But I stopped in just to order a quick sub, I noticed there were zero carts available for anyone which was odd. I feel bad for people who were going in to actually grocery shop, they would have needed to do it with only a basket. So taking a star off for that. The older lady at the sub counter looked over it. There was nobody in line, so it wasn't like it was busy. I asked for a jerk turkey sub. She likes ok but what kind of bread do you want? I proceeded to say white. She then said half or whole? I'll do half. I told her mayo on both sides, she looked annoyed. She asked what cheese, I said Gouda, she then looked annoyed again even though Gouda is what the sandwich comes with. I added some other toppings and then said bacon. She was like "you want bacon?? I said yes, ma'am. She proceeds to get the bacon out of the drawer and sticks in the oven for not even 10 seconds, so the bacon is flimsy and fatty not crispy at all. (Bacon comes on this sandwich so I'm not sure why it was such a bother.) she wraps it and hands it to me, without even asking if I wanted anything else on it. I said thank you and took the sandwich but walked away confused like why was this lady so bothered. No "you're welcome, or have a nice day" nothing. All in all, taking another star off because she is the wrong person to be customer facing because she's not pleasant at all. She should be in the back somewhere. Also-there is a very elderly lady in the parking lot gathering the carts. I feel like she should be working indoors in the AC and maybe have someone younger in the heat outside for liability purposes...and because it's the right thing to do. Would not come back to this location especially since there's another Publix across the street that has plenty of carts and friendly deli people.

The store is pretty clean every time I come in, and I appreciate that. I never really have to hunt things down & what I usually buy is almost always stocked. The energy in here is chill, nothing too loud or overwhelming. I feel safe coming in alone, even late. The check-out lines aren't too long, which is a plus. Prices are about what you'd expect, but at least I'm not driving far for groceries. Overall, it's a solid spot if you live in the area and want a peaceful, quick shopping run.

After that, my boyfriend got a coffee at the café where Silvia took his order and made the most flavorful and rich coffee he has ever had. Finally, when we checked out, the sweetest lady named Jen helped us and even referred us to the manager so we could share how great our experience had been. My, how times have changed. This Costco is always busy even on the weekdays. It's just varying degrees of business. I would recommend staying away from this location on the weekends as it definitely is at its peak demand. Today, we had a great experience and picked up an Interstate battery for our vehicle. Interstate is one of the 'top-shelf' brands and Costco sells it for a great deal. Only $125 for a 3 year warranted Interstate. My vehicle is a traditional key ignition. If you have a push ignition, you'll just a little bit more, but it is still a super deal for one of the best batteries on the market. If you go to AutoZone or advanced auto parts, similar batteries (Everlasting and Die Hard Platinum) are going to be at least $120 more than you pay at Costco. I checked with Costco prior to heading out and Victor was quite helpful on the phone as well as in person. Outstanding technician.

They also have a worse attitude than an IRS agent! Thank God my wife found Paul and his great little pharmacy. Yes one man working here. Of course he gets everything done efficiently with a smile on his face! It's like the old days when you knew the Pharmacist and you weren't a number! Paul follows up on refills, texts or calls you when they are ready and gets the job done. All at a much lower price! Paul is also a fun guy to talk to, he cares about his customers. I did not, so she went ahead and helped me out so I could get the discount on the Gatorlytes I purchased. The service was very friendly and efficient. It has a traditional convenience store setup, but I really like that they have several gas pumps so you can fill up easily. While yes, it has quite a lovely exterior and by comparison it is a larger than average footprint, it's just so crowded at all times. And because the parking is so egregious, you're just out in a bad mood from the get go. I've had visits where I had to circle the lot for more than 20 min just to find parking. It's the tourist TJ and I'm sure that's a massive contributor to how busy it is but out of the two I try to avoid this location at all costs. I find it confusing too because this was my go-to grocery store when I did my College Program in 2019 at the height of Trader Joe's mania and it was never as busy as it always is now. Don't be mad at this location be mad at TJ for only having two options in such a rapidly growing city. I can't believe there isn't an option in Winter Garden.
