CVS has a new answering service for the pharmacy which requires you to verify client info in order to get to an actual pharmacist. Not that one should object to verification but it's the lack of information provided by the pre recorded message on how birthdate is to be entered "two digit month/day/year is year two digits or four. I just wasted minutes trying to guess how CVS wants the credentials entered. CVS is not my go to and this is another reason why, not customer focused more about their bottom line. Ennis and Ayruda in the pharmacy are excellent. We are from out of town and having a medication crisis and they were very helpful. They both went above and beyond to make sure we got our medication and when our own insurance failed us, they came thru with an in house solution. This CVS Pharmacy is the absolute worst pharmacy, with the most non-caring, arrogant staff of any CVS. Sick people need to be able to interact with and consult with kind medical and retail personnel, not indifferent beasts. I spoke with a store manager on 2 separate occasions, but, to no avail and, in fact, only worsening of aggressive, pompous attitudes of the female pharmacist and staff. If you have other pharmacy options, please consider Publix Pharmacies or a private, independent pharmacy or even a Walgreens. read more

This place makes the DMV seem efficient. Has got to be the worst CVS in the country. Unbelievably inept at their sole job of providing prescriptions when they are called in. "The doctor just called it in. Gimme 20 minutes." I watched the doctor call it in half an hour previously but I'll give them a break. I came back an hour later and I got the same exact answer. Used to go to the Publix pharmacy across the street. I got new insurance and was informed I could only go to CVS. So far, terrible experience at this location. The pharmacy workers seem extremely over worked and it reflects the job they are doing and the quality of the phone calls I've had with them, as well as the in person visits. While I was there they even paged for help to the front, nobody came to help. That's unacceptable, I don't recommend this specific CVS, the associates have enough work on their hands. Seems like it would help them out a lot if they had another new associate to assist. Their counter looks to be flooding full of un-picked up prescriptions. Go to a different less busy CVS if you can! read more

When you only have one job and you do it poorly. This is an overdue review but at the beginning of the year, we thought I had COVID 19 so went to convention center and they administered both the quick and the longer Covid test. The quick came back negatives so I made an appointment at CVS to get the flu test. If you have the flu, meds have to be administered within 48 Hours. So the next morning, I get a call from them asking if I had had a Covid test to which I replied yes So they asked for my results - negative on the quick. Their reply well that's not accurate - you have to wait until the other test comes back - we are cancelling your appt! Ok so now I won't be within the 48 hours! To add fuel to the fire they kept texting me at my original appt time letting me know, that they were ready for me! Who are these people? - DONT GO THEIR EVER! read more

I sat for a minute clinic appointment at 10:25 shortly after checking into the kiosk. My appointment was at 10:40. My name was appearing on the waiting list screen and suddenly disappeared. It is now 12:12pm and just now leaving after the doctor told me I had to reschedule because I missed my appointment and she was adamant that she had called me. My daughter was with me as well and the doctor NEVER called my name. She changed her story when she said that she would never check her patient off if I had been there although she had previously stated she had called my name. She told me I had to come back tomorrow because they didn't have any appointments available today. I live 40 minutes away and missed work because I'm sick. I've been using an emergency inhaler since I was four years old. So 25 years. As an adult, I've never had an issue changing out the brand name for generic. Until today. My new doctor sent in a prescription for a specific brand name inhaler, which does not work well for me (the firing mechanism breaks a lot), and is not covered by my insurance. The doctor did not check the "do not substitute" box nor did they write anything of the sort on the prescription, yet the pharmacist would NOT sub out the generic inhaler! I was literally denied medication I require to breathe because the pharmacist decided to be a jerk and not sub out the generic that I've been using my entire life, which I have never had a problem subbing before with any other pharmacist! He was extremely rude about it, too. I would have understood if this were a controlled substance, but it's an albuterol inhaler. It's not an opioid or a narcotic. He should have been able to easily substitute. As, again, I have been able to in the past. Luckily the Walgreens across the street sorted me out, so I get to use my lungs as usual again. Basically, don't go here. I was talked to like I was a simple child who didn't understand the medication I've been taking for, again, 25 years. And I could have been in real trouble if Walgreens hadn't saved the day. read more

I called at 7:10pm to have an Rx transferred from Walgreens to this CVS. Came to the Pharmacy at 10:10 pm to check in my Rx and 3 hours later they still haven't being able to communicate with Walgreens. I called Walgreens and within 5 min Ryan from Walgreens was talking to the CVS Pharmacist. At 10:46pm I am still waiting for my Rx. At 10:55pm they tell me they do not have the Rx in stock. I give them 1 Star for bathroom cleanliness as well. I would've expect a much cleaner pharmacy. After all, it's a pharmacy. read more

