I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received regarding my order and the way this situation has been handled. I am a paying BJ's member and pay for my membership every year with the expectation of receiving reliable service and customer support. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been the exact opposite. My package was supposed to be delivered, but the first delivery attempt failed. UPS claimed that my apartment number was missing from the address. However, my apartment number has always been correctly listed in my BJ's account and on the order information. UPS blamed BJ's, and when I contacted BJ's, they blamed UPS. As a customer, I should not be caught in the middle while two companies pass responsibility back and forth. In an effort to resolve the issue, I personally contacted UPS and confirmed my complete address, including my apartment number. I also contacted BJ's and confirmed the exact same information again last Friday. I was assured that the issue had been fixed and that my package would be delivered on Monday or Tuesday. Today, I learned that the delivery failed yet again for the same alleged address issue. This is completely unacceptable. My address was correct from the very beginning. There is no excuse for repeated delivery failures after the address was verified multiple times with both companies. What is even more frustrating is that nobody is offering a real solution. I continue to receive apologies, but apologies do not solve the problem. Instead of immediately reshipping the item I already paid for, I am being told to place a new order and wait for a refund. Expecting customers to spend additional money while waiting for a refund is unreasonable and unfair. I have also received conflicting information regarding the refund timeline. Customer service representatives told me the refund would take 3 to 5 business days, while the BJ's website states that refunds can take up to 10 business days. The lack of consistency and transparency only adds to my frustration. Most importantly, I was previously assured that the problem had been resolved and that the package would definitely be delivered. That assurance proved to be false. The package was still not delivered, and I am left without my order despite doing everything I was asked to do. As a loyal paying member, I expect far better service, accountability, and customer care from BJ's. This experience has wasted my time, caused unnecessary frustration, and demonstrated a serious lack of coordination between BJ's and its delivery partner. Because of the way this matter has been handled, I will be sharing my experience through public reviews and consumer complaint channels, including the Better Business Bureau and other consumer protection resources. Customers deserve honest communication, effective problem-solving, and respect for the money they spend and the memberships they pay for. I used to come to this location quite a bit many years ago when they were a fairly new store, and the only one in the area. Since then two other locations opened closer to where I lived, and the last one that opened is the one that I usually shop at now. If I am in Orlando, I do sometimes stop through this one. Quite often I am just stopping for gas, but once in a while, I go in and do some quick shopping. This location is in a very high traffic area by the Millenia Mall and depending on the time of day it can be a long drive. They have quite a large parking lot that is shared with some other businesses with plenty of handicap parking near the front. The entrance is accessible without any steps or stairs. read more

This BJ's is the worst wholesale club. All items are expired or close to expired. I almost ordered curbside pickup, and they never do a good job. Fruits are spoiled, and meat expires in 1 or 2 days. This happens year after year. Recently, I ordered one pack of mangoes for $9.99. When I picked it up at curbside, I got only one single mango. I really like the State of Florida and the fact that they allow the sale of spirits at retail stores. I hope that one day, my beloved Commonwealth of Virginia will move out of the Stone Ages and get out of the liquor business by allowing retail establishments to sell it at competitive prices. Every time I come here I always find exactly what I need and with no problems. I love all the seasonal items that they carry. First we live in Poinciana, FL. You are probably saying "why are you going to THAT location, there are a few closer, Kissimmee and the new one in Davenport. Well I will tell you, NOT impressed with either. I have liked in Union Park, so we shopped the Lake Underhill location, and STILL did until recently. We also lived in both Millenia & MetroWest, so we shopped the Millenia location. But 3 1/2 years ago we moved to Poinciana during COVID. We tried the Kissimmee location a few times, and found they catered more to people cooking frozen food (and canned), rather than those cooking from scratch. Now my MIL lives in Conway, so we decided that Saturday's would be our day to visit her (my husband's Dad passed), then go to BJ's. The Lake Underhill location worked out great, but from there to Poinciana, the traffic was bad. So we decided to try out the Millenia location, plus they have gas there! The drive home was MUCH better. So that is our new BJ's. However trying to get out of that parking lot is insane. There really should be a 2nd entrance/exit near Home Depot that takes you to Conroy (with a light). read more

Complaint On Thursday, May 28th, I went to BJs on 4697 Millenia Plaza Way in Orlando, Florida and purchased a few things. Some of these things included a Lime cake and 2 bags of oranges. I brought the cake to my friend's birthday party. When they sliced the cake, there was mold all over it. The cake was absolutely rotten, moldy, and couldn't be eaten at all. I then proceeded to open my bag of oranges and guess what? I had to throw NINE oranges away. I was obviously frustrated so I went back to BJs to try to exchange those items or maybe get a refund. When I got there, I asked for speak to the manager. One of the associates said that he was the manager. When I started to explain the whole situation, he said that he wasn't going to do anything about that and that once the customer leaves the store, they can't return anything. I then showed him the pictures that I took of the cake and the oranges, showing him that the food was absolutely moldy and that it couldn't be eaten. He then proceeded to KICK ME OUT OF THE STORE. I immediately left the store because I didn't want to cause a scene. I have NEVER felt more frustrated in my life as I did today. The way that the 'manager' talked to me and dealt with the situation was absolutely unprofessional, rude and intolerable. I have no words of the level of customer service that I received today. I have heart problems and I thought that I was going to faint due to all the stress that I went through. The store is a good place to get meats, ribs, poultry,milk and or juice etc. They have pancakes, pizza, pockets,taquitos,etc and good selection of shrimp,fish and crab legs ; fresh, affordable, available., same as for veggies....We bought a couple of mattresses and after a 2 years.,those had performed well, good price, nice quality. I believe the core business there is food. ( like Aldi ) but with name brands. The only issue there is traffic, due to the WORST design and planning of the mall, is located in the dead end street of the millenia mall,,before the home depot ;wich is at the very end of this traffic trap. read more

