This review is specifically for the Minute Clinic located inside CVS and my visit with Diane, NP. I have been battling what I thought was an upper respiratory infection and a cough that I just can't shake (a lot of that going around right now). I wanted to get on some antibiotics to knock it out before my big event next week. I easily made an appointment online and checked in via text when I got into the waiting area. Diane was just finishing up with another patient and saw me right away. She was very kind and knowledgeable, especially in regards to allergies. After completing her assessment, she properly diagnosed me with seasonal allergic rhinitis. Basically meaning what I have is not viral and I likely have seasonal allergies that need to be addressed. Because I am still breastfeeding, the types of medications I can take that are considered safe are very limited. Diane took all the necessary precautions and prescribed me 2 medications and nasal spray. I really appreciated all her insight and taking the time to thoroughly explain things to me. I also learned that taking an antihistamine while breastfeeding will actually dry up your milk. Glad I know that now. What's nice about going to a CVS Minute Clinic is that they send all your scripts right over to their pharmacy and they were ready in less than 10 minutes. Typical CVS with tons of snacks and made for a quick pick me up. They just need to make sure people are working so it's actually a quick stop and customers don't need to go and look for someone to ring them up read more

I went To CVS 10 minutes before closing time. I was Fully aware, but I get off work very late and I needed to run in for a couple items. I was greeted by a man who was clearly NOT happy to see me. I apologized for coming in so late and he said nothing. He looked like a manager perhaps. There was a lady cashier who was on her way out, she put down her purse and belongings to ring me up. She also asked if I needed help finding anything. She made my quick experience pleasurable. I was out by 10:57. Made sure of it. It would have been nice not to feel so unwelcome by the manager- especially during opening hours. read more

The pharmacist here is super nice!!! I stopped by because I received a text message with a coupon for $2 off. I had been suffering with a headcold for the last week so I decided it was a great opportunity to get some DayQuil. I grabbed the DayQuil and headed toward the pharmacy. I only had one item and they have no line. I also wanted to get some decongestant from behind the counter of the pharmacy. I asked for Zyrtec DND pharmacy tech asked me if I wanted 12 hour or 24 hour. That confused me, as the Zyrtec D is only 12 hour. However, Zyrtec D comes in 12 or 24 pills. So I said I'll have 24 pills. The pharmacist chimed in that Zyrtec D is only 12 hour, so there is only one kind. The pharmacist tech was a bit confused, I could tell she was new. She rang me up but could not get the coupon to work. The pharmacist came to help after multiple attempts. The pharmacist was able to get the coupon to work, and even started troubleshooting why my app did not reflect the same number on my CVS card. I could see the line was getting long, so I told the pharmacist I would fix it on my own time but who should I call? He gave me the phone number to call and I was on my way, having saved two dollars. I was surprised that the pharmacist was so involved in the day-to-day transactions at the pharmacy. And even more surprised at his willingness and enthusiasm to help customers save two dollars. I arrived 3 minutes late to my Minute Clinic appointment and it was 'automatically' canceled because the woman didn't see me (when I was literally behind the door). I even signed in when I arrived, but they still refused to take me in. Would not recommend this CVS to anyone, especially not the Minute Clinic. read more

Service here is just plain bad. Nobody cares, I called about a prescription transfer. It was clear they didn't want the work or business. Then I waited well they "searched for a pen". Didn't put me on hold so I listens to the lady yell about how are their no pens, no I don't want a sharpee, who took my pen etc etc. Then she never followed up and did the work anyway. read more

The CVS Minute Clinic at this location was laughably awful. I came in with a straightforward (and obvious) issue, checking off every symptom on the list, and the nurse practitioner I saw INSISTED on a different diagnosis (for which I did not have many key symptoms). She refused to prescribe me the basic antibiotic I needed. I repeatedly questioned her and provided evidence that I was sick, and she kept insisting it was "just allergies." I spent $25 to argue with this woman for 30 minutes, and left with no solution. Went to a Care Spot, saw a doctor, and voila! I DO have an infection. Skip this place if you have common sense and just need actual care. read more

Probably the worst pharmacy i've ever had to deal with. I transferred a prescription over to CVS because I was told they would be able to fill it sooner than my usual Walgreens. After speaking to someone every 3 days I was told something completely different than what I was told the previous time. The workers don't have any answers to common questions and some of them would catch a tone when I had simple questions I just needed to ask. After all of this I called my usual Walgreens that i've been with and they were able to get my prescription back from CVS and fill my medication in a phone call that was less than 2 minutes. The phone system for walgreens and CVS is verrrrry different. I reccomend Walgreens ALWAYS. read more