Which I left with none, because the pharmacist said I have have to show proof of taking insulin through my prescriptions history.... which I have never had filled at CVS because the suck the big one. Staff is helpful and it's a clean store. Surprised to see the amount of black hair care products here, but hey, that's a plus! I love the hand sanitizers and lotions that smell like beauty store brands like Bath and Body Works for example. That's one reason I love CVS. I work in a pharmacy, but unfortunately the chaim had no close by 24 hour locations when my daughter got sick on vacation - therefore we wound up at this CVS. I was greatful that the pharmacy was 24 hours, but when we pulled up to gwt her rx the pharmacist told us there was nothing there. We told him the doctor sent it over and then he said he just got it. He then, rushing, said it would be at least 40 min. Im okay with the wait time, but i feel like considering we had a sick 3 year old from out of town, perhaps he could have at least been nicer about the fact that it was going to take long and we had to wait with a sick child at 11 at night. read more

The only CVS I know that has a 24 hour store and 24 hour pharmacy. Plentiful parking but a bit of a challenge to get into during rush hour on Sand Lake Rd. Note: there are plenty of instances where they do not handle customer rushes well. I have waited several times where the wait time was in excess of 10 minutes. read more

Pharmacy team gets the job done with the professionalism I expect and the front counter is quick at pulling staff to the front when the line gets long. Came here late after needing a last-minute prescription and seeing that this was the closest 24-hour CVS to my hotel. I had a bit of trouble finding it (I think the Google Maps address marker was off due to the long parking lot), but once I made it there found it easy to park. The pharmacy was surprisingly well-staffed for being past 8pm on a weeknight, with four people working. The technician who helped me was exceptionally friendly and let me know that it would just be a few minutes until my Rx was ready - I always appreciate it when they have already started working on it after the doctor sends it over. I can't really speak for the pharmacy part of the store, since our insurance company does not work with them anymore, but the customer service of the cashiers is extremely lacking. Once again, there were issues with THEIR coupon that THEIR website provides and clearly gives a print option (in addition to the "send to card" option). The cashier last night tried to scan the code, tried putting in the numbers, and said it wouldn't work. That was that, no apologies, no "would you like to see the manager". . . Just something like "you can't stand there and argue with me" (I forget his exact words but they were similar). The manager was at the register next to him, and somehow managed to scan my coupon that the other guy was unable to do. Could've been a mechanical issue, but the attitude was clearly uncalled for and the lack of desire to help (he could have just asked the manager who was standing right next to him for help) shows complete indifference and poor work ethic. In my opinion, CVS needs to step up their employee training and devote a large amount of time to customer service. If it wasn't for some of the sales (and coupons, ahem) and the fact that I can walk there from my house, I'd never step foot in there again. I can walk to Walgreens from my house too. Thank you thank you thank you to the pharmacist at this store who helped my daughter. We were coming on vacation and while still at home she went to refill her daughter's epi pen. The prescription at home had become outdated so the doctor called the rx into the cvs near our hotel. NBD or so we thought. Went to pick it up and the CVS next to Sea World gave her all the reasons why she could not have generic and that it would be $600. I think the bothersome thing was that the pharmacist did not care. My daughter had to regroup, call her husband to figure out finances. Went to THIS CVS to go ahead and get the pen. Without even asking or anything the pharmacist refilled with generic, applied a coupon and charged her $9.99!!!!!!! So awesome! read more

As the staff is friendly for the most part.. They have been my pharmacy for years but recently the pharmacy staff have all been new and since then everything seems to be disorganized. Went in to pick up two prescriptions one was mine the other for my nephew. Gave my nephews information first last name and bday, asked ten times what his name and birthday was. She finally found it in the system, she gets the prescription and it was the wring person! First mess up, gave my name and birthday took her roughly around 5 min to type it in the system as she kept asking me my information over and over again. Finally found it in the system however couldn't find it in the bin. Last name starts with mn it was no where near where it was suppose to be. Going to look for a new pharmacy as this is not the first time for the mix up long wait rude staff or not having your prescription at all! Quality of staff went down big time read more

Sat on hold for 40 minutes until I was cut off. Now can't get through to anyone at the store--phone just rings through and no one/nothing answers, not even generic CVS store greeting. To start, he snatched the prescription out of my friend's hand. Only one person waiting and he said the computers were down (12:15am) so that she would have to wait 2 hours.
