It is a convenance store. The sandwiches are great, so will start with my order today, the soprano. I can only speak to the classic "wich" or grinder or as we call them in Boston a sub. Italian meats on a great roll with the works, including hot and sweat peppers. Get it hot. This meat laden sub is superb, as good as a place in Hyde park section of Boston (the epicenter of sub sandwiches). Yes I went there. For seven bucks you get the sub, fries and a coke. Fries are great, not the truffle laced at fancy places, but damn good. Win win win. Now for the folks who will look at this place in their mini van and say "drive on honey, kids lock the doors, and roll up the windows", well I have been here several times, and can attest to the folks working there, polite and just darn nice. Patrons have been super nice (I go in a suit with tie). Yea Looks rough on the inside, and worse on the outside but man the food is awesome. I know this might be a little weird writing a review on a convenience store, but oh well. I go to…read morethis 7-Eleven (or as I like to call it, 7E. Formerly a Shell Gas Station) every morning on my way to work. I grab a red bull and 2 bananas. Sadly, I go there so often everyone knows me but they make an effort to ask me how my day is. One young guy always notices my hair styles or the color scrubs I'm wearing. Nice guy! My favorite there, though, is Pam. She works late night shifts and sadly I only see her if I'm coming home from the bar and ran out of cigs. I barely remember most of our conversations but she's always full of life, always funny, and pretty professional. It's definitely ghetto, though. A lot of people sitting outside the store asking for change or buying booze at 8 a.m. Oh well, to each his own. For as long as I live here, this 7E will always have my business.
