We live in the nearby area so I stopped in here several times to pick up some needed items. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming when you pop in and the store is always super clean. They're in the heart of downtown Baldwin Park with plenty of parking nearby. They have all the standard things you would come to expect from this chain and the prices are super reasonable for where they are located as well as what the nearby competition has for their pricing as well. Overall: A Convenience is definitely key at this location. They're also always super clean and the staff is really friendly. 5 Stars for super friendly pharmacy staff, quick service, and ease of transferring prescriptions from another pharmacy. Alan, a pharmacy tech, helped me out the last time I went in as I was looking to fill a new prescription, update my info (that was last updated 10+ years ago), and request to get my prescriptions moved over from a competing pharmacy chain that's farther from my house. Alan got me all sorted out and it was as easy as I can imagine. He got the name and phone number of my previous pharmacy so he could call to get my prescriptions moved over, updated my contact info as well as turned on texting updates for my refills, and answered a few questions I had about a new prescription I was dropping off to get filled. Within 30 mins my prescriptions were filled and ready for pick-up. I later had a chance to speak with the pharmacist herself and she was a pleasure. I didn't feel rushed at all with my questions. I'm glad I finally went back to this pharmacy and plan to be here for a long time! read more

It is very difficult to get any information through the CVS phone system. If your question does not fall into specific categories then you get the same recordings over and over. Even after going to the store pharmacy in person and asking questions it was very frustrating. I get a refill there every month and it's the same mess every time. I will be moving my business to Publix pharmacy. They will at least answer their phones with a live person. I don't know what happened to CVS but it's not even a one star now. read more

Today I went into CVS to get some money out of the ATM and witnessed the cashier racially profiling a group of Latino teenagers. The youth (5 in total) had come into the store to buy snacks. The cashier asked them if they intended to buy anything and then asked them to leave the store. She told them she would not serve them and would call them police if they didn't leave now. The girls in the group left but the boys stayed. The boys said they would not leave until they finished buying the snacks they come there for and immediately went to self checkout instead of going to her register. read more

I've been a customer of this CVS since it's been open. Usually I don't have any problems. But two young employees seemed to think I was trying to shoplift some over-the-counter medication. Without even asking what happened I had one of them standing over my shoulder during the entire self checkout process and even went through my bag. The scanner scanned the medicine before I was able to put it in the bag yet the sales clerk did not believe me and continued to be aggressive in her actions towards me. I will be calling the store manager and I will not be going to that CVS again. Despicable that honest citizens are profiled the way they are. This CVS location is so convenient, and for that reason alone it deserves 4 stars. Located in downtown Baldwin Park on New Broad St., it could not be any more accessible for the residents of this area. Each time I pay this location a visit, the store seems well stocked and I usually always am able to leave with whatever I came into the store for. I personally love the fact that It is just about a quarter mile from Lake Baldwin, because I can stop in for a drink after a walk around the lake. I wish I could say more, but that about sums it up! Simple: 4 stars for a convenient location and friendly staff members. Great for all my shopping needs when I don't feel like driving on Colonial! (Seriously, who ever feels like doing that.) This CVS' location is so convenient because it is right in the middle of downtown Baldwin Park. I go here all the time to fill my prescriptions or to grab a quick thing or two. The store is very clean, and it's not very busy. No kids running around causing unnecessary ruckus. The staff is great. The pharmacists that work here are amazing and take the time to make sure you understand the medication. read more

I have lived above this store for 2yrs. OCPS required us also to use them for prescriptions. The cashier and manager know me well. But continue everytime to follow the little old black lady(me). today was too much I'm very sick and just wanted a drink , Kleenex and prescription and was still watched until I completely checked out at pharmacy. My Daughter took a covid 19 test at the 13000 Tanja King Blvd, Orlando,FL 32828.Test was completed on November the 3rd Today is the November the 14th no results. I called for an update was told the test was never completed! However my insurance was billed on the 11/5/2020 The customer service reps are rude and they never ever helps with answering questions. They hang up or cut me off while raising the tone of their voice . I will never ever go back to CVS. MY BIGGEST CONCERN THOUGH IS THAT MAYBE JUST MAYBE MY DAUGHTERS RESULTS WAS GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE. For a non-24-hour CVS, this one is pretty good. The pharmacists are so excellent, accurate, friendly, and helpful, I must give it 4-Stars despite its disadvantages which include: - Hard to find parking because residents take it all (and I'm a resident so I'm allowed to whine). - Not open 24 hours, and relatively short pharmacy hours especially on weekends - Small store has a small selection and is frequently out of products. Sale products disappear in minutes. But the pharmacists here know you, and that's great. They're accurate and never short on counts. They're funny and enjoy a chat. It's a good team. If you're a resident, it's wonderful because you can walk here from almost anywhere in Baldwin Park,or in my case, take a Segway and ride it right inside the place. The short hours, especially on weekends, drive me up a tree after living so close to a 24-hour CVS in Winter Springs for so many years. aaaaagggggghhhh. If the pharmacists weren't so darn good, this place would be 2-Stars. But the reason to go to a pharmacy should be for getting your prescriptions, and you need knowledgeable pharmacists who can help you. Here, they will solve any issue, and walk you right to the over-the-counter remedy if that's what you need. They will help you understand anything you ask about. Really brilliant folks, at least about their jobs. :-) And as for the sundries problem, hmmmm, well, there's a Publix just a two-minute walk away... :-) This is a really good pharmacy, especially if you live nearby. I love needing to stop in for something because it is always very organized and the employees are by far the friendliest in any drug store I've ever visited. This is my neighborhood CVS in Baldwin Park. Everyone here is very nice, from the cashier, to the people working the floor, to the pharmacists. I usually come here a couple times a month and I wish I had more opportunities to come more. Last time I came to get a passport photo. While I was fiddling with their photo computer, an employee, who I think was a managerial type, came running up out of nowhere to greet me and ask if I needed help. He seemed genuinely excited to see me there. He quickly got me setup for my picture and within a few minutes I had 2 passport photos! For a CVS, this is one of the best! read more