I have come to this CVS location for years. I recently switched to Publix and am now aware that the CVS prices for the same Rx are overpriced. The staff isn't very friendly and many of them wear headphones or one EarPod, so it's hard to tell if they are talking to you or someone else. The space is crammed and this location is closed for lunch for all staff to eat at same time leading to delays. With adequate staff (4-5 people there today) you would think they could get all the customers served in a timely manner and take shifts eating lunch, avoiding the line of 6 people waiting inside when they opened. * In today's current "normal", the things we took for granted are now seemingly today's luxuries. However, genuine kindness and courtesy is like a balm for some of of today's griefs. Speaking of which, I received the aforementioned at my visit to this CVS for my COVID injection. The staff was very courteous and professional. Everything was all well thought: * When you walk in at the front, you are greeted and asked if you have a scheduled appointment and then verified. * If you do have an appointment, you are instructed to follow red arrows which lead you to a waiting line that is spaced 6 feet apart until you reach a designated area were you are verified for your appointment once more. The lovely ladies who administered the shots were top notch. * I was then instructed to proceed into a "waiting area" where I was greeted by "Evelyn Harrison". She kindly ushered me to a seat that was well placed apart ( as where the others ) and then placed a timer for 15minutes. ( They do as a precaution and everyone before me left without incident ). So you may ask, why did I mention Evelyn? I sat there as I watched her treat every person with the same genuine courtesy and professionalism. To add, folks who milled around the area, she took the initiative to ask if they needed assistance in finding what they were looking for. At this point, I knew I had to sing her praises and let her be recognized for making a difference in a time where we need it most. Applause for you and your team! read more

I really don't understand how people working for CVS are so incompetent, rude and so unprofessional. I left 3 messages for them to call Publix to transfer a medication since my insurance only allows me to fill medication at CVS. I mentioned 3 times to Krista the name of medication clearly. the next day I called again , now they have a new phone system that I had to leave a message , doesn't get a live person to answer the phone. Krista said they still haven't called Publix to transfer the prescription. then my daughter waited in line for 30 minutes to pick up the medication and another 15 minutes for them to mix the medication. they filled the wrong medication!!! i received the wrong medication after waiting for 2 days. every single CVS around central florida is incompetent and they don't care about their duties. they don't even fill the right medication. when you let them know then they have horrible attitude and bad manner read more

So, I cannot speak for the pharmacy staff because I do not use this pharmacy, but I need to give a good review for the regular store staff. This was my go-to drugstore when I lived in the Orlando area. Bill and Chelsea, the store managers, were always so kind whenever I went into the store. They would greet me by name. Employees Carlos and Jonathan were also super sweet and helpful. They always went above and beyond to help me locate items, etc. I believe Carlos was ultimately promoted to a technician in the pharmacy, so I am thinking that the customer service in the pharmacy department has probably increased since his promotion but cannot say for sure since again, I do not get my prescriptions filled here. However, I would highly recommend this store for general over the counter items. They stock items that you would not normally find in a drugstore, such as LilyAna's natural face cream etc. I previously ordered that through Amazon. Also, as you know, CVS offers great coupons and a rewards program. I highly recommend this location if you live in the area. read more

The pharmacy manager at this store shouldn't be working with customers. His people skills are very poor and he doesn't understand the concept of proving healthcare with kindness and empathy. He had refused to re-run a medication through my correct insurance plan when I called. He told me the claim went through (turns out it was a GoodRx code had on file) and he was not required to run it again. His arrogance and inability to humanize himself is highly disappointing. He would do better in a mail order pharmacy. This store is notorious for having the worst service. read more

I had to transfer my prescriptions to this pharmacy because my previous (AWFUL ONE) went out of business. I called to refill my prescriptions over the phone and spoke with a young woman. I explained I needed my prescriptions refilled, I was being normal/pleasant with her btw, and was met with a rude "Okay, for the one prescription it was filled a week ago and you never came to get it, are you gonna pick it up NOW??" Like she was threatening me if I didn't she wouldn't refill it or something. Lady, I know, I'm sorry, I forgot to get it, I have a lot going on, it slipped my mind. I'm human. I told her I would, and I had another prescription I needed a refill on, and she said that medication was out of stock. This one is SUPER CRUCIAL as I can have side effects from it that could lead to seizures and even death if I do not take it regularly. The first one I can go without for a few days and be okay-ish, but my second prescription is dangerous if I stop taking it. I am beyond annoyed, this is my first time dealing with them over the phone and I am NOT impressed. Just awful customer service. read more

