extremely crowded, long waits, very disorganized, employees calling out what seem to be personal details... It's not good news. Pros: 24 hours, drive thru option Cons: Ridiculous waits, prescriptions never filled when promised, indiscreet staff (If you don't want "for the birth control?" announced loud enough for the whole waiting area to hear, AVOID.) read more

I hate this location. Their new curbside pick-up is a JOKE! My order is supposed to be ready within an hour and guess what? Two days later it still wasn't ready for pick-up so I just ended up canceling it and going elsewhere. I've placed 3 orders now and have had to cancel them all. While this is convenient being 24 hours, it takes hours to fill a prescription recently. If your dr calls in your prescription, expect at least 2 hours before it's filled. Doesn't matter what day or time it's called inn they are always behind. read more

If I was able to give 0 stars I would... I was forced to transfer all my scripts to CVS starting the new year due to insurance policy changes and I've had the worst experience thus far. Every single time I try to get my scripts filled or refilled, there seems to be an issue. I've spoken to multiple techs on numerous occasions about the SAME 4 scripts, now April, and STILL a big ordeal. Either I hear "your scripts aren't here" or "we don't have that script".... I'm honestly confused... how is it, the same 4 meds I've taken for years just disappear. My Providers remain the same and I'm up to date with my follow ups and each time I confirm this POS pharmacy I've been forced to use. To top it off, I've had them fax my providers on numerous occasions and STILL an issue. My providers all claim this pharmacy has not reached out. The techs are incompetent, can't hear, or are incapable of fulfilling their only duty. The Pharmacist... MOST unprofessional, argumentative, dismissive healthcare provider I've EVER come across. As a RN, I'm deeply disappointed these are the people the public have to deal with. Such a disgrace!!! read more

Not sure if they don't have enough employees or they're not where they're supposed to be? It shouldn't take 25 min to purchase a birthday card.