It's a little odd to do a review of a big chain pharmacy but I will try. :-) This one gets high marks because it's always clean and organized and I love that I can ride my bike here and they have a bike rack to lock it up. Everyone who works here is nice and the Pharmacy folks are great. I never have my CVS card and they let me give them my phone number to look it up so I can score great coupons. Complete and utter incompetence of the pharmacist and staff. An RX was called in at 11:15am, all components of RX were confirmed to be there on site in pharmacy and ready to mix. Told however, that the RX would not be ready for 3 hours. Came back 3 hours later and they said, not ready, come back in 1 hour. Came back 1.5 hours later and was told RX was STILL not ready and they did not have ingredients to mix RX. Said they called and left a message but they did not. NO message and NO history of missed call. Told them to transfer RX to another CVS store in the neighborhood, to which they replied, they didn't know that stores phone number or how to find it. UNBELIEVEABLE! Will not ever use this CVS store or pharmacy again. Poor service, rude staff and lack of customer care. read more

It is with great sadness that I offer this review. I became extremely ill Monday and my family doctor was kind enough to call in a prescription for me. I asked my doctor to call in the script to the CVS in Baldwin Park-- that turned out to be a BIG mistake. I arrived at 9:55 p.m., circled the parking lot four (4!) times to find a parking spot, but still managed to arrive a full hour before their pharmacy's stated closing time on Google. I was initially taken aback when the door adjacent to the parking lot (usually unlocked) was locked, and the store employee shrugged her shoulders. Fortunately, a second employee directed me to the front entrance. So, I walked around the building and entered, at 10:00 p.m. on the nose, surprised to see the pharmacy was caged and closed. Their website says they are open until 11 p.m., but apparently it's more like 9:55. Sick and exhausted, I waited in the regular check out line (8 people deep - poor girl working the register had no help) to ask about my options... Surely I had options, right??? Finally, she buzzed a manager to assist with the line. I waited for her to finish up the other customers and then quietly explained my situation to Haley, the shift supervisor. I politely inquired about the discrepancy on their website and she rudely rebutted that it says CVS Pharmacy Hours, but that's just the name of their store, not their pharmacy. I wish I could have recored her tone of voice, but I digress. The pharmacy closes at 10. Surely, at 10:05, I would still be able to get my prescription filled at another CVS, right? Wrong. It had been filled, so insurance would not cover it at another location. No problem. I could pay out of pocket, right? At first, Haley suggested that perhaps another pharmacy could give me enough to tide me over for a night. I had hope! Then, she remembered that no CVS pharmacy is open after 10 p.m. in Central Florida. I repeat -- no CVS pharmacies are open after 10 p.m. in central Florida. They claim to be a neighborhood pharmacy but they have poor customer service and horrible hours -- do yourself a favor and stay away! :( read more

I've been shopping at cvs, faithfully, for the last ten years. It's the only place I buy cosmetics. Usually I save my receipts in case I need to exchange anything. This time I accidentally threw out my recently for some makeup I purchased. I went back to this store bc this is where I made the purchase. I didn't use the liptstick. I wanted to exchange them bc in the dark store the colors look dark but once you take them outside, the color is 5 shades lighter. Too light for my liking. Anyway, my original purchase was 4 Maybelline products which gave me $10 in extra bucks. The promotion is STILL on but I was informed that the colors I bought weren't purchased in the last 5 weeks, which is definitely not correct. I still have the receipt from when I used those $10 extra bucks and it's from 2 days prior to buying the Maybelline products. I wasn't lying. Something is wrong w their system or the cashier rang me up incorrectly. Either way, this experience saddens me. I will no longer purchase anything from CVS. I will only shop at Walgreens now. read more

The pharmacy technicians are horrible. I dropped off prescriptions for my son and nephew that hat just had oral surgery. It was antibiotics and pain medicine. They said it would be about an hour. I went and took care of a few things came back and they were not done. At this point it's been over two hours. My kids pain medication has worn off from their oral surgery and these guys are arguing over insurance that they are saying is being denied. I called my insurance company and they said that they are processing it under the wrong name and they need to correct that. They are refusing to correct it and are saying it's done correctly. Well, if it were done correctly then it wouldn't be denied which is what I have told them and the insurance company has also told them but yet they refuse to listen. Meanwhile my kids are in complete pain and they said I have to pay out of pocket for the medication since they can't figure it out. How insane. I will never come here again!!! I recommend no one ever come here because they do not care about their customers. They are more worried about being right when they are clearly not listening to what needs to happen to correct it. read more