The tech who answered the phone this morning was rude beyond belief - young girl with serious attitude. I have a problem getting my scripts every month, yesterday apparently a floater pharmacist gave me the wrong info so I asked to speak to a pharmacist to clear things up and figure out how I can make this easier on me each month. After asking multiple times she said do you want him to tell u the same thing I just told you? I could hear her and the pharmacist laughing and then they hung up on me. Had to call back and wait on hold forever just for her to pick up and in a sickeningly sweet tone deny hanging up on me. Showed up to the pharmacy around 5 minutes before closing time to pick up my prescription (I know I know I hate being that person but it was the best I could do today). Only car in the drive thru and all the windows inside the pharmacy counter are already closed. I hit the call button and woman rudely picks up the phone to tell me they're already closed. I told her I've been waiting and got here before 9:00pm. And she tells me well it's 9 now and the cashier drawer was already taken so she couldn't help me anyway. They very obviously closed prior to their listed closing time. If your hours of operation say until 9pm, then you should be serving customer up until 9pm. Period. read more

CVS Minute Clinic - Very Hit and Miss - Bit of a Scam too The visit seemed productive in a clean facility and the practitioner that gave me a 7 to 10 day course of treatment seemed efficient. Cost $99 - BUT As a company they are structured for you to come in for repeated $99 follow up visits by giving you prescriptions in smaller amounts than the given treatment period. You go in for bronchitis with coughing that has lasted months - treatment: 14 antibiotics for two pills for the 7 day treatment and prescription cough syrup for same period of 7-10 days. But they can not do math because you are give bottle that required 3 refills during that 10 day period with nor refill unless you visit clinic having another "practitioner" on duty. Bi. Prescription bottle contains 120 ml but instructions is 10 ml taken 4 times a day for 10 days - that's 400 ml with no refill. Bingo! They just made $198 more. I called in and asked they contact the practitioner that wrote subscription. But the "practitioner of the day" called to argue that I needed to come in for "evaluation not by the first nurse who prescribed the 7-10 day course of treatment but whomever is there. Good luck with their corporate through which all calls go, as they have policy to not contact the original practitioner that saw you and made the error. If you ask for a manager, then it is "3 to 5 business days" call back. Bingo! They just made $297 more with another. That is the scam. read more

Stopped in here to buy some water before going to the movies but this location did not have Zephryhills water so I had to buy another brand of water (Fuji) water. Nothing special about CVS , they are the same things as Walgreen's but less expensive and are not in every corner like Walgreen's well in most city's. Being that is across from the movie theater they probably get a lot of people in there buying candy and drinks or you can walk from the movie theater to the Publix in the same plaza and buy food to sneak in food. read more