Bottom line: I'll keep going. This is the only warehouse type store near me. It's OK. To be honest it is 3rd on my list of the warehouse stores but like I said, it's the closest. The things I really do like about this store is that they accept manufacturers coupons AND their BJ coupons. Also, they have a deli which is awesome. They don't have the most popular brand name in cold cuts but I always get a lb. of American cheese for less than $5. That's a great deal. I also like that they have a lot of hair/skin care type products. I've heard that the #1 warehouse store is planning on building in the same area - that I think will hurt this store. After leaving another big box membership store in the same area, it was nice to walk in and it not be super crowded. It literally was like night and day. While browsing the aisles, it was so quiet and peaceful. My sister actually gifted me with this membership and although it doesn't carry the same exact products as it's competitor, it still offers a wide variety of brands at great prices. Buying in large quantities is difficult for me because I never need it all and what I liked about BJ's is that I didn't have to buy a 100 snack size guacamole (sarcasm), but I could buy items in smaller quantities, which made shopping here more easy for me. I would say BJs is my second favorite wholesale store. It is very laid out and has a lot of fresh produce and meats. The star reduction really has nothing to do with the store itself but the store's location. The whole design of the complex is excruciatingly poor. Traffic backs up because there is only one road to enter and exit for a complex which has Home Depot, BJs, Dicks, and other notable shops. It is a test of patience during weekend trips. read more

Ordered two full sheet cakes one was for a baptism and one for a surprise party.. Picked the cakes up Friday as the surprise party was that night and also the one for Saturday morning. Both of the cakes were messed up They misspelled the names on both of the cakes even though we ha written it out for them week ago.. They brought the paper out and said oh yes it is misspelled sorry.. We asked if they could fix it they said no sorry.. The baptism cake the name that was misspelled was for my late grandmothers name.. The cakes should've been free as it was their mess up and ruined the baptism as the cake was the center of the dinner.. Recently store going downhill. Items they say they stock through their app are not on shelves. When you ask they say they can't tell when it will arrive on a shipment. They've limited items so I can't find what I usually buy. One Example they only carry tampons and ultra slim pads but used to carry several sizes of pads. This is your typical warehouse store, selling everything from clothes to cucumbers. We usually run into this store when we're on this side of town and need just one or two things. Nice addition to this location is the gas station, only accessible with your membership card. It's not a huge money saver, but it's usually a few cents off of rates you'll find at local gas stations. I have been shopping at this location for years even after moving across the town to Winter Park. They have their own gas station which is a plus since gas is usually much cheaper than the stations on my side of town. I have been happy with the selection of items but I have learned that It is much busier on the weekends and therefore, sometimes items are out of stock. I usually try to do shopping during the week to avoid the crowds and when items are replenished. They also mail out valuable coupon books. I came to the Millenia location because I received a coupon for a free 3 month membership. I figured I would use my membership to get a tire replaced on my car in the location's tire center. Upon calling several times with no answer, I decided to visit in person instead. As I entered, the tire center staff member was arguing with a customer who had claimed to have an appointment. The employee didn't have an appointment for the customer and was "too busy" to deal with it. There were no cars in the bays and nobody else inside. Due to the fact that this employee actually had the audacity to claim he was too busy for a customer in front of me, I decided to leave and go to the Tires Plus on Kirkman instead. Extremely poor customer service at this location. I now understand why the Costco right next to it will have 100 cars in the lot at any given moment while this BJ's location only has a handful. read more

Have most of what we need. People are polite. They have a fresh cold cut counter to get you deli meats and cheese sliced fresh. Prices for the fresh cold cuts much reasonable than the supermarket. I love BJ's as a company, which is why I have a membership with them, but this location changes what is on their shelves way too often. Sometimes we come to do our groceries there and find wonderful products that we grow to love. As the product begins to run out we attempt to come back to the location and restock on the items we like. Several times we have come to find that these things have been removed from their shelves to be replaced by another product. The person who do the checking of receipt at the door should check everybody and not just the one she don't like. Every time we go there she never look at the other people groceries or counting them. But she always count ours.. She should do that to all the customer.. I recently upgraded my regular BJs card to the rewards one and the most lovely customer service rep in the store assisted me. Her name is Howarda and she was the most patient, helpful and efficient employee I have dealt with at this particular location. She answered all of my annoying questions and went above and beyond what I was expecting. I've always had a great experience shopping at BJs but she was definitely the cherry on top.