I have been going to this CVS for years. They are generally OK at best. They have gone downhill in a big way recently. From not checking insurance to the recent fiasco of them not bothering to pick up the phone for three days. After asking the pharmacist (Katie) if they aren't picking up the phone she gave a "we answer the phone after all customers have been helped". Normally that is fine. Now it is most definitely not. For a pharmacy to force someone to come in after claiming to be interested in the health of its customers is unthinkable. Where a one minute phone call would have gotten a refill taken care of, I now have to take two trips. Social distancing is a thing. Places are being closed down. Refusing to pick up the phone puts people in danger. Being nasty about it just makes the situation worse. Until the virus scare is over, avoid this pharmacy. Their behavior makes it unsafe for everyone. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE FOR COVID TESTING- DO NOT GO HERE My appointment was at 4:20PM today for the drive-through COVID testing through 3rd party company. I came in before the appointment time and the lady in the pharmacy drive through asked for my name & tells me that I am not in the system and I need to go to rapid testing around the corner outside and the whole time she was in a rude tone as if she was annoyed that I told her that I have the confirmation code and the correct time and date and rushed me to get out of drive through. So anyways, I go to the rapid testing portable around the corner, and the lady there tells me I'm not in their system but was persistent in trying to find my name. She was super nice and tried 30 minutes on figuring out why I wasn't showing up thinking maybe I signed up for the rapid testing since the pharmacy lady said so. The rapid test lady ended up calling her supervisor I believe, and the supervisor on the phone went to her location to put me in manually to get me in for the rapid testing but while she was doing that, she DID find my name and it was under the drive through pharmacy. The rapid test lady told me to go back in drive through and said I'm 100% in their system and in a jokingly voice told me to make sure the lady does test me! So at 4:50PM I went back to drive through, and the same lady automatically tells me that I'm not in the system and I probably have the wrong location and at this time they're done testing for the day. After she said that, I'm super frustrated and I tell her that I am definitely in the system because the other lady at the rapid testing told me I was (she interrupted me and said that they can't access her system in a rude tone), I said that this lady CALLED the supervisor and the supervisor found my name under drive through when she was going to put me in manually to get tested. The rude drive through lady asked my name again 5 times, and kept saying she couldn't find me and this whole time she has a BIG attitude when I kept telling her I'm in the system and I have proof. She ignored me for 10 min to look into it. During that time my boyfriend has been witnessing this whole scenario and was more frustrated than I was because I have patience. My boyfriend left my car to go to the rapid test portable to tell the lady what's happening in drive through. She called the supervisor and told my boyfriend that the supervisor is going to call drive through pharmacy directly. I guess she did because the rude pharmacy lady comes back, THROWS THE TESTING KIT IN THE BIN, walks away without saying a WORD to me and didn't tell me any directions. Nothing. Thankfully my boyfriend tested himself the day before at another CVS location (and his experience was quick and easy), so he told me what to do but he said his test looked a little different. So I said that I'll just wait in line til she comes back to ask so I don't mess up since she ignored me on the microphone asking what to do. By the way, there's 6 cars behind me while she's ignoring me. She finally comes and I asked her what to do there's no instructions on this kit. With her bad attitude she told me what to do briefly and to just put it in the bin when I'm done and walks away. She didn't give me any sanitizing wipes for the bin when in the video I watched said they will provide and my boyfriend's location provided proper directions and sanitation to put in the bin. I DID not receive any of that. 50 min later I finally got my test done, frustrated, hungry, and disappointed I went through this. I don't even know when I'll receive results because this rude bad attitude mouth lady didn't tell me anything. I have COVID symptoms and I work in a hospital, I did not need to be treated this way when I'm trying to help the community and myself. I contacted CVS after and obviously the pharmacy have closed. I did ask for names though, & the supervisor front desk told me the only two African American ladies there names are Whitney and Tago, he didn't know for sure which one was talking to me. The CVS Minute Clinic came in very handy recently when I was feeling very under the weather (very unlike me) and I didn't want to make the trek across town to see my P.A. I do wish I had known about the texts you can sign up for beforehand- they give you an estimate of wait time so you are not sitting and waiting there indefinitely (and being exposed to the nasty yuckiness of sick people coughing and sneezing). I am thankful though because although I had a lengthy wait (20-30 min) the Nurse Practitioner said there was a 2-3 hour wait the day before! If you are headed specifically to the Minute Clinic, head directly to the back of the store, and sign up on the touch screen. It will ask a series of questions and then remind you that they do take insurance but that if you don't have insurance, payment Is due . I had a $30 copay which I was happy to pay since it would've been more than that if I went to a Centra Care or the ER! There was someone seeing the NP as well as someone ahead of me when I signed in so I waited a good 1/2 hour. There are plenty of seats surrounding that area and next to some of the aisles. Or you can take the time to meander through the store to kill time. I was a bit annoyed there was only one women's restroom available and that someone was in there probably the entire time I was waiting to be seen. The Nurse Practitioner was very pleasant , took my vitals and then asked pertinent questions regarding my illness so that she could diagnose. The perfect part of this operation is that if she prescribes anything , you can get everything filled easily. The whole idea of having a Minute Clinic here is genius! While I wouldn't substitute the Minute Clinic for a regular doctor, they are convenient and get the job done. read more

Typical CVS store with a decent location in Winter Park. If you are traveling northbound on 17-92, the easiest way to enter is by making a left on Webster. Otherwise, you can enter the parking lot off of Lee Road or by traveling southbound on 17-92. The parking lot was clean with plenty of parking, which is always a plus! The inside has the typical CVS layout, with a walkway through the middle of the store leading to the pharmacy department and several small aisles on either side. I have not used the pharmacy, but it did not seem to busy so I may be back to try that. They had a solid selection of cold waters, juices, energy drinks, colas, and plenty of ice, in addition to just about anything else you could ever want for everyday living. Fortunately the store was not too busy as they only had one person, very friendly, working the counter. I did not see much more staff, so I could imagine Josh's frustration when there is a short line of people waiting to check out. Overall, nice CVS to use if you live in, or are near the area. read more

It's your typical CVS but I have found that what might be out of stock at other stores can be found here which is why it is my go to CVS. Still, it's CVS so it has that dreary, sad interior unlike the ever happy Walgreens. read more

I came into CVS to visit their Minute Clinic. I've had flu-like symptoms and my primary doc couldn't fit me in until next week. With Centra Care boasting a $100 co-pay, this was my best bet. I got there right at 1:30 and signed in only to be told the physician on duty was taking a mandatory lunch break. I completely understand, I tell him and wait patiently. I actually decided to go next door and grab some lunch as well. By the time I got back only 30 minutes had passed, so I still had to wait another 30 for the physician to return from lunch. Once he did it was what could be expected. He was quick, professional and informative. After a $65 co-pay and $15 prescription fill for antibiotics I was on my way within 30 minutes (after the initial 1 hour wait). read more

Ordered some cards through the photo department online yesterday, they were scheduled to be ready by 4pm. I received an email after 6pm staying my order was ready. I waited until 11am today to stop by and pick them up... Should take 5 mins, right? WRONG!!! I had to wait ten mins for someone to come to photo desk to help me... Then they remembered that they never finished processing my order!!! So I had to wait for them to cut each card. THEN they couldn't find the envelopes!!! Grrr, over half of my lunch WASTED!
